Crime Report On 01, February 2017

1. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 12/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli today on 01.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Dhalli on the rukka of HC Lalit No. 241, I/O PS Dhalli, Shimla alleging therein that today on 01.02.2017 at about 01-30 AM, during patrolling alongwith staff towards Mashobra Bifurcation, one person namely Sunil Kumar @ Sunny S/o Sh. Duni Chand R/o Village Chasi, PO Jassal, Tehsil Karsog, Distt. Mandi, age 21 years, intercepted by them and recovered 111.5 gram charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Lalit No. 241, I/O PS Dhalli.

2. AN EXICISE  ACT :case FIR No. 24/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 01.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Roshan Lal I/C PP Baghi alleging therein that on 31.01.2017 at about 9:30 PM When he was on patrolling along with staff towards Chamain ,Kalbog  on secrect informaton he recovered 8 bottles of country liquor Marka Ranger orange from the possession of  Pahal Bhadur S/o Nar Bhadur C/o Sh. Kesar singh Gajta R/o vill nihari PO ratnari Teshil kotkhai Distt ShImla. The case is being investigated by ASI Roshan Lal  I/C PP Baghi.

3. AN EXCISE ACT: case FIR 14/17 has been registered at PS Sadar on 01.02.2017 U/S 39(1)(a)HP Excise Act on the rukka of  Inspector Sanjeev Kumar SHO PS  Sadar alleging therein that today on 01.02.2017 he was on patrolling  along with staff at Subzi Mandi Shimla . During his duty he intercepted a person namely Balbir @Gulli S/o Late Sh Resham Singh R/o quarter No 1 Krishan Nagar Shimla age 41 years  and recovered 12 bottles of country liquor from his possession . The case is being investigated by Inspector Sanjeev Kumar SHO PS Sadar.

4. A GRIEVOUS: Case FIR No. 13/17 has been registered at PS Sadar on 31.01.2017 U/S 325 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Sukhveer Singh S/o Sh. Sawroop Singh R/o Almont Villa, Upper Kaithu,  Shimla, age 23 years alleging therein that on 03.01.2017, he alongwith his friends was visiting Mall Road Shimla. When they reached near Baljeej  Restaurant, one person namely Japreet beaten him brutally, sustained injuries to him. He was medically examined at DDU Shimla and on 31.01.2017, final opinion has been received, in  which Medical Officer given grievous injury to him. The case is being investigated by HC Mahender, I/O PS Sadar.

5. CAUSING HURT BY DANGEROUS WEAPON: Case FIR No. 08/17 has been registered at PS East on 31.01.2017 U/S 323 324 34 IPC on the application of Sh. Jitender Kumar S/o Sh. Thisu Ram R/o Village Diswani (Tikker) PO Kaloti, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein  that he was driving a Bus No. HP-63-1721 and on 31.01.2017 at about 05-40 PM, when he reached at Panthaghati, at the same time one person namely Minku, driver in Bus No. 9500 alongwith driver Tinku, beaten him brutally with blunt weapon,  sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by ASI Daleep Chand, I/C PP Kasumpti, Shimla. 

6. During last 24 hours 323 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 127 & fine realized Rs. 43,200/- and 164 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 16,700/-.

   INQUEST REPORT:

1. Deceased Vyom Prakash R/o Village Khaniyara, Distt. Kangra, age about 62 years, who was suffering from throat cancer and undergoing treatment at IGMC Shimla, found dead in the Rain Shelter near CTO The Mall Shimla. The body was shifted to IGMC Shimla for further legal proceeding. 

   FOLLOW-UP:

1. Accused Krishan @ Shiva S/o Sh. Govind R/o Madrasi Colony, Ram Nagar, Karnal, Haryana, age 26 years, arrested in case FIR No. 10/17 Dt. 29.01.2017 U/S 20,21-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar, is remanded in police custody upto 02.02.2017 by the Ld. Court.

2. Accused Rajkumar @ Raju S/o Sh. Pratap Singh R/o Village Bhui PO Chhaila, Teshil Theog, Shimla age 48 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 20/17 has been registered at PS Theog, Shimla on 30.01.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act & 39 HP Excise Act at PS Theog, is being produced before Ld Court today. 

3. Accused i) Shabbir Ahmad Khan S/o Sh. Gulzar Ahmad Khan R/o Naropura, PO &  Tehsil Kukarnag, Distt. Anantnag, J&K, age 22 years A/P Baba Building Krishna Nagar, Shimla ii) Karam Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Surender Singh R/o Shimlasu, PO Dhanakpur, Paurigharwal, Uttra Khand, age 22 years A/P P-51 Building, Room No. 13, Nabha House, Shimla & iii) Himanshu S/o Sh. Raj Kumar R/o House No. 12, Kachcha Makaan, near Lal Kothi, Phagli, Shimla, age 20 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 08/17 Dt. 25.01.2017 U/S 323,342,392,427,34 IPC at PS Dhalli. are remanded in police custody upto 02.02.2017 by the Ld. court.

4. Accused Lakhan S/o Sh. Nirmal Kumar R/o House No. 3, near Veterinary Hospital, Cart Road Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 11/17 Dt. 31.01.2017 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, is remanded in police custody upto 02.02.2017 by the Ld. court.

5. Accused Sunil Kumar @ Sunny S/o Sh. Duni Chand R/o Village Chasi, PO Jassal, Tehsil Karsog, Distt. Mandi, age 21 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 12/17 Dt. 01.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli.
