1. A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN case FIR No. 127/13 is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 24-06-13 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC on the report of Sh. Mohinder Singh S/o Late Sh. Jagdish Chand R/o Mansa Ram Gautam Niwas, Jimidar House, Bhuniwar, Chakkar Shimla, alleging, therein that when he reached at ISBT crossing Tutikandi in his vehicle No. HP-01-2282, one HR No. vehicle restrained him and one Sh. Arjun Pandit along with his friends came down and uses filthy language, beat him and ran away from the spot. Case is being investigated by HC Ravinder Kumar T/o PS West.
2. During last 24 hours 253 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act for the violation of Traffic rules and 07 persons were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005). The total amount of compounding fee of Challans under MV & COPTA is Rs. 23,300/-.
