A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 40/17 has been registered at PS Sadar on 22.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Lachhmi Ram, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla alleging therein that today on 22.02.2017 at about 04-30 AM, during night patrolling checking, one person namely Balbir Bhandari S/o Sh. Hari Singh R/o Village Telangi, PO Recongpeo, Tehsil Kalpa, Distt. Kinnaur, age 40 years, intercepted by them at Old Bus Stand Shimla & recovered 150 gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Lachhami Ram, I/O PS Sadar.
A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 18/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 22.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Pawan Singh, I/O PS Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that today on 22.02.2017 at about 10-30 AM, during patrolling alongwith staff, he recovered 10.65 gram Charas from the possession of Shiv Chand S/o Sh. Amar Singh R/o Village Chilala, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla. The case is being investigated by HC Pawan Singh, I/O PS Chirgaon.
A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 39/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 22.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Vipin Kumar, I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that today on 22.02.2017, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Gumma. On the secret information, they raided in the Tea Stall cum Sweet Shop at Gumma Bazar of Labh Singh S/o Sh. Munshi Ram R/o Village & PO Dehar, Tehsil Sunder Nagar Distt. Mandi, age 40 years and recovered 15.15 gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Vipin Kumar, I/O PS Kotkhai.
AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 17/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 21.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Munish Raj Sharma, SHO PS Chirgaon alleging therein that during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Shiv Dev S/o Sh. Banka Ram R/o Village Bishali, PO Chhaila, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla apprehended by them with 24 Bottles of illicit Country liquor marka Patiyala Rasbhary. The case is being investigated by SI Munish Raj, SHO PS Chirgaon.
AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 08/17 has been registered at PS Nerwa today on 22.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of Insp. Narender Singh, SHO PS Nerwa, Shimla alleging therein today on 22.02.2017, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Shawaladhar. On the secret information, he raided in the residence of Rama Nand S/o Sh. Nikka Ram R/o Village & PO Ruslah, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla and recovered 07 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Narender Singh, SHO PS Nerwa.
AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 40/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 21.02.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Smt. Vidya Devi W/o Lt. Sh. Jia Lal Verma R/o Village Gadakufar, PO Kelvi, Tehsil Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 21.02.2017, she alongwith her grand-son Rahul was going to home from Shimla in vehicle No. HP-09B-1018, driven by her son Mukesh Verma. At abouve 04-15 PM, when they reached near Circuit House, at the same time one vehicle No. HP-62C-2605 driven by Smt. Asha Chauhan, came rashly in wrong direction and collide with his vehicle, caused sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by HC Ashok Kumar, I/O PS Theog.
During last 24 hours 440 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 149 & fine realized Rs. 51,100/- and 147 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 15,100/-.
INQUEST REPORT:
Today on 22.02.2017, Deceased Bhagat Ram S/O Sh. Mani Ram R/O Village Naltu PO Basantpur Tehsil Sunni Distt Shimla A/P T-Mate (HPSEBL) Kumar House Shimla-4, Age 45 years, found dead on the railway track in between ITI & HP University. During preliminary enquiry, it seems that deceased had died due to fall in a ditch, caused sustained injuries to him. After autopsy, body has been handed over to his relative for cremation.

Accused Kamal Kishore S/o Sh. Munni Lal R/o Village & PO Kau, Tehsil Karsong, Distt. Mandi, age 47 years, arrested in case FIR No. 13/17 Dt. 19.02.2017 U/S 18-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sunni, is being produced before Ld. Court.
Accused Balkrishan S/o Sh. Sita Ram R/o Village Koti, PO Marog, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, arrested in Case FIR No.12/17 Dt. 19.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Chopal, today released on bail by Trial Court.
Accused Gautam Vaidya S/o Lt. Sh. Om Prakash R/o House No. 67, Shakuntla Niwas, Sanjauli, Shimla, age 36 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 37/17 Dt. 20.02.2017 U/S 18,20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Kotkhai. is being produced before Ld. Court today.
Accused Labh Singh S/o Sh. Munshi Ram R/o Village & PO Dehar, Tehsil Sunder Nagar Distt. Mandi, age 40 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 39/17 Dt. 22.02.17 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Kotkhai. He will be produced before Ld. Court tomorrow.
