AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No 75/17 has been registered at PS Rampur on 18.04.2017 U/S 279,337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the complaint of Sh. Shuram Lal Sharma S/o Sh. Sadh Ram R/O Village Nehra PO Bahali Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that 18.04.2017, his Son Ashish was going towards G.B.P.M Degree College Rampur on foot. At about 09:20 AM, when he reached near SBI ATM Rampur at the same time one Alto K10 car came rashly & after hitting his son run away from the spot, caused sustained injuries to his son. The case has been registered and is being investigated by HC Shashi Bhushan, I/O P.P City Rampur.
AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 55/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West today on 19.04.2017 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ramesh Kumar S/o Sh. Ratti Ram R/o Village Sangledi, PO Brhampukhar, Tehsil Sadar, Distt. Bilaspur alleging therein that today on 19.04.2017, he was going towards Chail from Brhampukhar in his vehicle No. HP-24C-7001. At about 05-00 AM, when he reached at Okhlia near Bhagra Building, at the same time one Motorcycle No. HP-11A-1221 came rashly in wrong direction and hit with his car. The case is being investigated by HC Yog Raj, I/O PP Dhami, Shimla.
A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 56/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West today on 19.04.2017 U/S 420, 120B IPC on the complaint of Smt. Kanchan lata D/o Sh. Balak Ram Dogra R/o Suraj Niwas, Himral Niwas, Lower Cemetery Road, Sanjauli Shimla alleging therein that one person namely Dev Kumar, who is known to her, told her that Smt. Shanti Devi R/o Shoghi, Shimla has need of money and want to sold her land at Shoghi. On 29.12.2015, land deal finalized between them worth Rs. 8 lacs, for which she paid Rs. 3 lacs in advance and remaining amount i.e. Rs. 5 lacs decided to be given after the registration of land. Now both persons, Dev Kumar & Smt. Shanti Devi neither met with her, nor attend her phone call. Thereafter she came to know from Patwar Circle Anandpur that above both persons have cheated her by shown govt. land. The case is being investigated by ASI Pratap Singh, I/O PS West, Shimla.
A DAMAGE TO PUBLIC PROPERTY & CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION: Case FIR No. 57/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 19.04.17 U/S 506 IPC & 3 PDPP Act on the complaint of Dr. Naresh Verma, A/P Asstt. Professor, Public Administration in Govt. Degree College, Kotshera, Shimla alleging therein that on 12.04.2017, some college students have organized programme in the College Hall without getting any permission from College Authority and broken the 50 chairs and glasses of Bathroom. On 17.04.2017, when they were asking from the students, they become aggressive and threatened Dr. Meera Chauhan & Superintendent of college, with dire consequences. Today on 19.04.2017, one student namely Shiven Kumar S/o Sh. Tilak Raj misbehaved with him. The case is being investigated by HC Laiq Ram, I/O PS West, Shimla.
AN ACCIDENT: Today on 19.04.2017 at about 11-00 AM, a Private Bus No. UK-16PA-0045 (Uttrakhand State), which was on the way from Vikas Nagar to Teoni, met with an accident near Gumma in the jurisdiction of PS Nerwa & rolled down into Tons River. 46 Passengers were boarded in the bus, out of which 44 passengers reported to be died on the spot. Two persons including Bus Conductor survived himself by jumping from the bus. Some dead bodies are identify as i) Chandan Singh S/o Sh. Sadhu, ii) Radha D/o Sadhu, iii) Ajab Singh S/o Sh. Kuvi, iv) Rajesh S/o Sh. Daulat, v) Ramesh S/o Sh. Hari Chand, vi) Punnu S/o Sh. Shukroo, vii) Ritwik S/o Sh. Chandan Singh, viii) Ankush, ix) Sumitra W/o Sh. Nand Kishore, x) Kartikeya W/o Sh. Kangra Singh, xi) Sarana ChauhanS/o Sh. Budhi Singh, xii) Nand Kishore S/o Sh. Maya Ram xiii) Shankutla W/o Sh. Sonu, xiv) Sohan S/o Sh. Chhatru Ram, xv) Divya W/o Sh. Sonu, xvi) Promila xvii) Virender S/o Sh. Jawan Dass. Rescue operation is going on.
During last 24 hours 528 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 192 & fine realized Rs. 56,100/- and 102 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 10,200/-.

Accused Vikram Singh S/o sh. Virender Pal R/o at present wz 49 Budhella village Vikaspuri New delhi age 25 has been arrested in case FIR No 40/17 Dated 18-03-17 U/S 420, 120B IPC PS New Shimla is remanded in police custody up to 22.04.2017, by the Ld. Court.
Accused Abhishek @ Anku S/o Sh. Rajender Tanwar R/o Village Namhol, PO Kunihar, Tehsil Arki, Distt. Solan A/P Maan House, Set No. 7, Shankli, Shimla, age 22 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 55/17 Dt. 17.04.2017 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, is remanded in Police Custody upto 20.04.2017, by the Ld. Court.
