Crime Report on July 25, 2017


1.  A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 100/17 has been registered at PS New Shimla on 25.07.2017 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act has been registered on the rukka of HC Dinesh Kumar No. 1678 I/O PS New Shimla alleging therein that during the night of 24/25.07.2017 at about 01-15 AM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Gaurav Kumar S/o Sh. Leela Dass R/o Village Jamog, PO Junni, Tehsil & PS Sunni, Distt. Shimla A/P House No. 154, Block No. 8, Sector-2, New Shimla, age 30 years intercepted by them near Mist Chamber Khalini, and recovered 48 Tablets of Nitrosun-10 (Restricted Medicine) from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Dinesh Kumar No. 1678, I/O PS New  Shimla.
2.  Case FIR No. 130/17 Dt. 25.07.17 U/S 302 IPC PS Theog has been registered on the statement of Sh. Pratap Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Mathu Ram R/o Village Sarghat PO Parala, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 46 years alleging therein that on 19.07.2017 at about 11-00 AM, his younger son namely Mohit Bekta went to Theog Bazar, but not return back to home. One Sh. Bhoop Ram told him that there have been a fight with Mohit Bekta & Mahender Bekta at Mohog. During the searched of his son, Mahender Bekta met him at Theog Bazar and told him that on the night of 19.07.2017, some persons have beaten them brutally.  On 24.07.2017 at about 01-30 PM, he received a call from PS Theog that they have recovered the unidentified dead body from Shilla gadol nala near village Mahog. On this he went to PS Theog and identified the deadbody as his son. He doubts that some known person has killed his son Mohit Bekta. The case is being investigated by SI Rajnish Thakur, SHO PS Theog.
3.  A CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST: Case FIR No. 123/17 has been registered at PS Rampur on 24.07.2017 U/S 405 406 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Jaggarnath S/o Sh. Dina Nath R/o Village Garolu, Tehsil Joginder Nagar, Distt. Mandi A/P RM in HRTC Depot Rampur alleging therein that  during the checking of Bus No. HP06-6183, Bhupinder Kumar S/o Sh. Munni Lal, who was performing the duty of Bus Conductor as HRTC Skill Development Trainee, was caught red handed by dishonesty misappropriating the money, which should have accrued to the HRTC fund.
4.  During last 24 hours 171 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 97 & fine realized Rs. 42,100/- and 17 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,760/-.
FOLLOW UP
Accused Gaurav Kumar S/o Sh. Leela Dass R/o Village Jamog, PO Junni, Tehsil & PS Sunni, Distt. Shimla A/P House No. 154, Block No. 8, Sector-2, New Shimla, age 30 years, arrested in case FIR No.100/17 Dt. 25/07/17 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS. Act at PS New Shimla, is being produced before Ld. court today.
