Crime Report on April 11, 2017

1.  A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 59/17 has been registered at PS Shimla East on 10.04.2017 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act  on the rukka of ASI Hem Raj, I/O PS Shimla East alleging therein that on 10.04.2017 at about 02-30 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff,  one person namely Vishal S/o Sh. Prem Singh R/o Village Kunchh, PO Basadhar, Tehsil & PS Theog, Distt. Shimla, age 19 years intercepted by them on the road leading towards Navbahar from Himfed Petrol Pump and recovered 30 Tablets of NITROSUN-10 (Restricted Medicines) from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Hem Raj, I/O PS Shimla East.

2. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 54/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 10.04.2017 U/S 18-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Dharam Singh, I/O PS Dhalli, Shimla alleging therein that on 10.04.2017 at about 09-30 PM, during Nakabandi alongwith staff on NH-5 near Hassan Valley (Chhrabra) one Motorcycle No. UP-11AH-6189 alongwith rider namely Sahib Singh S/o Sh. Malkhan Singh R/o Padampur, PO Rijola, PS Usait, Tehsil Dataganj, Distt. Bandayu, UP, age 61 years, stopped by them for checking  and recovered 2Kg. Opium from his possession. The case is being investigated by Si Dharam Singh, I/O PS Dhalli.

3. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 31/17 has been registered at PS Sunni on 10.04.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Shiv Kumar, I/O PS Sunni, Shimla alleging therein on 10.04.2017 at about 05-05 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff at Ghaini Bifurcation near Badmain, one person namely Dharm Prakash S/o Sh. Nokh Ram R/o Village Jubbad, PO Durgapur, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla, age 39 years apprehended by them alongwith 08 Bottles of illicit English liquor marka Green Label(.) The case is being investigated by ASI Shiv Kumar, I/O PS Sunni, Shimla.

4. RIOTING: Case FIR No. 41/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 10.04.2017 U/S 147 149 341 323 427 504 IPC on the statement of Smt. Poonam Sharma W/o Sh. Suresh Sharma R/o Village Machoti PO Jagothi, Tehsil Rohru,  Shimla alleging therein that on 10.04.2017 at about 10-30 AM, Kushal Dutt, his wife, daughters of Sh. Pyare Dutt, alongwith two another persons obstructed his way & beaten him brutally and also broken the glasses of this vehicle. The case is being investigated by HC Rohit Bhardwaj, I/C PP Jangla (Chirgaon).

5. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 53/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West today on 11.04.2017 U/S 279 IPC on the application of Sh. Hardev Kumar S/o Sh. Jagdish Chand R/o Village Chhayog, PO Kohbag, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 08.04.2017, he was going to home. When they reached near 103 Tunnel, at the same time a Bus No. HP-63-7200 driven by Bhupender Kumar, came rashly in wrong direction and hit his car. The case is being investigated by ASI Dev Raj, I/O PS West. 

6. A HOUSE TRESPASS: Case FIR No. 70/17 has been registered at PS Rampur on today 11.04.2017 U/S 452,323,34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Subhash Chansd S/O Sh. Chunu Ram R/o Vill. Khanewali PO Devnagar  Tehsil Ramur Distt. Shimla HP alleging therein that  today on dated 11.04.2017 at about 03.30 AM, Kanshi Ram & Hari Ram alongwith their family members  criminally tress passed in house and beaten him brutally.  The case is being investigated by HC Yoginder Singh I/O PS Rampur Bsr.

7. During last 24 hours 667 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 393 & fine realized Rs. 1,30,800/- and 104 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 10,800/-.

1. Accused Rajender Singh @Raju @ Vishal S/o Sh. Jagdish Singh R/o Village Bhaleta Geora, PS Nurpur, Distt. Kangra, age 27 years, arrested in case FIR No. 56/17 on 20.03.2017 U/S 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC at PS Sadar today remanded in Judicial Custody by the Ld. Court.    

2. Accused Surender Singh @ Chhinda S/o Sh. Avtar Singh R/o Village Jafarpur, PO Bagvedi, Tehsil & Distt. Patiala, Punjab, Age 30 years, arrested in case FIR No. 199/16 U/S 407 IPC at PS Dhalli, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.

3. Accused Tareef S/o Sh. Umar Mohd. R/o Village Rosyaka PO, Tehsil & PS Kama Distt. Bharatpur, Rajasthan, age 25 years, ii) Sakir S/o Sh. Harun R/o Village Indana PO Shingar Tehsil Ponhana Distt. Mewat, Haryana, age 26 years & iii) Amarjeet  S/o Sh. Mani Ram R/o Village & PO Ahroli Tehsil Lalganj, PO Bardan Distt. Ajamgarh, UP, age 44 years, arrested in case FIR No. 03/17 U/S 407, 120B, 34 IPC at PS Jubbal, is remanded in Police custody upto 12.04.2017 by the Ld. Court.

4. Accused Vishal S/o Sh. Prem Singh R/o Village Kunchh, PO Basadhar, Tehsil & PS Theog, Distt. Shimla, age 19 years arrested in case FIR No. 59/17 Dt. 10.04.2017 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS East, is remanded in Police custody upto 12.04.2017, by the Ld. Court.

5. Accused Sahib Singh S/o Sh. Malkhan Singh R/o Padampur, PO Rijola, PS Usait, Tehsil Dataganj, Distt. Bandayu, UP, age 61 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 54/17 Dt. 10.04.2017 U/S 18-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, is remanded in Police custody upto 12.04.2017, by the Ld. Court.
