Crime Report on April 24, 2017

1. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 68/17 has been registered at PS Shimla East on 23.04.2017 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of  ASI Om Prakash, I/O PS Shimla East alleging therein that on 23.04.2017 at about 06-00 PM, during patrolling/traffic checking alongwith staff,   one person namely Anil Sharma S/o Sh. Devi Chand Sharma R/o Village Khadau, PO Ghanahatti, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, age 22 years intercepted by them near Navbahar link Road and recovered 29 Tablets of Nitrosun-10 (Restricted Medicine) from  his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Om Prakash, I/O PS Shimla East. 

2. AN ACCIDENT:  Case FIR No  35/17 has been registered at PS Sunni today on 24.04.2017 U/S 279, 304A  IPC on the rukka  of ASI Shiv Kumar I/O PS Sunni  alleging therein that on 23.04.2017 at about 08-15 PM,  a Tipper No. HP-63A-0422 met with an accident near Kandola Tehsil Sunni due to rash & negligent driving of Reva Dass S/o Lt. Sh. Narotam Ram R/o Village Kandola, Tehsil Sunni, Distt. Shimla  and rolled down from the road and died on the spot.  The case is being investigated by ASI Shiv Kumar I/O PS Sunni.

3. A TRESPASS: Case FIR No. 58/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 23.04.2017 U/S 448 IPC on the complaint of  Sh. Hardeep Singh, Authorised Representative M/s Indiabulls Housing Finance Limited alleging therein that  two persons namely Rakesh Kumar Banta S/o Late Sh. Atma Ram BantaR/O Set No.2, Top Floor, Khushi Ram Building, Sanjauli Bazar, Shimla-171006 (HP) and Hari Om Sood  S/o Sh. Rewal Chand Sood R/o House No. 19-A Housing Board Colony Kala, District: Panchkula, Haryana have opened the lock by breaking the Seal and forcefully taking illegal possession of the property bearing, Khasra No. 367,368,369,370,373,MAUJA UP MOHAL at Sanjauli Bazar, Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Chander I/O PP Sanjauli.

4. During last 24 hours 173 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 100 & fine realized Rs. 29,200/- and 32 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 3,200/-.    

   FOLLOW-UP:         

1. Accused Shabeer Ahmed S/o Shmshudeen R/o Danoi P/o Bani Distt. Khatua J&K age 22 year arrested in case FIR No 71/17 Dt. 21.04.2017 U/S 33 IF act and 379,34 IPC at PS Kotkhai, is remanded in Police Custody upto 25.04.2017, by the Ld. Court.

2. Accused Anil Sharma S/o Sh. Devi Chand Sharma R/o Village Khadau, PO Ghanahatti, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, age 22 years, arrested in case FIR No. 68/17 Dt. 23.04.2017 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Shimla East, is remanded in police custody upto 26.04.2017, by the Ld. Court.
