Crime Report on April, 22, 2017

1. AN UNLAWFUL ASSEMBLY: Case FIR No. 59/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 21.04.2017 U/S 341, 143 IPC on the rukka of ASI Mohan Lal, I/O PP Jutog, Shimla alleging therein that local people of Totu area, some of them were Vijender Mehra, Charanjeet Singh, Rajeev Gupta, Amit Chauhan, Diwakar etc. assembled at Totu Chowk by shouting slogans against I&PH and MC Shimla for non-supply of drinking water for the last many days in Totu area and blocked the traffic. The case is being investigated by ASI Mohan Lal, I/O PP Jutog.  

2. A HOUSE TRESPASS: Case FIR No. 36/17 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 21.04.2017 U/S 452, 323, 342, 147, 506 IPC on the report of Imtiaz S/o Sh. Sher Mohd. R/o Village Neel, PO Parender, PS Ramsu, Tehsil & Distt. Samhan, J&K A/P working as labourer with Contractor Satish Kumar Dharla alleging therein that on21.04.2017 at about 08-30 AM, one person namely Pawan Kumar alongwith his 5/6 friends come to his quarter and beaten him brutally. They have also locked him inside the room and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Gopal Singh, I/O PP Ghanvi, Jhakri.

3. A FOREST ACT: Case FIR No. 71/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 21.04.2017 U/S 379, 34 IPC & 33 The Indian Forest Act on the complaint of Forest Guard, Kotkhai Beat on 21.04.2017 at about 04-00 PM, she received an information five Kashmiri labourer were illegally cutting the trees in the forest area at Chambi Kufar. On this information, she went to the spot and detained one Shabeer Ahamad S/o Sh. Shamshdeen R/o Village Danoi, PO Bani, Distt. Khatua, J&K, age 22 years and recovered 41 logs from the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Ranjeet Singh, I/O PS Kotkhai.

4. AN ACCIDENT ACT : Case FIR No 67/17 has been registered at PS Sadar on 22.04.2017 U/S 279, 337 IPC, & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh Khushi Ram verma S/o Sh Narsingh Dutt R/o village Beludhar P/o Khneudh Tehsil Karsog Distt Mandi alleging therein that on 24.04.2017 a vehicle NO DL-CW-1166 hit him when he was going towards Chotta Shimla. in this accident he sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Man Dass I/O PS Sadar.   

5. During last 24 hours 370 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 142 & fine realized Rs. 47,000/- and 86 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 9,050/-.    

   FOLLOW-UP:         

1. Accused Vikram Singh S/o sh. Virender Pal R/o  at present  49 Budhella village Vikaspuri New Delhi age 25 has been  arrested  in case FIR No 40/17 Dated 18-03-17 U/S 420, 120B IPC PS New Shimla  released on bail, by the Ld. Court.

2. Accused Akhil Lahot S/O Sh. Satish Kumar  age 22 years R/O House No 6, Block B -1, Type 2, Yarrows Villa Choura Maidan Shimla arrested in case Fir No 35/17 Dt.28-2-17 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS New Shimla is remanded in judicial custody, by the Ld. Court. 

3. Accused Ramesh Chand  S/o Sh Lacchi Ram R/o Pulwahal Tehsil Chopal Distric Shimla arrested in case FIR No 66/17 on 19.04.2017 U/S  20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS East, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.

4. Accused Shabeer Ahmed S/o Shmshudeen R/o Danoi P/o Bani Distt. Khatua J&K age 22 year arrested in case FIR No 71/17 dated 21.04.2017 U/S 33 IF act and 379,34 IPC at Police Station Kotkhai. is being produced before Ld court, tomorrow.
