Crime Report on April 07, 2017

1. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 25/17 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 06.04.2017 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Sunil Kumar S/o Sh. Parshotam R/o Village Nandaal, PO Dikhyora, Tehsil Badsar, Distt. Hamirpur, HP age 25 years alleging therein that on 06.04.2017 at about 08-20 PM, he was going to Rohru alongwith his father-in-law in his Motorcycle No. HP-21B-3498. When they reached near Bouli Nala (Hatkoti), at the same time an unknown Truck came rashly & hit behind his Motorcycle and run away from the spot. In this accident, his father-in-law Prem Lal died on the spot and he sustained  injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Gurchetan, I/O PP Sarswati Nagar.  

2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 50/17 has been registered at PS West on 07.04.2017 U/S 279 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Naresh Kumar Sharma S/o Sh. Jash Ram Sharma R/o Village Laghog, PO Anji Brahmna, Tehsil Kandaghat, Distt. Solan alleging therein that he is the owner of vehicle No. HP-01S-2155 (Swift Dzire) and attach the above vehicle with HIMFED Shimla. On 06.04.2017, Sh. Nirmal Atri asked him telephonically about his vehicle. On this, he made a call to his driver Sh. Rakesh Kumar S/o Sh. Shyam Lal R/o Village Sakodi Chail, Tehsil Kandaghat, Solan, but his mobile was switched off. On 07.04.2017, during search of the car, he found that the car has been rolled down about 500 feet from the road near Tara Mata Mandir and driver Rakesh Kumar was lying dead near car. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagat Ram, I/O PS West.   

3. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 38/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 07.04.2017 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Mahender Lal S/o Sh. Nand lal R/o Village Prashan PO Teshan Tehsil Kumarsain, Distt. Shimla age 34 years alleging therein that today on 07.04.2017 at about 06-45 AM, one vehicle No. HP-10A-9894 met with an accident near Sainj Chowk due to rash & negligent driving of above car driver & rolled down from the road. In this acceded four persons namely i) Mukesh Thakur S/o Sh. Amar Chand Thakur R/o Village Sarahar, PO Durah, Tehsil Nirmand, Distt. Kullu, age 21 years ii) Ajay Mehtra S/o Sh. Pradeep Mehta age 21 years, iii) Vijay Mehta S/o Sh. Pradeep Mehta, age 23 years (Both) R/o Village Bhalun Kaichi, PO Sungri, PS Rohru, Distt. Shimla and iv) Vicky Chauhan S/o Sh. Harbans Chauhan R/o Village Punam, PO Nankhari, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, Age 25 years sustained injuries.  The case is being investigated by ASI Hem Chand, I/C PP Sainj.  

4. ACT ENDANGERING LIFE OR PERSONAL SAFETY TO OTHER: Case FIR No. 49/17 has been registered at PS West on 06.04.2017 U/S 336 IPC, 8 (B) The National Highway Act & 3 The Prevention to Damage Public Property Act on the statement of Sh. Surjeet Singh Mehta, Asstt. Engineer, National Highway, Dhalli, HP PWD alleging therein that construction work of Parking is being carried out by the M.S A.S. Enterprises Ltd. Chandigarh at Tutikandi Bifurcation, Shimla. On 06.04.2017 at about 04-00 PM, due to negligent digging work of above company, 40% part of National Highway has been slide down, caused danger to life of people and also damaged the public property. The case is being investigated by ASI Amrender Singh, I/O PS West. Shimla.

5. A BURGLARY: Case FIR No 26/17 has been registered at PS Jubbal today on 07.04.2017 U/S 457,380 IPC on the Complaint of Sh. Amit Kumar S/O Sh. Bhagwati Parsad R/O Sarswati Nagar  Tehsil Jubbal Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 06/07.04.2017, some unknown person has stolen away one laptop, 35 Mobile Phones, Bag, some cosmetics articles, readymade clothes and shoes from his shop at Sarswati Nagar. The case is being investigated by ASI Keshav Chand I/C PP Sarswati Nagar.  

6. During last 24 hours 366 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 95 & fine realized Rs. 38,200/- and 61 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 6,100/-

   FOLLOW-UP:        

1. Accused Rajender Singh @Raju @ Vishal S/o Sh. Jagdish Singh R/o Village Bhaleta Geora, PS Nurpur, Distt. Kangra, age 27 years, arrested in case FIR No. 56/17 on 20.03.2017 U/S 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC at PS Sadar is remanded in Police Custody upto 11.04.2017 by the Ld. Court.    

2. Accused Surender Singh @ Chhinda S/o Sh. Avtar Singh R/o Village Jafarpur, PO Bagvedi, Tehsil & Distt. Patiala, Punjab, Age 30 years, arrested in case FIR No. 199/16 U/S 407 IPC at PS Dhalli, is remanded in Police custody upto 08.04.2017, by the Ld. Court.

3. Accused Tareef S/o Sh. Umar Mohd. R/o Village Rosyaka PO, Tehsil & PS Kama Distt. Bharatpur, Rajasthan, age 25 years, arrested in case FIR No. 03/17 U/S 407, 34 IPC at PS Jubbal, is remanded in Police custody upto 10.04.2017 by the Ld. Court.
