Crime Report on Sept. 09, 2017

1.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 152/17 has been registered at PS Rampur on 09.09.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the rukka of HC Narjeev Kumar, I/O PS Rampur alleging therein that on the intervening night of 08/09.09.2017, a Tempo No. HP63-1640 & a Car No. HP64-9570 collide with each-other near Machada Bridge Badrash, due to rash & negligent driving of Tempo driver Hukami Ram. In this accident, 05 persons sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Narjeev, I/O PS Rampur.

2.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 127/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 08.09.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of  Sh. Bharat Sood S/o Lt. Sh. R.C. Sood R/o Shiv Niwas, Bhattakufar, Dhalli, Shimla alleging therein that on 08.09.2017 at about 03-05 PM, one vehicle No. HP03C-0190, which was on the way towards Nav Bahar from Sanjauli, came rashly with negligent driving and hit his daughter and run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Naresh, I/O PP Sanjauli, Shimla. 

3.    A CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION: Case FIR No. 164/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 08.09.2017 U/S 323 506 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Mahender Singh S/o Sh. Heera Singh R/o Village Gadala PO Balag, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 08.09.2017, he went to Shirguli (Deha) in his Truck No. HP51A-0791 in c/w to load the apples. He parked his truck at Shirguli on road side. At about 09-00 AM, one Maruti Car No. HP09C-1450 stopped near his truck and four persons Sonu, Vinod, Mast Ram alongwith an unknown person came out from the above car and beaten him brutally and threatened with dire consequences.

4.    A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 165/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 08.09.2017 U/S 420, 468, 471 IPC on the complaint of HC Naresh Kumar, Posted at Police Line Kaithu Shimla alleging therein that he is deputed for traffic regulation and checking of vehicle during apple season at Apple Control Centre at Fagu. On 08.09.2017 at about 10-15 AM, one Truck (Trala) No. PB-13AR-9207, driven by Kuldeep Singh S/o Sh. Ajeet Singh R/o House No. 23, Part no. 1, Village & PO Masheegan, Tehsil & Distt. Patiala, Punjab, loaded with 735 apple boxes, stopped by them for checking. During checking of documents, he found that the Chassis No. mentioned in RC and Body of truck, does not matched with each-other. Above truck driver has prepared a forgery documents with the intention of cheating.

5.    USED CRIMINAL FORCE TO DETER PUBLIC SERVANT DISCHARGE HIS DUTY: Case FIR No. 128/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli today on 09.09.2017 U/S 353, 430, 506, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Vijay Kumar Justa, Baildar Gram Panchayat Patgehar, Dhalli, Shimla alleging therein that in the evening of 31.08.2017, Junior Engineer, I&PH Deptt. Koti directed him to connect the water pipe line of Sh. Jogender Singh at village Talo. On 01.09.2017 at about 10-00 AM, he alongwith Prakash (Water Guard) went to the spot. As they started to connect the pipe line, at the same time Sh. Rama Nand, Sh. Medh Ram & Sh. Tara Dutt reached there & opposed them to connect the pipe lines and obstructed them during discharge their govt. duty. The case is being investigated by ASI Joginder Singh, I/O PS Dhalli.   

6.    During last 24 hours 343 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 130 & fine realized Rs. 64,700/-, 16 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 1,600/- and 02 Challaned under Mining Act.     

INQUEST REPORT

1.     On 08.09.2017 at about 09-45 PM, Deceased Sharwan Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Munni Lal R/o Balmiki Mohalla Gate Jalandhar, Punjab, age 48 years, who was working as sweeper in Ritz Cinema, Shimla, has been died due to fell down from Gallery/ Balcony of Ritz Cinema. He was immediately brought to IGMC Shimla, where doctor declared him brought dead. Further legal proceeding are going on.  

FOLLOW-UP

1. Accused i) Lucky Thakur S/o  Veerpal Thakur  R/o Parsa PO Lowerkoti Teh Rohru  age 19 years and ii) Aman @ Rohit S/o Surender Singh R/o VPO Giltari Tehsil Jubbal Distt Shimla age 21 yrs has been arrested in case FIR No. 98/17 dated 30.08.17 u/s 341, 323, 307, 506, 34 IPC at PS Rohru remanded in police custody upto 11.09.2017, by the Ld. Court
2. Accused 1) Parvej Akhtar S/o Muhmad Iqbal R/o Ward No.02 near Kotibani Koti Chalog Distt. Kathuaa J&K age 21 years, 2) Muhamad Arshad S/o Shaukat Ali R/o Ward No. 5 Vill Surjan PO & Tehsil Bani Distt. Kathua J&K age 25 years, arrested in case FIR No. 163/17 Dt. 08.09.2017 U/S 379 IPC at PS Theog, are remanded in Police Custody upto 11.09.2017, by the Ld. Court.
