Crime Report on April 20, 2017

1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No 66/17 has been registered at PS East on 19.04.2017 U/S  20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Ramesh I/O PS East alleging therein that on 19.04.2017 he was on patrolling  along with staff towards Vikas Nagar, Kasumpti and Panthaghati. When they  reached at Panthaghati and intercepted a person for namely  Ramesh Chand  S/o Sh Lacchi Ram R/o Pulwahal Tehsil Chopal Distric Shimla and recovered 37 gram Charas from his possession . Accused has been arrested and case is being investigated  by  HC Ramesh I/O PS East.

2. An Excise Act case FIR 43/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 19.04.2017 U/S 39(1)A HP Excise Act on the rukka of inspector Santosh Kumar SHO PS Kumarsain alleging therein that on 19.04.2017, on the secret information he alongwith staff raided in the house of Inder Dev Kainthla S/o Sh. Shyama Nand village Kachinghatti Tehsil Kumarsain Distt  Shimla and recovered 30 boxes of country liquor and 20 boxes of Beer from his possession. The case is being investigated by Inspector  Santosh Kumar SHO PS Kumarsain.

3. An Accident case FIR No  76/17 has been registered at PS Rampur on 19.04.2017 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Nawang Dhille S/o Sh. Gatuk VPO Shalkhar Teh Pooh Distt Kinnaur HP alleging therein that on  19.04.2017 at about 11AM when he and his mother were Crossing the NH-05 near MGMSC Khaneri suddenly one vehicle No. HP26A-1347 I-10 came rashly from Rampur side and hit his mother and she sustained injuries.  This Accident happened due to rash & negligent driving of  Rakesh Kumar S/o Sh. Saran Dass R/O Vill. Badhal Po Jeori Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP .The case is being investigated by HC Sushil Kumar I/O TTR Rampur. 4. An Accident case FIR No 70/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 20.04.2017 U/S 279, 337 IPC and 187 MV Act on the rukka of ASI Purushotam Chand I/C PP Chailla alleging therein that on 20.04.2017 a vehicle No HP 09A 3003 Santro met with an accident at Shilli Mod (Curve) in which Jagdish Kalta sustained injuries. this accident happened due to rash and negligent driving of Jagdish Kalta R/o village Badog P/o Mahori Tehsil Theog. The case is being investigated by ASI Purushotam Chand I/C PP Chailla

5. An Accident case FIR No 27/17 has been registered at PS Jubbal 20.04.2017 U/S 279,337 IPC ON the statement of Sh. Chunni Lal S/o Late Sh Parmi R/o Chebri Tehsil Jubbal Distt Shimla against  alleging there in that today on dated 20.04.2017 at about 9:00 AM a vehicle No HP 10-7888 driven by Himanshu S/o Raj Kumar R/o village Ravin Tehsil Jubbal Distt Shimla, came rashly with negligent driving and hit his son Robin, age 9 year near co-oprative Bank, sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Kartar Singh, I/O PP S/Nagar.

6. During last 24 hours 372 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 133 & fine realized Rs. 39,100/- and 48 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 4,800/-.    

   INQUEST REPORT

1. Deceased Avtar Singh S/o Sh. Swaran Singh R/o Village Beetan, Tehsil & PS Haroli, Distt. Una and presently residing with his in-law's at village Gawass in the jurisdiction of PS Chirgaon,  committed suicide by hanging himself. The dead body is shifted to CH Sadhansu for further legal proceeding.

2. Deceased Sukhvinder S/o Lt. Sh. Puran Chand R/o near Gabrial Hotel, Mashobra, Shimla, age 32 years found dead near Khula More (Curve) due to fell dawn, in the jurisdiction of PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla. After autopsy at IGMC Shimla, dead body handed over to his relative for cremation.

   FOLLOW-UP:      

1. Accused Vikram Singh S/o sh. Virender Pal R/o  at present  49 Budhella village Vikaspuri New Delhi age 25 has been  arrested  in case FIR No 40/17 Dated 18-03-17 U/S 420, 120B IPC PS New Shimla  is remanded in police custody up to 22.04.2017, by the Ld. Court.

2. Accused Abhishek @ Anku S/o Sh. Rajender Tanwar R/o Village Namhol, PO Kunihar, Tehsil Arki, Distt. Solan A/P Maan House, Set No. 7, Shankli, Shimla, age 22 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 55/17 Dt. 17.04.2017 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, today remanded in judicial custody by the Ld. Court.

3. Accused Akhil Lahot S/O Sh. Satish Kumar  age 22 years R/O House No 6, Block B -1, Type 2, Yarrows Villa Choura Maidan Shimla arrested in case Fir No 35/17 Dt.28-2-17 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS New Shimla is remanded in police custody upto 22.04.2017, by the Ld. Court.  

4. Accused Ramesh Chand  S/o Sh Lacchi Ram R/o Pulwahal Tehsil Chopal Distric Shimla arrested in case FIR No 66/17 on 19.04.2017 U/S  20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS East, is remanded in police custody upto 21.04.2017, by the Ld. Court.
