A ND&PS Act: Case FIR No. 14/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 16.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Deepak No. 03, I/O PS Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that on 16.02.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Sain Ram S/o Sh. Durga Singh R/o Village Thana, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla intercepted by them & recovered 10.10 gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Deepak No. 3, I/O PS Chirgaon.
A ND&PS Act: Case FIR No. 15/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 16.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Munish Raj Sharma, SHO PS Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that on 16.02.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Uttam Sain S/o Sh. Devi Saran Singh R/o Village Amboi, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla intercepted by them & recovered 52.40 gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Munish Raj Sharma, SHO PS Chirgaon.
AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 21/17 has been registered at PS East on 16.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Daleep Chand, I/O PP Kasumpti Shimla alleging therein that on 16.02.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff at about 05-30 PM, one person namely Karm Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Dhyan Singh R/o Village Oavtali PO Anandpur, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, age 60 years, intercepted by them near Salanj (Byepass Road Shoghi) and recovered 12 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No. 1 from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Daleep Chand, I/O PP Kasumpti Shimla.
AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 22/07 has been registered at PS East on 16.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Om Prakash, I/O PS East, Shimla alleging therein that on 16.02.2017 at about 07-15 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Chet Ram S/o Sh. Bhuru Ram R/o Village Kot, PO Sadhupul, Distt. Shimla, age 45 years intercepted by them near Shiv Puri (Kanlog) & recovered 12 Bottles of Country liquor marka Himachal Orange from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Om Prakash, I/O PS East.
AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 23/17 has been registered at PS East today on 17.02.2017 U/S 39(i)(a) HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Hem Raj, I/O PS East Shimla stated therein that today on 17.02.2017 at about 06-20 AM, during patrolling alongwith staff one person namely Nitin Sharma S/o Lt. Sh. Madho Ram R/o Village & PO Beolia, Shimla, age 23 years apprehended by them near Shiv Mandir, Lower Panthaghati and recovered 11 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Hem Raj, I/O PS East.
AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 20/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli today on 17.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Ram Singh, I/O PS Dhalli, Shimla alleging therein that on 16.02.2017, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Chharabra. At about 10-00 PM, on the secret information, they raided in the shop of Rattan Chand S/o Lt. Sh. Sai Ram Ro Village Shilon Bag, PO Mundaghat, Tehsil Shimla and recovered 60 Bottles of Country liquor marka Himachal Orange, 57 Bottles of Raseela Santra (for sale in Chandigarh), 18 Bottles of English liquor marka Master Blend & 08 Bottles of Royal Stag (Total 143 Bottles) from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Singh, I/O PS Dhalli.
AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 34/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 16.02.2017 U/S 279 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Vishal Joli S/o Lt. Sh. Sukh Dev Joli R/o House No. 353, Sec.-11, Panchkula Haryana A/P Contractor with C&C Company, Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that on 16.02.2017 at about 04-30PM, one self loading Mixture Machine No. A/F met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Karan Singh S/o Sh. Jagdev Singh R/o Village Vehatapalar, Jori, Tehsil Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh & fell some 300 meter from the road near Lambidhar. In this accident driver Karan Singh died on the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Rafique Mohd. I/O PS Kotkhai.
A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 35/17 has been registered at PS Theog today on 17.02.2017 U/S 457 380 IPC on the application of Sh. Jeet Singh R/o Village Kaleend, PO Lafughati, Tehsil Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 16/17.02.2017, some unknown person has broken the door lock of his room and stolen away cash Rs. 8000/- from the Box. The case is being investigated by HC Sanjeev, I/O PS Theog.
A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN: Case FIR No. 19/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 17.02.2017 U/S 341 323 34 IPC on the complaint of Surjeet Dogra S/o Lt. Sh. Anant Ram Dogra R/o Village Kyara, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 16.02.2017, he was going to his village Jamouli Kyara from Narkanda in his Alto Car No. HP-09B-6426. At about 08-00 PM, as he reached at Sunpur, one persons namely Nippi S/o Sh. Prabhu Dyal R/o Village Regdu alongwith his friends obstructed his way & beaten him brutally. The case is being investigated by HC Dev Raj, I/O PP Narkanda.
During last 24 hours 437 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 185 & fine realized Rs. 49,800/-, 298 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 21,900/-.
FOLLOW-UP:
Accused Uttam Sain S/o Sh. Devi Saran Singh R/o Village Amboi, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 15/17 Dt. 16.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Chirgaon, is remanded in Police custody upto 18.02.2017, by the Ld. Court.
Accused (i) Rasheed @ Babru S/o Sh. Musahid and (ii) Munnu S/o Sh. Bajeer Ansari R/o Village Shahjamal, PO Kithor, Tehsil & PS Kithor, Distt. Merath, UP, arrested in case FIR No. 04/17 Dt. 02.01.2017 U/S 457 380 IPC at PS Sadar, are remanded in police custody upto 20.02.2017 by the Ld. Court.
Accused Rattan Chand S/o Lt. Sh. Sai Ram Ro Village Shilon Bag, PO Mundaghat, Tehsil Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 20/17 Dt. 17.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act at PS Dhalli, is being produced before Ld. Court.
