Crime Report on December 27, 2017

1. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 228/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 26.12.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sushil S/o Sh. Hariman R/o Village Nahog, PO Satog, Tehsil Theog, Shimla alleging therein that he is a stundent of 1^st year in ITI in Jais Thoeg. On 26.12.2017 at about 04-10 PM, He alongwith 20/25 students took a lift in Pikc-Up. When they reached near Pachav (Theog), above vehicle met with an accident and rolled down due to rash & negligent driving of Pick-Up driver. In this accident, 6/7 students sustained injuries. The case is being investigated byu HC Suredh Kumar, I/O PS Theog.
2. A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN: Case FIR No. 252/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 26.12.2017 U/S 341 323 504 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ashwani Sharma S/o Sh. Sita Ram Sharma R/o Village Dhar, PO Shakrah, Tehsil & District Shimla, age 34 years alleging therein that he is running a Tea Shop near Ghannahatti. On 26.12.2017 at about 08-20 PM, he requested from Jai Dev to take his Uncle to home with them. On this, Lalit started to abuse them and alongwith Jai Devi, Sonu & Shashi beaten him brutally. The case is being investigated by HC Narender, I/O PS Shimla West.
3. A THEFT: Case FIR No. 188/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli today on 27.12.2017 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Puneet Kumar S/o Sh. Bhagat Ram R/o Village Lamshar, PO Jassal, Tehsil Karsog, Distt. Mandi, HP Presentaly resding at R/o Bhuma Niwas, Tara Colony, Kamla Nagar, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 25/26.12.2017, some unknown person has stolen away his Motorcycle No. HP30-4736, Bajaj Pulsar bearing Chassis No. MD2A13Ez4GCE11367 Engine NO. DKZCGE28129 parked on Churatnala Road.   
4. During last 24 hours 234 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 144 fine realized  Rs. 54,500/- and 07 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 700/-.
