AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 22/17 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 06.03.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the ruka of SI Sunder Singh, SHO PS Jubbal, Shimla alleging therein that on 01.04.2017 at about 08-00 PM, during patrolling/ Traffic checking alongwith staff near Anti, at about 08-00 PM one vehicle No. HP-33T-9288, coming from Kuddu side stopped by them for checking and recovered 13 Boxes of Country liquor marka Himachal Orange from the vehicle under the possession of driver Diwan Singh R/o Village & PO Kanthli, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla. The case is being investigated by SI Sunder Singh, SHO PS Jubbal.
Case FIR No. 46/17 Dt. 01.04.17 U/S 302 IPC PS West has been registered on the rukka of Insp. Munish Chauhan, SHO PS West alleging therein that on 01.04.2017, Brig. Lalit Kumar, NCC Group Commander Shimla informed at Police Station that one male decomposed dead body is lying in the jungle near Hotel Angan at ISBT Shimla. On this information, he alongwith staff reached on the spot and found that a dead body of male person, age about 25/30 years, Ht. 5'6", wearing dark blue jeans, black T-shirt, Blac & Red Jacket is lying in the forest. A tag/lace was found tied on the neck of the body and one end of that tag/lace was tied with a stick. On the inspection of the spot/body, it seems that some unknown person has killed him and thrown his dead body in the jungle. The case is being investigated by SI Munish Chauhan, SHO PS West.
AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 15/17 has been registered at PS Nerwa today on 02.04.2017 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Mukhtiyar Ali S/o Mohd. Shafi R/o Village Kayarla, PO Kedi, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla alleging therein that today on 02.04.2017, he alongwith his wife Julekh, Daughter Aasiya, Mohd. Yusuf, Mohd. Mansa, Ismayal S/o Javed, age 11 years, Santosh Pandit & Mithlesh ware going to Kumbra from Nerwa in Bolero Camper No. HP-35-3495. At about 10-55 AM, when they reached near PWD Rest House Nerwa, above vehicle met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Mohd. Akram and rolled down from the road. In this accident driver Mohd. Akram has been died and other persons sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamlender Singh, I/O PS Nerwa.
AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 65/17 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 02.04.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Badish S/o Sh. Sh. Noor Ahmad R/o Village & PO Khaneri Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that today on 02.04.2017 at about 12-20 AM, one vehicle No. HP-06A-7816, which was on the way towards Rampur from Jeori, met with an accident near MG MSC Khaneri due to rash & negligent driving of car driver Surender Singh S/o Sh. M.R. Thakur R/o Village Chandpur, PO Kartot, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by SI Ganga Dev, I/O PS Rampur.
A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN: Case FIR No. 63/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 01.04.2017 U/S 341 323 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Kali Ram S/o Sh. Bal Bahadur R/o Village Dhaman, PO Devathi, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 01.04.2017, he is was going to his village in his motorcycle. On the way near Lailupul, one Rajesh S/o Sh. Om Prakash Rp Village Nehra, Tehsil Theog, Shimla alongwith his three friends obstructed his way by stopped his Vehicle No. HP-09C-0598 in front of his Motorcycle and beaten him brutally. The case is being investigated by ASI Sunil Kumar, I/O PS Theog.
USED CRIMINAL FORCE TO DETER PUBLIC SERVANT DISCHARGE HIS DUTY: Case FIR No. 44/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 01.04.2017 U/S 353 332 IPC on the report of Sh. Sagar Singh S/o Sh. Sharad Singh R/o Village & PO Dhanag, Tehsil Baijnath, Distt. Kangra, HP A/P Driver in HRTC Unit-2 Shimla alleging therein that on 31.03.2017, he was on route duty from Shimla to Balain. On 01.04.2017 at about 05-52AM, when he alongwith Bus Conductor were cleaning the Bus, Anil R/o Village Balain come there & kept his luggage on Bonnet. He requested from Anil for not to keep the luggage on the Bonnet. On this, Anil Kumar scuffle with him during discharge his govt. duty and torn up his dress. The case is being investigated by HC Janam Dev, I/O PS Jutogh, Shimla.
A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 45/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 01.04.2017 U/S 454 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Nishant Chaudhary S/o Sh. C.L. Chaudhary R/o Chaudhary Niwas, Airport Road, Lower Totu, Shimla alleging therein that on 31.03.2017, some unknown person has stolen away 2 Laptops, 1 Mobile, 1 Camera, 1 Music Player from the room, first floor of his house. The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PP Jutogh, Shimla.
A THEFT: Case FIR No. 37/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 01.04.2017 U/S 279 427 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ramesh Kumar Dogra S/o Lt. Sh. Twarku Ram R/o Village Danaut, PO Dhar, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla A/P Posted as A.O. in LIC office, Rampur alleging therein that on 31.01.2017, he alongwith his wife went to his in law's house at Village Titri (Kirati) and parked his Car No. HP-63B-1467, beside the road at Titri curve. On 01.04.2017, when they coming back near his Car and found that some unknown person has broken the driver side glass of his car and stolen away one Stereo with Video player, one Micromax Mobile, gents garments and some daily needs articles from the car. The case is being investigated by HC Ram Sain, I/O PS Kumarsain.
A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN: Case FIR No. 23/17 has been registered at PS Jubbal today on 02.04.2017 U/S 341 323 504 IPC on the statement of Sh. Rajesh Kumar S/o Sh. Dhanpat R/o Village & PO Sarahan, Tehsil Nirmand, Distt. Kullu A/p Site Engineer in ACNC Sawara-Kuddu Hydel Project, Jubbal alleging therein that one Nepali person Gore Lal S/O Kalu Ram R/O Vill. Pakha Pani PO & Distt. Rolpa Anchal Rapti Nepal came to Adit-1 and obstructed his way. He started to abuse him and also beaten him brutally. The case is being investigated by HC Gurchetan Singh, I/O PP Sarswati Nagar.
During last 24 hours 358 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 139 & fine realized Rs. 63,100/- and 74 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 7,400/-

Accused i) Rinku S/o Sh Krishan Singh R/o Kanda Tehsil Kumarsain Distt Shimla & ii) Sahil Sain S/o Sh. Dalbeer Singh R/o village Giora, Tehsil & PS Nurpur, Distt. Kangra, age 26, arrested in case FIR No. 56/17 on 20.03.2017 U/S 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC at PS Sadar, are remanded in police custody upto 05.04.2017, by the Ld. Court.
Accused i) Govinda S/o Sh. Nokh Ram R/o Village Shakrodi, PO Chaba, Tehsil Sunni, Distt. Shimla, age 24 years and ii) Jitender Verma S/o Sh. Pritam Singh R/o Village Bayal, PO Koyal, Tehsil Nirmand, Distt. Kullu, age 19 years, arrested in case FIR No. 63/17 Dt. 01.04.2017 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar, are remanded in police custody upto 03.04.2017, by the Ld. Court.
Accused Shiv Dayal S/o Sh. Kanda Nand R/o Village Dhar, PO Dhargaura, Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla, age 30 years, arrested in case FIR No. 32/17 Dt. 29.03.2017 U/S 454 380 IPC at PS Jhakri, is further remanded in police custody upto 03.04.2017 by the Ld. Court.
