AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 99/17 has been
registered at PS New Shimla 23.07.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act
on the statement of Sh. Lekh Raj Sharma S/o Sh. Ram Lal Sharma R/o Village
Vaniya Devi PO Bakhalag Tehsil & PS Arki, Distt. Solan alleging therein
that on 23.07.2017, he alongwith his wife, daughter & friends namely
Devender Kumar & Kishan was coming to Shimla from Solan in his car No.
HP11C-0300. At about 11-15 PM, When he reached near Mist Chamber Khalini, at
the same one Truck came rashly with negligent driving & hit his car,
thereafter run away from the spot. In this accident, they all sustained
injuries.

A RIOTING: Case FIR No. 101/17 has been
registered at PS Dhalli on 23.07.2017 U/S 147, 149, 323 IPC on the statement
of Sh. Vijay Kumar R/o Kawasaki Dooblu, Junga Shimla alleging therein that on
22.07.2017, Sewak Ram alongwith six other persons beaten him brutally, caused
sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Virender, I/O
PP Junga.

During
last 24 hours 267 vehicles were challaned under MV Act,
compounded = 95 & fine realized Rs. 27,900/- and 38 persons
challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 3,900/-.
INQUEST REPORT
Today morning
at about 08-10 AM, an unidentified dead body of male person, age 30/35 years
has been found in Shilla gadol nala near village Mahog, in the jurisdiction of
PS Theog. After preliminary enquiry and inspection of spot, it seems that this
person has been slipped from thoroughfare into Nallah and died on the spot. The
body is shifted to IGMC Shimla for further legal proceeding.
