1. A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN: Case
FIR No. 189/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli today on 29.12.2017 U/S
341, 323, 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Arvind S/o Sh. Deen Dayal Yadav R/o
Brij Niwas near Dhalli Tunnel, Shimla, age 22 years alleging therein that on
28.12.2017 at about 07-00 PM, Tara Chand Kalta, Jagdish Thakur & Pankaj
Kalta came to his shop & demanding their money, but his father told them
that there is not money at this time. On this above persons have obstructed the
way of his father and scuffled with his whole family members. In this incident,
his sister sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Parma Nand,
I/O PS Dhalli.
2. During
last 24 hours 199 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded=
80 fine realized Rs. 31,900/- and 06 persons
challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 600/-.
FIRE INCIDENT
Today
moring at about 07-00 AM, fire incident took place in the three stories house
with 9 rooms of Prakash Chand, Pramod Singh & Surender Singh, all are the
Sons of Lt. Sh. Jiddu Ram R/o Village
Bouli PO Dochi Tehsil Jubbal District Shimla, in the jurisdiction of PS Jubbal.
Due to fire, above house alongwith household articles, amounting to Rs. 50
lacs, have tottaly been destroyed.

SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS ON THE EVE OF NEW YEAR-2018
Shimla experiences a huge inflow of tourists on
the eve of New Year. More than usual number of foreigners and tourists from all
over the nation specially bordering states is expected for the celebration on this
occasions at Shimla. Keeping in view of above, Shimla & its surrounding areas
have been divided into seven sectors in which 7 Gazetted Officers and 500
Police Personnel are being deployed to maintain the security arrangements and
to avoid any untoward incident. Special parking arrangements have been made in
the restricted roads for the convenience of the tourists.
