Crime Report on Feb. 26, 2017

  1. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 32/17 has been registered at PS East on 25.02.2017 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Anil Kumar No. 11, I/O PS East, Shimla alleging therein that on 25.02.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Abhay Kumar S/o Sh. Rikhi Ram R/o Rikhi Ram Building, Vijay Nagar, BCS Shimla, age 26 years, intercepted by them at Exercise Point, forest Road near Ram Chandera Chowk & recovered 37 Tablets of Nitrosum-10 (Restricted Medicine) from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Anil Kumar No. 11, I/O PS East, Shimla.

  2. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 16/17 has been registered at PS Sunni on 25.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Dilu Ram, I/O PS Sunni, Shimla alleging  therein that on 25.02.2017 at about 08-00 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one vehicle HP-30A-1252 (Tata Sumo) driven by Bhupinder Singh S/o Sh. Sohan Singh R/o Village Daderi, PO Bagshad, Tehsil & PS Karsog, Mandi, age 25 years, stopped by them for checking near village Jamog. During the search of vehicle, he recovered 168 Bottles of Country & 12 Bottles of English liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Dilu Ram, I/O PS Sunni.

  3. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 23/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 25.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Deepak Thakur, I/O PS Dhalli, Shimla alleging therein that on 25.02.2017, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Dewadi Kandu. At about 08-20 PM, on the secret information, they conducted raid in the residence of Uma Dass S/o Sh. Jalma Ram R/o Village Devathi-Khandu, PO Thaila, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla, age 43 years and recovered 24 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No. 1 from his possession.  The case is being investigated by SI Deepak, I/O PS Dhalli.    

  4. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 23/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 25.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Kuldeep Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon alleging therein that on 25.02.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Vasu Dev S/o Lt. Sh. Sadh Ram R/o Village Jitata, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla apprehended by them with 10 Bottles of illicit Country liquor marka Himachal Orange. The case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon.

  5. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 24/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 25.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on  the rukka of ASI Kuldeep Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that on 25.02.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff, he recovered 24 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No. 1 from the possession of Kuldev Chauhan S/o Lt. Sh. Bhagat Ram R/o Village Dhakgaon, PO Masli, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon.

  6. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 25/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon today on 26.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Kuldeep Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon alleging therein that today on 26.02.2017 during patrolling alongwith staff, he recovered 08 Bottles of Country liquor marka Himachal Orange from the possession of Rajwant S/o Sh. Banka Ram R/o Village Khabal Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon.

  7. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No.31/17 has been registered at PS East on 25.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Daleep, I/O PP Kasumpti, Shimla alleging therein that on 25.02.2017 at about 08-40 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Mintu Pandey S/o Sh. Lalsa Pandey A/P Uma Niwas, Lower Panthaghati, Shimla  apprehended by them on the road leading towards Tibetan colony & recovered 07 bottles of illicit Country liquor,. The case is being investigated by ASI Daleep, I/O PP Kasumpti.

  8. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 23/17 has been registered at PS West today on 26.02.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Swarn Singh S/o Sh. Prabhu Ram Thakur R/o Village & PO Galiyan, Tehsil Nadaun, Distt. Hamirpur A/P Driver in Truck No. HP-64-0266, age 57 years alleging therein that on 25.02.2017, he was coming towards Shimla from Chambaghat in his Truck. At about 11-00 PM, when he reached near Goyal Motor Taradevi, at the same time a Truck No. PB-68BU-0482 driven by Lekh Raj, Come rashly in wrong direction and collide with his truck, caused sustained injuries to driver Lekh Raj. The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder, I/O PS West. 

  9. A TRESPASS: Case FIR No. 22/17 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 25.02.2017 u/s 447, 427 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Jeet Ram S/o Sh. Sant Ram R/o Village Snarsa, PO Kartot, Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that he purchased the land in village Fonti under Khasra No. 1148/1 & 1148/2, in the year of 2012 and he planted 200 apple plants on this land. On 25.02.02017, when he visit the above land and found that some unknown person  has cut above apple plants and thrown in the bushes.  He doubts that three persons namely Jia Lal, Dhani Ram & Bhoop Ram have destroyed his apple plants. The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PS Jhakri.

  10. A TRESPASS: Case FIR No. 11/17 has been registered at PS Jubbal today on 26.02.2017 U/S 451 323 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Anup Singh S/o Sh. Roshan Lal R/o Village & PO Jharag, Tehsil Jubbal, Shimla alleging therein that on 25.02.2017 at about 07-30 PM, his brother Ashok Kumar and sister entered in his premises and beaten him brutally, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PS Jubbal. 

  11. During last 24 hours 671 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 437 & fine realized Rs. 1,18,800/- and 193 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 19,700/-.

    INQUEST REPORT:

  1. Today on 26.02.2017, Deceased Yog Raj S/o Lt. Mast Ram R/o Village Mohan, PO Zar, Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla, age about 33/34 years found dead near Swari Nala, in the jurisdiction of PS Kumarsain. The body is being shifted to CH Kumarsain for further legal proceeding.

  1. Accused (i) Rasheed @ Babru S/o Sh. Musahid and (ii) Munnu S/o Sh. Bajeer Ansari R/o Village Shahjamal, PO Kithor, Tehsil & PS Kithor, Distt. Merath, UP, arrested in case FIR No. 04/17 Dt. 02.01.2017 U/S 457 380 IPC at PS Sadar, today remanded in judicial custody upto 10.03.2017 by the Ld. Court.  

  2. Eight Accused namely i) Vikas @ Somu S/o Sh. Prakash Chand R/o Village Beoli, PO Purani Mandi, Tehsil Sadar, Mandi, age 20 years ii) Gullu S/o Sh. Kaulu R/o Village Beoli, PO Purani Mandi, Tehsil Sadar, Mandi, age 27 years iii) Chand S/o Sh. Pawan Kumar R/o Village Sehadi, Chamara, PO Dharampur, Tehsil Kasauli, Distt. Solan, age 25 years iv) Vijay S/o Sh. Goli Ram R/o Village Malhed, PO Ratti, Tehsil Balh, Distt. Mandi, age 24 years v) Sher Singh S/o Sh. Kuk Ram R/o Village Deyargi, PO Atgarh, Tehsil Balh, Distt. Mandi, age 38 years, vi) Rajinder S/o Sh. Billu Ram R/o village Malthed, PO Ratti, Tehsil Balh, Distt. Mandi, age 35 years, vii) Vicky @ Golu S/o Sh. Raj R/o village Malthed, PO Ratti, Tehsil Balh, Distt. Mandi, age 22 years  and viii) Mohd. Ali S/o Sh. Ali Hussain R/o Village Bindhar, PO Grahan, Tehsil & PS Sadar, Mandi, age 29 years, arrested today in Case  FIR No. 22/17 Dt. 20.02.2017 U/S 395 IPC at PS Dhalli, are on police remand upto 27.02.2017.

  3. Accused Jindu Ram S/O Sh. Pandaru Ram R/o Vill. Jhalair PO Sarahan Tehsil Nirmand Distt. Kullu, Age 30 years, arrested in case FIR No. 37/17 Dt. 25.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Rampur, is on Police remand utpo 27.02.2017.

  4. Accused Abhay Kumar S/o Sh. Rikhi Ram R/o Rikhi Ram Building, Vijay Nagar, BCS Shimla, age 26 years, arrested in case FIR No. 32/17 Dt. 25.05.2017 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS East, is remanded in Police custody upto 28.02.2017, by trial court.
