Crime Report on April 27, 2017

1. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 45/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 27.04.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Mohan Guleria, I/O PS Kumarsain alleging therein that today on 27.04.2017 at about 11-00 AM, during patrolling alongwith staff at Narkanda Bazar, he recovered 12 bottles of illicit English liquor marka Officer Choice from the possession of  Bharat Bhandari S/o Sh Krishana Bhandari Vill Daharan PO Dhata Chowk Nepali A/P  residing at Village & PO Narkanda Tehsil Kumarsain. The case is being investigated by ASI Mohan Guleria I/C PP Narkanda, Kumarsain.

2. AN ACCIDENT:  Case FIR No. 31/17 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 26.04.2017 U/S 279, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Roshan Lal S/o lt. Sh. Shoju Ram R/o Village & PO Mashnoo, Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that 26.04.2017 at about 06-30 PM, one vehicle No. HP-03(T)-4275 (Alto 800) on the way from Dobi towards Mashnoo,  met with an accident near Maghara due to rash & negligence driving of Ashok Kumar S/o Sh. Maan Chand R/o Village & PO Mashnoo, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla and rolled down approx. 300 meter from the road and died on the spot. The case is being investigated by SI Sher Singh, I/O PS Jhakri.

3. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 62/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West today on 27.04.2017 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Lal Chand S/o Sh. Ram Singh R/o Village Rakh, Teshil Nalagarh, Distt. Solan, age 25 years  alleging therein that today on 27.04.2017, he alongwith his friend Rajesh was coming to Shimla in his Motorcycle No. HP-12-9678. At about 11-35 AM, when  they reached near Taradevi Mour, at the same time one Bolero Camper No. PB-06V-2121 came rashly with negligent driving and hit his Motorcycle, sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder Kumar, I/O PS Shimla West.

4. During last 24 hours 240 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 141 & fine realized Rs. 42,100/- and 55 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 5,650/-.    

   FOLLOW-UP:         

1. Accused Sarfraj S/o Sh. Ekram R/o House No. 780, Muhalla Gujrawada, Tehsil Devband, Distt. Sarahanpur, UP, age 30 years, arrested in case FIR No. 59/17 Dt. 24.04.2017 U/S 352, 379, 511 IPC at PS Dhalli, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.

2. Accused Kishori Lal S/o Sh. Manu Ram R/o Village & PO Jaghori, Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla, age 34 years arrested in case FIR No. 82/17 Dt. 25.04.2017 U/S 363, 366A IPC at PS Rampur, is remanded in police custody upto 29.04.2017, by the Ld. Court.   

3. Accused Deepak Sood S/o Sh. Sunil Kumar Sood R/o Village Chaitanya Appartment, Block-B, Flat no. 3,4 Airport Road, Totu Shimla, age 20 years arrested in case FIR No. 60/17 Dt. 363, 366, 376 IPC & 4 POCSO Act at PS West, is being produced before Ld. Court.
