Crime Report on December 30, 2017

1.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No 83/17 has been registered at PS Jubbal today on 30.12.2017 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Vijay Kumar S/O Sh. Krishan Kumar R/O Vill. Khara Pathar PO Deem Tehsil Jubbal Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 29.12.2017 at about 05-30 PM, one vehicle No. HR99-CAN(T) 4977 Baleno Car met with an accident at Balokhar Near Khara Pathar & rolled  down from the road due to rash and negligent driving of Hem Chand R/O Village & PO Himri Tehsil Kotkhai Distt Shimla. In this incident Hem Chand and his wife Prabha sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Amar Nath I/O PS Jubbal.

2. A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 190/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 29.12.2017 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Satish Kumar S/O Sh. Dharam Pal Sharma R/O Nar Singh Niwas, Lower Cemetery Sanjauli Shimla alleging therein that  He is having account in UCO bank, High Court Branch, Shimla. On 16.11.2017, some unknown person has fraudulently withdrawn amounting to Rs. 50000/- by making two transactions (25000 each) from UCO Bank ATM at Jaipur. However, he never shares his credentials, nor received any fake call. The case being investigated by ASI Santosh Raj I/O PS Dhalli.

3.   A THEFT: Case FIR No. 160/17 has been registered at PS Rohru on 29.12.2017 U/S 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Gourav Kumar S/O Lt. Sh. Dev Raj R/o Village & PO Sonipat C/O Haryana Khadi Store Rohru alleging therein that on 28.12.2017, during counting of cash, Rs. 60,000/- found less from total sale.. During analysis of CCTV Camera footage, he found that an unknown lady has committed the above theft when he was busy to attend the other customers. The case is being investigated by ASI Shanti Swaroop I/O PS Rohru.

4. During last 24 hours 291 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 93 fine realized Rs. 43,600/- and 11 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1100/-.
