Crime Report Sep. 26, 2017

1.    A Cheating Case FIR No. 137/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 25-09-2017 u/s 420,34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Rajvir Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Kadam Singh R/o Raj Sadan Dhalli Shimla-12 age 78 years alleging therein that  Smt. Sunita Sharma R/o Tanta Niwas Inder Nagar Shimla deposited  some gold  jewelry as security  with  his wife Smt. Saroj Devi and borrowed  Rs. 7,20,000/- in lieu of this jewelry. Later on verification, it was revealed that the jewelry was factious.  And her step son also deposited cheque amounting Rs. 2 Lakhs  to him and borrowed Rs. 2 Lakhs but did not deposit the same cash back to complainant. Thus case has been registered and is being investigated by ASI Joginder Singh I/O PS Dhalli.

2.    An accident Case FIR No. 174/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 26-09-2017 u/s 279 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ayut S/o Sh. Dulal Ghosh R/o Kavamati District Murshidabad (WB) age 48 years alleging therein that today he along with Surjeet was going towards Shimla in Truck No. WB-57A-0066 which was loaded with apple boxes and when they reached near NWC Store Gajedi Theog due to rash & negligent   driving of driver  vehicle rolled down from the road. However, no person was injured in this accident but vehicle was crushed in this incident. Case has been registered and is being investigated by HC Sudesh Kumar  I/O PS Theog.

3.    During last 24 hours 263 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded =241 & fine realized Rs. 50,500/- and 7 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fined Rs. 700/-
