Crime Report September 18, 2017

1.       An ND&PS Act case FIR No. 49/17 Dt. 17.09.17 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act has been registered at PS Chopal on the rukka of HC Ankush No. 1674, I/O PS Chopal, Shimla alleging therein that during patrolling alongwith staff one Alto Car  alongwith driver Virender Mohan S/o Sh. Om Prakash R/o Village Kathiyana PO Chambi, Tehsil Chopal, Distt.  Shimla intercepted by them near Gas Agency Chopal and recovered 12 gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Ankush No. 1674, I/O PS Chopal. 

2.      A Rioting case FIR No 99/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 18-09-2017 u/s 341,323,427,147,149,382 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ravinder Saini S/o late Sh. Kripa Ram R/o Vil Aanji PO Taradevi Tehsil and Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 17-09-2017 he alongwith Anil Mehta and driver Anurag were going to Shimla from Kholighat in Vehicle No HP 01A-5784. When he they reached at Narkanda Ravu Negi met him and he alongwith above person went to Sidhpur to drop him. At Sidhpur Thakur Dass R/o Nun Sidhpur in the influence of alcohol started quarreled with him. After some time his son Ranjeev, Manjeev and three other persons came there and beaten him alongwith Anil Mehta with Iron road and sticks. Subsequently they broken the all glasses of his vehicle No. HP 01A-5784 and also theft Rs. 25,000/- from his Pocket. The case is being investigated by HC Dev Raj I.O PP Narkanda.

3.       A Rioting case FIR NO 66/17 has been registered at PS Sunni today on 18-0-/17 U/S 341,323,504,147,149  IPC on the complaint of Kumari Krishana Thakur D/o Smt Achharu Devi Vill Jander PO Basantpur Tehsil Sunni Distt Shimla alleging therein that today when she was in her field at the same time Yograj, Pawan,Neelam, Aditi, Bati Devi came there  restrained her, abuses, beaten and threatened. The case is being investigated by HC Rakesh P.S Sunni.

4.       An Accident case FIR No. 133/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on the statement of Virender Kumar S/o Late Sh. Om Parkash VPO Haripur Tehsil Dehra Distt. Kangra stated therein that on 17-09-2017 he was going to Theog from Shimla in his Vehicle No. HP01D-1536 (Innova). At about 06-00 PM When he reached near Lambidhar one scooty came rashly and negligently and collide with his vehicle. In this accident Scooty rider Subham S/o Madan Lal  VPO & Tehsil Nagrota Bagwan Distt. Kangra sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Rameshwar Singh I.O PS Dhalli.

5.       An Accident case FIR No. 161/17 Dated 17-9-17 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered at PS Rampur on the statement of Sh Ghanshyam S/O Sh Maya ram village Galandi PO Dev Dhar tehsil  Chachiot Mandi A/P Driver HRTC Depot Rampur Bsr alleging therein that on dated 17-9-17 he was going on Rampur Deothi route when he reached near SIP N drive Hotel Daklor one M/Cycle No HP06A6824 came from Nogli side rashly and negligently and collide with another scooty. In this accident three persons  seated on the M/Cycle and two persons seated on the scooty sustained injuries. This accident occurred due to rash and negligent driving of the Ryder Champa Uraw.  The case is being investigated by HC Sanjeev Kumar No 147 PS Rampur.

6.       A Cheating case FIR No 162/17 has been registered at PS Rampur today on  18-9-17 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of Sh Narender Bhaulani VPO Bahali Rampur Bsr alleging therein that he transfer online payment of  Rs 1,25000/- in a company in lieu of some investment. The official assured him that in return he will received a payment of Rs 10,00,000/-  but till date he did not received any payment and the official of the company is  demanding for more money.  The officials of company cheated him and grabbed 1,25,000/-. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Singh IC PP Tacklech.

7.       During last 24 hours 234 vehicle were challenged under MV Act, compounded =117 & fine realized Rs 43,700/- and 36 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 3,600/-

1.    Accused Virender Mohan S/o Sh. Om Prakash R/o Village Kathiyana PO Chambi, Tehsil Chopal, Distt.  Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 49/17 Dt. 17.09.17 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS at PS Chopal remanded in Police Custody up to 21-09-2017 by the Ld. Court.
