Crime Report on Feb. 27, 2016

  1. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No 33/17 has been registered at PS East on 26.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act  on the rukka of ASI Tenzin Chhering, I/C PAR Vikas Nagar, Shimla alleging therein that today on 26.02.2017 at about 05.30 PM, during patrolling along with staff, one persons namely Virender Singh S/o Sh. Rann Singh R/o Village & PO Korag, Tehsil Renuka, Distt. Sirmaur, HP A/P Rana General Store, Vikas Nagar, Shimla, intercepted by them near Swarn Pool Cassel, Vikas Nagar and recovered 20 gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Tenzin Chhering, I/C PAR Vikas Nagar, Shimla.

  2. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No 35/17 has been registered at PS East Dt. 26.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Prem Singh, I/O PS East, Shimla alleging therein that today on 26.02.2017 at about 09.45 PM, during patrolling along with staff, one persons namely Tota Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Sadhu Ram R/o Village Rakanee, PO Billadi, Tehsil Karsog, Distt. Mandi, HP, intercepted by them near Nav Bahar and recovered 403 gram Charas from his possession. Accused has been arrested by the police & the case is being investigated by ASI Prem Singh, I/O PS East, Shimla.

  3. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No 36/17 has been registered at PS East today on 27.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act  on the rukka of ASI Daleep Chand, I/O PP Kasumpti, Shimla alleging therein that on 26/27.02.2017 at about 12.10 AM, during patrolling along with staff, one Nano Car No. HP-33E(T)-9472 alongwith driver namely Lalit Kumar S/o Sh. Tara Chand R/o Village Prgagali, PO Balindi, Tehsil & PS Karsog, Distt. Mandi, age 33 years, intercepted by them near Shakrala and recovered 319 gram Charas from his possession. Accused has been arrested by the police & the case is being investigated by ASI Daleep Chand, I/O PP Kasumpti.

  4. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 34/17 has been registered at PS East on 26.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Prem Singh, I/O PS East Shimla alleging therein that on 26.02.2017 at about 06-00 PM, on the secret information, he alongwith staff conducted raid at PWD Store/dhara  of Smt. Ram Kali near Himfed Petrol Pump & recovered 21 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No. 1, from her possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Prem Singh, I/O PS East.

  5. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 24/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 26.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Deepak Thakur, I/O PS Dhalli, Shimla alleging therein that on 26.02.2017, on the secret information, he alongwith staff conducted raid in the Dhara of Madan Ghurti S/o Sh. Ranveer Ghurti R/o Village & PO Navgaon, PS Liwang, Distt. Rolpa, Nepal A/P Dhara near Verma Colony, Chalaunthi, Sanjauli Shimla and recovered 24 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No. 1, from his possession. The case is being investigated SI Deepak Thakur, I/O PS Dhalli, Shimla.

  6. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 44/17 has been registered at PS Sadar on 26.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Lachhmi Singh, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla alleging therein that on 26.02.2017 at about 10-45 PM, one person namely Goldy S/o Sh. Sadhak Ram R/o Dhara near Labour Hostel, Krishna Nagar, Shimla, age 36 years, apprehended by them near Subji Mandi Shimla and recovered 12 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No. 1, from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Lachhmi Singh, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla.

  7. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 26/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 26.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Munish Raj Sharma, SHO PS Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that on 26.02.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Baldev Singh S/o Sh. Ishwar Dass R/o Village & PO Chirgaon, Shimla apprehended by them alongwith 23 Bottles of illicit Country liquor. The case is being investigated by SI Munish Raj Sharma, SHO PS Chirgaon, Shimla.

  8. A PUBLIC GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No. 27/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 26.02.2017 U/S 13-3-67 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of HC Deepak Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon, Shimla, during patrolling alongwith staff, four persons namely Vishal, Krishan Jinta, Lokinder & Ram Sain , apprehended by them during playing gambling at public place and recovered Rs. 3,300/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Deepak Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon.

  9. A PUBLIC GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No. 28/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 27.02.2017 U/S 13-3-67 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of HHC Shishi Ram, I/O PS Chirgaon alleging therein that today on 27.02.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff, three persons namely Gulbar Singh, Jishan Lal, Lekh Raj apprehended by them during playing gambling in public place near Limbra and recovered Rs. 1200/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by HHC Shishi Ram, I/O PS Chirgaon.  

  10. A PUBLIC GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No. 29/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon today on 27.02.2017 U/S 13-3-67 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of HC Pawan Singh, I/O PS Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that today on  27.02.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff four persons namely Sanjeev Chauhan, Niraj Kumar, Diwan Singh, Balwan Singh apprehended by them during playing gambling in public place near Thana and recovered Rs. 2,400/- from the spot. Case is being investigated by HC Pawan Singh No. 62

  11. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 12/17 has been registered PS Jubbal on 26.02.2017 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the rukka of HC Gurchetan, I/O PS Sarswati Nagar, Jubbal alleging therein that on 26.02.2017, one Maruti Car No. CH-03U-2840 met with an accident at Ghatti ghar near Nandpur due to rash & negligent driving of Devender Rulta S/o Sh. Bishan Dass R/o Village Shilar, PO Nandpur, Tehsi, Jubbal, Shimla. In this accident, Sundari Devi W/o Sh. Inder Vikram, age 59 years died on the way to hospital and two others Devender Rulta & his wife Sunita Devi sustained injuries.  The case is being investigated by HC Gurchetan, I/O PS Sarswati Nagar, Jubbal.

  12. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 23/17 has been registered at PS Jhakri today on 27.02.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Chandi Ram S/o Sh. Laiq Ram R/o Village Batati, PO Kartot, Tehsil Rampur Shimla alleging therein that on 26.02.2017, he alongwith Chaman Lal & Mahender Singh were going towards Batao from Gaura in vehicle No. HP-06-3235 (SX4) driven by Mahender Singh. At about 09-00 PM, when they reached at Dhargaura, above vehicle met with an accident & rolled down from the road due to negligence driving of Mahender Singh. In this accident, they all sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PS Jhakri.

  13. During last 24 hours 171 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 84 & fine realized Rs. 26,300/-, 102 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 10,600/- and 02 Challaned under Mining Act & Fine Realized Rs. 17,500/-.

Kaulu R/o Village Beoli, PO Purani Mandi, Tehsil Sadar, Mandi, age 27 years iii) Chand S/o Sh. Pawan Kumar R/o Village Sehadi, Chamara, PO Dharampur, Tehsil Kasauli, Distt. Solan, age 25 years iv) Vijay S/o Sh. Goli Ram R/o Village Malhed, PO Ratti, Tehsil Balh, Distt. Mandi, age 24 years v) Sher Singh S/o Sh. Kuk Ram R/o Village Deyargi, PO Atgarh, Tehsil Balh, Distt. Mandi, age 38 years, vi) Rajinder S/o Sh. Billu Ram R/o village Malthed, PO Ratti, Tehsil Balh, Distt. Mandi, age 35 years, vii) Vicky @ Golu S/o Sh. Raj R/o village Malthed, PO Ratti, Tehsil Balh, Distt. Mandi, age 22 years  and viii) Mohd. Ali S/o Sh. Ali Hussain R/o Village Bindhar, PO Grahan, Tehsil & PS Sadar, Mandi, age 29 years, arrested today in Case  FIR No. 22/17 Dt. 20.02.2017 U/S 395 IPC at PS Dhalli, further remanded in Police custody upto 01.03.2017, by the Ld. Court.

  2. Accused Jindu Ram S/O Sh. Pandaru Ram R/o Vill. Jhalair PO Sarahan Tehsil Nirmand Distt. Kullu, Age 30 years, arrested in case FIR No. 37/17 Dt. 25.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Rampur, is on Police remand utpo 27.02.2017.

  3. Accused Abhay Kumar S/o Sh. Rikhi Ram R/o Rikhi Ram Building, Vijay Nagar, BCS Shimla, age 26 years, arrested in case FIR No. 32/17 Dt. 25.05.2017 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS East, is remanded in Police custody upto 28.02.2017, by trial court.  

  4. One lady accused arrested in case FIR No. 43/17 Dt. 25.02.2017 U/S 4(2), 5 The  Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act at PS Sadar, is remanded in Police Custody upto 01.03.2017, by the Ld. Court.

  5. Accused Virender Singh S/o Sh. Rann Singh R/o Village & PO Korag, Tehsil Renuka, Distt. Sirmaur, HP A/P Rana General Store, Vikas Nagar, Shimla, arrested in Case FIR No. 33/17 Dt. 26.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS East, is remanded in Police custody upto 01.03.2017, by the Ld. Court.

  6. Accused Tota Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Sadhu Ram R/o Village Rakanee, PO Billadi, Tehsil Karsog, Distt. Mandi, HP, arrested in case FIR No. 35/17 Dt. 27.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS East, is remanded in Police custody upto 01.03.2017, by the Ld. Court.

  7. Accused Lalit Kumar S/o Sh. Tara Chand R/o Village Prgagali, PO Balindi, Tehsil & PS Karsog, Distt. Mandi, age 33 years, arrested in case FIR No. 36/17 Dt. 27.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS East, is remanded in Police custody upto 01.03.2017, by the Ld. Court.
