Crime Report on Feb. 13, 2017

  1. AN ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 30/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 12.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Tulsi Ram No. 72, I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that on 12.02.2017 at about 05-00 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, two persons namely Firdaus  Ahmed S/o Sh. Abdul Ganni R/o Village Batnad, PO Nalopura, Tehsil Kukkarnag, Distt. Anantnag, J&K, intercepted by them at Kotkhai Bus Stand and recovered 4.44 gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Tulsi Ram No.72, I/O PS Kotkhai.

  2. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 12/17 has been registered at PS Sunni today on 13.03.2017 U/S 39(i)(a) HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Tevender Singh, SHO PS Sunni, Shimla alleging therein that on 12.02.2017, he patrolling alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Juni. At about 10-15 PM, on the secret information, they raided in the house of Sh. Maheshi Lal S/o Lt. Sh. Kundan Lal R/o Village & PO Juni, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla and recovered 16 Boxes of Country liquor Makra Santra, Himachal Orange & Una No.1 from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Tevender Kumar, SHO PS Sunni.

  3. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 32/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 12.02.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Daleep Dogra S/o Sh. Roshan Lal R/o Village Daghali, PO Balag, Tehsil Theog, Shimla stated therein that on 12.02.2017 at about 02-10 PM, a Motorcycle No. HP-03C(T)-5600 A/F (Pulsar)  came rashly from Chhaila side and hit an old man who was crossing the road and run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Adarsh, I/O PS Theog.

  4. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 12/17 has been registered at PS Rohru today on 13.02.2017 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Anil Kumar S/o Sh. Gopal Dass R/o Village Kashni, PO Tikker, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that today one Alto Car No. HP-10A-9256 met with an accident at Kashani curve, due to rash & negligent driving of Sanjeev  & rolled down from the road. In this accident 02 persons namely Hem Raj S/o Sh. Rattan Chand R/o Village Narain, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 42 years and Shamu Ram S/o Sh. Jainkru R/o Village Narain, Tehsil Rohru, age 82 years died and 03 persons namely Sanjeev Sharma S/o Lt. Sh. Shyam Lal, age 43 years, Rakesh Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Shyam Lal, age 47 years R/o Village Narain & Narveer Janartha S/o Sh. Bhajan Dass R/o Kashani, Rohru, age 70 years sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Kundan, I/C PP Tikker. 

  5. During last 24 hours 162 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 85 & fine realized Rs. 22,800/-, 156 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 15,550/- and 05 Challan under Mining Act.

    FOLLOW-UP:

  1. Four Accused namely i) Rojudeen S/o Sufi Saleem, age 26 years ii) Mohd. Umed S/o Mohd. Yusuf, age 24 years iii) Mohd. Rihana S/o Sh. Abdul Rasheed, age 18 years and iv) Chand Mohd. S/o Mohd. Yusuf, age 28 years  all the resident of Mohalla Sahajmal, Kithor Gramin (Merath),arrested in case FIR No. 221/16 Dt. 27.08.2016 U/S 457 380 IPC at PS Sadar, today released on bail by the trial court.

  2. Accused Vinod Kumar S/o Sh. Brij Lal R/o Village Dadu, PO Badoh, Tehsil Bhoranj, Distt. Hamirpur arrested in case FIR No. 19/17 Dt. 09.02.2017 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS West, today remanded in judicial custody upto 25.02.2017, by the Ld. Court. 

  3. Accused Prem Bahadur Rawat S/o Sh. Veer Bahadur R/o Village Hati Chaunr, Ward No. 1, Anchal Seti, Distt. Bajula, Nepal, arrested today in case FIR No. 29/17 Dt. 09.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Theog, today remanded in judicial custody by the Ld. Court. 

  4. Two Accused i) Ashish Nagta S/o Sh. Laxmi Singh Nagta R/o Village Shekhal, PO Dhadigansa, Rohru, age 28 years & ii) Dinesh Thakur  S/o Sh. Devender Kumar R/o Village Brasli, Kansakoti, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 28 years, arrested in case FIR No. 11/17 Dt. 05.02.2017 U/S 379 IPC at PS New Shimla, today released on Bail by the trial court.

  5. Accused Pratap Tegta S/o Sh. Het Ram R/o Village Tikkari PO Himri, Tehsil Kotkhai Distt Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 28/17 Dt. 09.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act at PS Kotkhai, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.  

  6. Accused Firdaus  Ahmed S/o Sh. Abdul Ganni R/o Village Batnad, PO Nalopura, Tehsil Kukkarnag, Distt. Anantnag, J&K, arrested in Case FIR No. 30/17 Dt. 12.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Kotkhai, is being produced before Ld. Court.
