Crime Report September 11, 2017

1.       A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 129/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 10.09.2017 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Dhalli, Shimla alleging therein that on 10.09.2017 at about 07-40 PM, when he alongwith staff reached (Fairlawn) Mashobra, one person namely Sachin Shyam S/o Sh. Joginder Singh Shyam R/o Village Banoga, PO Jahu, Tehsil Nankhari, Distt. Shimla, age 26 years intercepted by them and recovered 0.93 gram Brown Sugar & 3.28 gram Smack from his possession. Above accused has been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by SI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Dhalli, Shimla.

2.       AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 163/17 has been registered at PS West on 11.09.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Paras Kumar S/o Sh. Dev Narayan Mahotav R/o Village Kavimakama PO Bhojamatgama PS Mufsil Tehsil & Distt. Purniya Bihar, Age 30 years alleging therein that on 10.09.2017 at about 09-00 PM, after finished work, he alongwith Ajay was going back to Chandigarh in his Maruti Van. At about 10-30 PM, when  he reached at ITBP Check Post  near Taradevi, at the same time one Bus No. HP14A-6486, came rashly in wrong direction and hit his Maruti Van, caused sustained injuries to Ajay. The case is b being investigated by ASI Dev Raj, I/O PS Shimla West.

3.       AN ACCIDENT case FIR No. 164/17  has been registered at PS West today on 11.09.2017 U/S 279,337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Pankaj Kumar S/o Sh. Rattan Lal R/o Type-2, Block-B Set No. 2 Press Colony Ghoda Chowki Shimla stated therein that today he was going to Chandigarh in his Motorcycle No. CH01BA-7584 and when he reache near Goyal Motors one pick came rashly and negligently and hit his motorcycle and ran away. In this accident he sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Narinder Kumar I.O PS West.

4.       During last 24 hours 566 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 420 & fine realized Rs. 1,21,400/- and 27 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 2,700/- , 01 Challan under mining act and fine collected Rs. 7000/-.

1.       Accused i) Lucky Thakur S/o  Veerpal Thakur  R/o Parsa PO Lowerkoti Teh Rohru  age 19 years and ii) Aman @ Rohit S/o Surender Singh R/o VPO Giltari Tehsil Jubbal Distt Shimla age 21 yrs 3) Naveen Rana S/o Sh. Satpal Rana R/o Vill. Jitata, PO Masli, Tehsil Chirgaon, Distt Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 98/17 dated 30.08.17 u/s 341, 323, 307, 506, 34 IPC at PS Rohru remanded in Judicial  custody by the Ld. Court

2.       Accused 1) Parvej Akhtar S/o Muhmad Iqbal R/o Ward No.02 near Kotibani Koti Chalog Distt. Kathuaa J&K age 21 years, 2) Muhamad Arshad S/o Shaukat Ali R/o Ward No. 5 Vill Surjan PO & Tehsil Bani Distt. Kathua J&K age 25 years, arrested in case FIR No. 163/17 Dt. 08.09.2017 U/S 379 IPC at PS Theog, remanded in Judicial Custody upto 12.09.2017, by the Ld. Court.  

3.       Accused Mohan Lal S/o Lt. Sh. Shyalu Ram R/O Vill. Batali Po Kartot Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP age 37 years, arrested on 09-09-17 at 10.30 pm at Bhadawali in Case FIR No. 154/17 Dated 09-09-17 U/S 454,380,511 IPC PS Rampur remanded in Judicial Custody by the Ld. Court.

4.       Accused Sachin Shyam S/o Sh. Joginder Singh Shyam R/o Village Banoga, PO Jahu, Tehsil Nankhari, Distt. Shimla, age 26 years has been arrested in case FIR No. 129/17 Dt. 10.09.2017 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli.
