Crime Report on February, 10, 2017

1. An Excise Act case FIR No 28/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 09.02.2017 U/S 39(1)(a) Excise Act on the rukka of SI Rajneesh Thakur SHO PS Kotkhai alleging therein that on 09.02.2017 When he was on patrolling along with staff towards Tikkari along with staff. On the way of Tikkari he got secrect information regarding illegal selling of liquor. On this information he raided the house of Pratap Tegta S/o Sh. Het Ram village Tikkari P/o Himri Tehsil Kotkhai Distt Shimla and recovered 852 bottles of Country Liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Rajneesh Thakur SHO PS Kotkhai .

2. An Excise Act case FIR No 14/17 has been registered at PS East on 09.02.2017 U/S 39(1) OF HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Sewa Singh I/C PP Kasumpti alleging therein that on 09.02.2017 he was on patrolling towards Ashwani Khad along with staff. When he reached near Swintha and intercepted a person namely Kamal Kumar S/o Sh Durga Nand R/o Dhagah P/o Beoliaya Tehsil and Distt Shimla and recovered 08 bottles of country liquor from his possession. The acase is being investigated by SI Sewa Singh I/C PP Kasumpti.  

3. An ND&PS Act Case FIR No 20/17 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 09.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the Rukka of SI Kulwant SHO PS Jhakri alleging therein that on 09.02.2017 at about 6-30 PM when he was on patrolling to village Shah. During patrolling, he received secret information that a Person namely Rakesh Kumar S/o Sh. Parmanand R/o Shah was selling charas in his Kiryana shop. On this information, he raided the shop of Rakesh Kumar and recovered 05 grams charas from his his possession. The case is being investigating by SI/SHO PS Jhakri.

4. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No 19/17 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 09.02.2017 U/S 341,323,34 IPC on the application of Sh. Sunil Dutt S/o Sh. Hira Lal R/O village Dhar Gaura Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla HP  alleging therein that  on dated 09-02-2017 at about 01:15 PM when he was coming to Jhakri two persons namely Harish & Bobby R/o Jhakri obstructed his way and beaten him brutally. Due to this incident he sustained injuries. The case is beiong investigated by HHC Daulat Singh  I/O PS Jhakri.

5. During last 24 hours 508 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 237 & fine realized Rs. 63,300/-, 294 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 29,600/- and 02 Challan under Mining Act. Fine collected Rs 3500     

   FOLLOW-UP:

1. Two Accused i) Ashish Nagta S/o Sh. Laxmi Singh Nagta R/o Village Shekhal, PO Dhadi, Rohru, age 28 years & ii) Dinesh Thakur  S/o Sh. Devender Kumar R/o Village Brasli, Kansakoti, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 28 years, arrested in case FIR No. 10/17 Dt. 07.02.2017 U/S 379 511 34 IPC at PS Rohru, sent to judicial  custody by Ld court.  

2. Four Accused namely i) Rojudeen S/o Sufi Saleem, age 26 years ii) Mohd. Umed S/o Mohd. Yusuf, age 24 years iii) Mohd. Rihana S/o Sh. Abdul Rasheed, age 18 years and iv) Chand Mohd. S/o Mohd. Yusuf, age 28 years  all the resident of Mohalla Sahajmal, Kithor Gramin (Merath),arrested in case FIR No. 221/16 Dt. 27.08.2016 U/S 457 380 IPC at PS Sadar, is remanded in police custody upto 13.02.2017, by the trial court.

3. Accused Vinod Kumar S/o Sh. Brij Lal R/o Village Dadu, PO Badoh, Tehsil Bhoranj, Distt. Hamirpur arrested in case FIR No. 19/17 Dt. 09.02.2017 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS West, is remanded in police custody upto 12.02.2017, by the Ld. Court.  

4. Accused Prem Rawat S/o Sh. Veer Bahadur R/o Village Hati Chaunr, Ward No. 1, Anchal Seti, Distt. Bajula, Nepal, arrested today in case FIR No. 29/17 Dt. 09.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Theog. He will be produced before Ld. Court Today.  

5. Accused Rakesh Kumar S/o Sh. Parmanand R/o Shah was selling charas in his Kiryana shop arrested in case FIR No 20/17 Dt. 09.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Jhakri, is being produced before Ld Court Today.
