AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 14/17 has been registered at PS Sunni today on 21.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Shiv Kumar I/O PS Sunni alleging therein that today on 20.02.2017 at about 09-00PM, during patrolling alonwith staff, one person namely Maheder Singh S/o Sh. Ishwar Singh R/o Village Dargi, PO Sainj, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla, age 45 years intercepted by them near Naggar & recovered 24 Bottles of Country liquor marka Nagpuri Santra from his possession. The case is being investigated ASI Shiv Kumar, I/O PS Sunni.
A PUBLIC GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No 16/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon today on 21.02.2017 U/S 13-3-67 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of HHC Shishi Ram, I/O PS Chirgaon alleging therein that today on 21.02.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff, three persons namely Prithvi Raj, Soni & Lovely apprehended by them during playing gambling in public place near Andhra Power House at Chirgaon and recovered Rs. 3100/- from the spot. Case is being investigated by HHC Shishi Ram.
A PUBLIC GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No 21/17 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 20.02.2017 U/S 3, 4 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of SI Kulwant Singh, SHO PS Jhakri alleging therein that on 20.02.2017 at about 06-00 PM, during patrolling along with staff five persons namely Roop Chand, Rattan Singh, Sanjeev Kumar, Naresh Kumar & Vijay Kumar apprehended by them during playing gambling in 'Chauhan Billiards Snooker' at Sarahan. & recovered Rs.11,300/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by SI Kulwant Singh, SHO PS Jhakri.
A PUBLIC GAMBLING ACT: Case 38/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 21.02.2017 U/S 13-3-67 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of SI Rajneesh Thakur, SHO PS Kotkhai alleging therein that today on 21.02.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff five persons namely Jai Pal, Puritan Singh, Sunil Chauhan, Shasher Singh & Yudhveer apprehended by them during playing gambling in public place at village Devri-Khaneti and recovered Rs. 57,100/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Kotkhai.
A FIRE INCIDENT: Case FIR No. 07/17 has been registered at PS Nerwa on 20.02.2017 U/S 285 IPC on the complaint of Forest Guard, Minakhi-Bajathal Beat alleging therein that on 19.02.2017, due to the negligence act of some unknown person, fire incident took place in Jhalari forest, due to which Cedar & Baan trees in 10 hectare area have been destroyed. The case is being investigated by HC Ramesh Chand, I/O PS Nerwa.
A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 39/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 20.02.2017 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Aakash Verma R/o Village & PO Sainj, Tehsil Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 02.01.2017, one person came to his jewelry shop and purchased jewelry amounting to Rs. 1 lacs and made payment through cheque. When he trying to cash the above check, he came to know that said cheque was not in his name, which was stolen by him of other person. The case is being investigated by SHO PS Theog.
During last 24 hours 421 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 168 & fine realized Rs. 52,020/- , 151 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 15,650/- and 01 Challaned under Mining Act.

Accused (i) Rasheed @ Babru S/o Sh. Musahid and (ii) Munnu S/o Sh. Bajeer Ansari R/o Village Shahjamal, PO Kithor, Tehsil & PS Kithor, Distt. Merath, UP, arrested in case FIR No. 04/17 Dt. 02.01.2017 U/S 457 380 IPC at PS Sadar, further remanded in Police custody upto 26.02.2017 by the Ld. Court.
Accused Pratap Singh R/o Village Mandhol, Tehsil Jubbal, Distt. Shimla, age 51 years, arrested in case FIR No. 39/17 Dt. 19.02.17 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar, is being produced before Ld. Court today.
Accused Kamal Kishore S/o Sh. Munni Lal R/o Village & PO Kau, Tehsil Karsong, Distt. Mandi, age 47 years, arrested in case FIR No. 13/17 Dt. 19.02.2017 U/S 18-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sunni, is remanded in Police custody upto 22.02.2017, by the trial court.
Accused Krishan Chand R/o Village Khaskandi, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 37 years arrested in case FIR No. 15/17 Dt. 19.02.2017 U/S 302 IPC at PS Rohru, today sent to judicial custody by the Ld. Court.
Accused Balkrishan S/o Sh. Sita Ram R/o Village Koti, PO Marog, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, arrested in Case FIR No.12/17 Dt. 19.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Chopal, is on Police remand upto 22.02.2017.
Accused Gautam Vaidya S/o Lt. Sh. Om Prakash R/o House No. 67, Shakuntla Niwas, Sanjauli, Shimla, age 36 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 37/17 Dt. 20.02.2017 U/S 18,20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Kotkhai. is being produced before Ld. Court today.
