Crime Report on April 17, 2017

1. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 55/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli today on 17.04.2017 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Dhalli on the rukka of HC Naresh Kumar, I/O PP Sanjauli, Shimla alleging therein that on 16.04.2017 at about 09-00 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Abhishek @ Anku S/o Sh. Rajender Tanwar R/o Village Namhol, PO Kunihar, Tehsil Arki, Distt. Solan A/P Maan House, Set No. 7, Shankli, Shimla, age 22 years intercepted by them near Tibetan Colony Nav Bahar, Shimla and recovered 540 Tablets of Nitrosun (R)-10 (Restricted Medicines) from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Naresh Kumar, I/O PP Sanjauli Shimla.

2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 25 /17 has been registered at PS Chopal on 16.04.2017 U/S 279 IPC on the statement of Sh. Yajvendra Verma S/o Sh. Kewal Ram Verma R/o Village Ghorna, PO Deha, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 16.04.2017 at about 01-45 PM, he is coming to his home from Haripurdhar in his vehicle No. HP-09C-0870. At about 01-45, when he reached near Tikli Nala (Lalpani), a Bus No. HP-71-2008, driven by Bilam Chauhan came rashly with negligent driving and collide with his vehicle. The case is being investigated by HC Naresh Kumar, I/O PS Chopal. 

3. During last 24 hours 141 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 75 & fine realized Rs. 23,900/- and 48 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 5,000/-.

   FOLLOW-UP:      

1. Accused Karan Kumar S/o Sh. Narayan Chand R/o Village Devdhar, PO Nevali,  Tehsil & Distt. Kullu, HP, age 24 years arrested in case FIR No. 54/17 Dt. 12.04.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS West, today remanded in judicial Custody by the Ld. Court. 

2. Accused Ajay Kumar S/O Sh. Vijay Kumar R/o Vill. Dakolar PO Shingla Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla age 22 years, arrested in case FIR No. 71/17 Dt. 14.04.2017 U/S 379,511,34 IPC at PS Rampur, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.

3. Accused Vikram Singh S/o sh. Virender Pal R/o  at present  wz 49 Budhella village Vikaspuri New delhi age 25 has been  arrested  in case FIR No 40/17 Dated 18-03-17 U/S 420, 120B IPC PS New Shimla  is remanded in police custody up to 22.04.2017, by the Ld. Court.

4. Accused Daleep Singh @ Deepu S/o sh. Tek Chand R/o VPO Bhutti, Tehsil Kumarsain, Distt Shimla, age 34 has been  arrested  in case FIR No 41/17 Dated 10-04-17 U/S 379 IPC PS Kumarsain  is on Police remand upto 18.04.2017.

5. Accused Abhishek @ Anku S/o Sh. Rajender Tanwar R/o Village Namhol, PO Kunihar, Tehsil Arki, Distt. Solan A/P Maan House, Set No. 7, Shankli, Shimla, age 22 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 55/17 Dt. 17.04.2017 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, is being produced before Ld. Court.
