Crime Report on September 13, 2017

1.    A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 166/17 has been registered at PS Shimla Sadar today on 13.09.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC  Puran Chand, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 12/13.09.2017 at about 12-10 AM, during patrolling/night patrolling checking, one person namely Shyam Nath S/o Lt. Sh. Kanhaiya Lal R/o Dhara, Downdale Phagali, Shimla, age 64 years intercepted by them near Post office path leading to Downdale from Cart Road, Shimla and recovered 372 gram Ganja from the carrybag under his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Puran Chand, I/O PS Sadar.

2.    AN EXCISE: Case FIR No. 13/17 has been registered at PS Nankhari on 12-09-2017 u/s 39 of HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI/SHO Laiq Ram PS Nankhari alleging therein that on 12-09-2017 during patrolling he intercepted one person namely Mejar Singh S/o late Sh. Atma Ram R/o Madholi PO Surad Sub  Tehsil Nankhari and recovered 12 Bottles of illicit country liquor form his possession. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO Laiq Ram PS Nankhari.

3.    AN EXCISE:  Case FIR No. 171/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West today on 13.09.2017 U/S 39(I)(a) H.P. Excise Act on the rukka of Insp/SHO PS West alleging therein that today he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty at Shoghi Bazar. At the same time he received an secret information and searched the shop of Kripal Singh at Shoghi. During Search he recovered 11 Bottles of illicit Country liquor marka Una No. 1 from the possession of Kripal Singh. The case is being investigated by Insp/SHO Gauri Dutt Sharma PS West.  

4.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 37/17 has been registered at PS Nerwa on 12.09.2017 u/s 279,337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Prem Singh S/o Sh. Maau Ram Village Bajathal PO Nerwa Tehsil Chopal stated therein that on 12-09-2016 about 07-15 PM, one vehicle No. HP 63-9403 met with an accident due to rash and negligent driving of driver and rolled down from the road. In this accident complainant and Mehar Singh, Gulabi Devi  and Priyanka sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Ashwani Kumar PS Nerwa.

5.    AN ACCIDENT:  Case FIR No. 167/17 has been registered at PS Theog today on 13-09-2017 u/s 279,337 IPC on the rukka of HC Aadrash Kumar I/O PS Theog alleging therein that today at about 02-00 AM one loaded pickup of apple No. HP 63-7408 met with an accident due to rash and negligent driving of the driver/owner Nazar Lal Suman S/o Late Sh. Rattan Dass Suman R/o Maholi PO Gadog Tehsil Kotkhai Distt. Shimla.  In this accident Nazar Lal Suman sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Aadarsh Kumar I.O PS Theog.  

6.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 96/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 13.09.2017 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Bhupender Verma S/o Sh. Anant Ram R/o Village & PO Madhawani Tehsil Kumarsain, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that today on 13.09.2017, he was going to Audi from Narkanda in his M/Car No. HP06A-5179. At about 11-30 AM, when he reached near Rehri Khad and saw that one Truck No. HP64-3275, loaded with Cable Wire met with an accident & rolled down from the road. In this accident one person namely Shyam Lal S/o Sh. Dhani Ram R/o Village Batnoh, PO Kutaila PS Swarghat Tehsil Naina Devi, Bilaspur, age 35 years sustained injuries. He was shifted to IGMC Shimla for treatment. The case is being investigated by HC Ram Sain, I/O PS Kumarsain.

7.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 156/17 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 13.09.2017 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the rukka of HC Dola Ram, I/O PP Taklech, Rampur alleging therein that today one Bolero Camper No. HP06A-6278 met with an accident near Deothi and rolled down 100 meter from the road. In this accident one person namely Vinod S/o Sh. Dharam Prakash R/o Village Majholi, PO Deothi, Tehsil Rampur Shimla died on the spot and Arjun S/o Sh. Chaman Lal R/o Village Kuhl, sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Dola Ram, I/O PP Taklech, Rampur.  

8.    A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 168/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 12.09.2017 U/S  420 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Santosh Kumar S/o Sh. Mahadev Prasad R/o Village & PO Bakiyapour Tehsil Tarbganj Distt. Gonda Uttar Pradesh alleging therein that on 07-09-2017 he received a call from mobile No. 95701-42968 and asked for ATM number. He told the ATM number and subsequently he received a message of withdrawal of Rs. 50,000/- from his account. Holder of Mobile No. 95701-42968 fraudulently withdrawal the Rs. 50,000/- from his account and cheated him.

9.    A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 169/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 12-09-2016 u/s 420 IPC on the complaint of Lalita Sharma D/o late Sh. Parkash Chand R/o Vill Tikkri PO Dev Nagar Tehsil and Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 11-09-2016 he has received a call from mobile no. 83288-91428 and asked for ATM verification. He told the ATM No. and subsequently he received a message of withdrawal of Rs. 49997/- from his account. Holder of Mobile no. 83288-91428 fraudulently withdrawal the above amount and cheated with him.

10.  A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 170/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 12.09.2017 U/S 454 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Sulkhan Singh S/o Sh. Amanat Gill R/o House No. 20, HRTC Building, near Taradevi Railway Station, Shimla alleging therein that on 12.09.2017, some unknown person has broken the lock of his house and stolen away gold/silver jewelries & Cash Rs. 50,000/- from almirah.   The case is being investigated by ASI Dev Raj, I/O PS West. 

11.  During last 24 hours 364 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 140 & fine realized Rs. 74,300/- and 18 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 1,900/-.

FOLLOW-UP

1.    Accused Sourav Kumar S/o Sh. Mohan Lal R/O Vill.  Nehra  Po Bhali Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP age 18 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 155/17 Dt. 11.09.2017 U/S 363,366 IPC at PS Rampur  is remanded in police custody upto 14.09.2017, by the Ld. Court.

2.    Accused Shyam Nath S/o Lt. Sh. Kanhaiya Lal R/o Dhara, Downdale Phagali, Shimla, age 64 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 166/17 Dt.13.09.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar, is being produced before Ld. Court.
