Crime Report on April 26, 2017

1. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 28/17 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 25.04.2017 U/S 279 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ramesh Kumar S/o Sh. Bal Krishan R/o Village Chobri, PO Kansakoti, Tehsil Rohru, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 20.02.2017 at about 05-10 PM, a Truck  No. HP-63-177 driven by Devinder Singh S/o Sh. Ran Singh R/o Village Tikker Khatreh, Tehsil Bhoranj, Distt. Hamirpurt, came rashly with negligence driving  at hit with his Alto Car  near Hotkoti Kainchi. The case is being investigated by HC Kartar Singh, I/O PP Sarswati Nagar.

2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 61/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West today on 26.04.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the rukka of HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PP Jutogh, Shimla alleging therein that on 25.04.2017 at about 10-05 PM, one Alto Car No. HP-62-1476 met with an accident near Power House Totu  & rolled down 300 meter from the road due to rash & negligence driving of Jeet Singh, sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PP Jutogh, Shimla.

3. During last 24 hours 668 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 410 & fine realized Rs. 1,43,200/- and 156 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 15,900/-.    

   INQUEST REPORT:

1. Deceased Kumar S/o Bhim Bahadur R/o Village Kiasho PO Seema Tehsil & Distt. Rukkum Mashikot, Anchal Rapti, Nepal A/P Mangat Ram Building near Mandi Bhattakufar, Shimla, age 21 years has committed suicide by hanging himself  at Fruit Mandi Bhattakufar in the jurisdiction of PS Dhalli. The dead body is shifted to IGMC Shimla for further leagal proceeding.

   FOLLOW-UP:         

1. Accused Anil Sharma S/o Sh. Devi Chand Sharma R/o Village Khadau, PO Ghanahatti, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, age 22 years, arrested in case FIR No. 68/17 Dt. 23.04.2017 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Shimla East, is remanded in police custody upto 26.04.2017, by the Ld. Court. 

2. Accused Sarfraj S/o Sh. Ekram R/o House No. 780, Muhalla Gujrawada, Tehsil Devband, Distt. Sarahanpur, UP, age 30 years, arrested in case FIR No. 59/17 Dt. 24.04.2017 U/S 352, 379, 500 IPC at PS Dhalli, is remanded in Police custody upto 27.04.2017, by the Ld. Court.

3. Accused Kishori Lal S/o Sh. Manu Ram R/o Village & PO Jaghori, Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla, age 34 years arrested in case FIR No. 82/17 Dt. 25.04.2017 U/S 363, 366A IPC at PS Rampur, is remanded in police custody upto 29.04.2017, by the Ld. Court.
