Crime Report on April 25, 2017

  1. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 45/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 24.04.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Kuldeep Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that on 24.04.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Kehar Singh S/o Sh. Sukh Chain R/o Village Shestwari, Tehsil Chirgaon apprehended by them alongwith 10 Bottles of illegal Country liquor. The case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon.

  2. A GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No. 72/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 24.04.2017 U/S 13-3-67 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of HC Tulsi Ram, I/O PS Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that on 24.04.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff, three person namely Pharukh, Rajesh & Sultan caught red handed during playing gambling in public place  near Kokunala and recovered Rs. 4,830/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Tulsi Ram Sharma, I/O PS Kotkhai.

  3. CAUSING DEATH DUE TO NEGLIGENCE ACT: Case FIR No 81/17 has been registered at PS Rampur on 24.04.2017 U/S 223, 304A, 34 IPC on the rukka of Insp/SHO PS Rampur alleging therein that on 24.04.2017, Accused Dharam Singh S/o Sh. Jeet Singh R/o Village Thanang, PO Sungra, Tehsil Nichar, Distt. Kinnaur, arrested in Case FIR No. 32/17 U/S 457, 380 IPC at PS Bhabanagar, Kinnaur was being brought to village Racholi (Rampur) for the recovery of stolen articles in above case by HC Mandn Lal, Ct. Manoj & Ct. Hem Kumar (PS Bhabanagar). At about 04-50 PM, when they reached near Safed Dhank on NH-5, above accused pushed them and jumped into the River and died on the spot.  The case is being investigating by Insp/SHO Sanjeev Kumar PS Rampur.

  4. A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 72/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 24.04.2017 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Geeta Ram S/o Sh. Bala Nand R/o Village Sunper, PO Shillaroo, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that one person namely Girish has exchanged his ATM card and withdraw Rs. 32,000/- from his account. The case is being investigated by ASI Lachhi Ram, I/C PP Matiana.  

  5. A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN:  Case FIR No. 36/17 has been registered at PS Sunni on 24.04.2017 U/S 341,323,34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Tara Chand S/o Lt. Sh. Khayali Ram R/o Village Palag, PO Kadardhat, Tehsil Sunni, Distt. Shimla, age 49 years alleging therein that on 23.04.2017, he was coming to home from Luhri. At about 11-00 PM, when he reached at HP PWD Store near Kothi, at the same time an unknown person obstructed his way and beaten him brutally. The case is being investigated by ASI Shiv Kumar, I/O PS Sunni.   

  6. A FIRE INCIDENT: Case FIR No. 68/17 has been registered at PS Sadar today on 25.04.2017 U/S 285, 427, 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Habib Khan S/o Sh. Khalil Khan R/o Chiniyagun, PO Doru, Distt. Anantnag, J&K A/P Labour Hostel, Lakkar Bazar, Shimla alleging therein that today on 25.04.2017 at about 11-15 AM, a fire broke out in Timber shop/office of Sh. Raman Sood & spread nearby shop. Due to fire, lots of timber materials has been destroyed. The case is being investigated by HC Amar Dutt, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar.  

  7. During last 24 hours 362 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 177 & fine realized Rs. 62,600/- and 59 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 5,900/-.    

    FOLLOW-UP:         

  1. Accused Shabeer Ahmed S/o Shmshudeen R/o Danoi P/o Bani Distt. Khatua J&K age 22 year arrested in case FIR No 71/17 Dt. 21.04.2017 U/S 33 IF act and 379,34 IPC at PS Kotkhai, today released on bail by the Ld. court.

  2. Accused Anil Sharma S/o Sh. Devi Chand Sharma R/o Village Khadau, PO Ghanahatti, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, age 22 years, arrested in case FIR No. 68/17 Dt. 23.04.2017 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Shimla East, is remanded in police custody upto 26.04.2017, by the Ld. Court. 

  3. Accused Sarfraj S/o Sh. Ekram R/o House No. 780, Muhalla Gujrawada, Tehsil Devband, Distt. Sarahanpur, UP, age 30 years, arrested in case FIR No. 59/17 Dt. 24.04.2017 U/S 352, 379, 500 IPC at PS Dhalli, is remanded in Police custody upto 27.04.2017, by the Ld. Court.
