Crime Report on Feb. 28, 2017

  1. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No 19/17 has been registered at PS Rohru on 27.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Gopal Singh, I/O PS Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that today on 27.02.2017, during patrolling along with staff, one persons namely Vinay Kumar S/o Sh. Lal Dass R/o Village Bhunt, PO Jagothi, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 34 years, intercepted by them and recovered 183.83 gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Gopal Singh, I/O PS Rohru.

  2. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No 37/17 has been registered at PS Shimla East on 27.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act  on the rukka of HC Parul Nainta, I/O PS Shimla East, alleging therein that on 27.02.2017 at about 09.20 PM, during patrolling along with staff, one persons namely Sagar Thakur S/o Sh. Ajeet Singh (Nepali) A/P Village Neen, PO Koti, Sub. Tehsil Junga, Shimla, age 24 years, intercepted by them and recovered 37 gram Charas from his possession. Accused has been arrested by the police & the case is being investigated by HC Parul Nainta, I/O PS Shimla East.

  3. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 25/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 27.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act has been registered on the rukka of HC Rakesh Kumar, I/O PS Kumarsain, Shimla alleging therein that on 27.02.2017, he alongwith staff was on patrolling/ collection of intelligence regarding illegal trading of drugs towards Singapur. At about 06-30 PM, when they reached at Singapur, one person namely Santosh Kumar @ Anil S/o Lt. Sh. Sher Singh R/o Village & PO Naula, Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla, age 46 years, intercepted by them and recovered 17 gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Rakesh Kumar, I/O PS Kumarsain.

  4. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 35/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon today on 28.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Pawan Singh, I/O PS Chirgaon alleging therein that today on 28.02.2017 at about 09-45 AM, during patrolling alongwith staff one person namely Shurveer  S/o Sh. Daleep Singh R/o Village & PO Khashdhar, Tehsil Chirgaon, Distt. Shimla intercepted by them & recovered 33.40 gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Pawan Singh, I/O PS Chirgaon.

  5. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 38/17 has been registered at PS Shimla East today on 28.02.2017 U/S 18,20-61-85 ND&PS on the rukka of SI Dharam Sain Negi, SHO PS Shimla East alleging therein that today on 28.02.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Karn Singh Nepali S/o Lt. Sh. Jeet Ram R/o C/o Sh. Bhoop Ram R/o Malyana, Shimla, intercepted by them near Nav Bahar, Shimla & recovered 134 gram Opium & 440 gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Dharam Sain Negi, SHO PS Shimla East.

  6. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 30/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 27.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Kuldeep Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon alleging therein that on 27.02.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff, he recovered 06 Bottles of Country liquor from the possession of Pratap Singh S/o Sh. Kalgi Ram R/o Village Haunchali, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon.

  7. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 34/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on the rukka of SI Munish Raj Sharma, SHO PS Chirgaon alleging therein that during patrolling alongwith staff, he recovered 16 Bottles of Country liquor from the possession of Videsh Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Baldev R/o Village Jitata, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla. The case is being investigated by SI Munish Raj Sharma, SHO PS Chirgaon.

  8. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 22/17 has been registered at PS Rohru on 27.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Kundan Lal I/C PP Tikker alleging therein that on 27.02.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Vishal Thakur Nepali S/o Sh. Veer Bahadur A/P working as servant with Rajender Janartha R/o Kashani, PO Pujarli No. 4, Rohru Shimla apprehended by them with 05 litter of illicit liquor (Lahan). The case is being investigated by ASI Kundan Lal, I/C PP Tikker, Rohru.    

  9. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 27/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 27.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Deep Chand, I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that on 27.02.2017 at about 06-30 PM, on the secret information, he alongwith staff conducted raid in the shop of Rajesh Sharma S/o Sh. Dula Ram at village Badech and recovered 02 Nips of Country liquor marka Patiala Rasbhari from his possession. The case is being investigated  by ASI Deep Chand, I/O PS Kotkhai.    

  10. A PUBLIC GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No. 20/17 has been registered at PS Rohru on 27.02.2017 U/S 13-3-67 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of HC Vijay Kumar, I/O PS Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that on 27.02.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff, three persons namely Pradeep, Hem Raj & Kulwant apprehended by them during playing gambling in public place at Didighad near Nitu Petrol Pump Rohru and recovered Rs. 2,120/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Vijay Kumar, I/O PS Rohru.

  11. A PUBLIC GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No. 29/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 27.02.2017 U/S 13-3-67 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of HC Pawan Singh, I/O PS Chirgaon alleging therein that during patrolling along with staff four persons namely Sanjeev Chauhan, Niraj Kumar, Diwan Singh & Balwan Singh apprehended by them during playing gambling in public place near Thana and recovered Rs. 2,400/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Pawan Singh, I/O PS Chirgaon.

  12. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR  No. 21 has been registered at PS Rohru on 27.02.20174 U/S  279, 337, 304A IPC  on the statement of Sh. Laiq Ram S/o Sh. Karam Singh R/o Village Bashala PO Arhal Tehsil Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that on 27.02.2017, one Maruti Car No HP-10A-5996 met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Shakti  & rolled down about 200 feet into Gudsu Nala near Bashala. In this accident, three persons namely Shakti S/o Sh. Dalip Singh R/o Saras Tehsil Rohru age 28 year and Ajay Gill S/o Sher Singh R/o Village Bashla Tehsil Rohru age 25 years died on the spot and Boby Gill S/o Sher Singh R/o Bashla has been died died on the way to hospital. The case is being investigated by SI Mohan saini I/O PS Rohru.

  13. During last 24 hours 379 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 127 & fine realized Rs. 36,600/-, 86 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 8,700/-, 02 Challaned under Mining Act & Fine Realized Rs. 17,500/- and 01 Challaned under Mining Act & fine realized Rs. 10,000/-.

Kaulu R/o Village Beoli, PO Purani Mandi, Tehsil Sadar, Mandi, age 27 years iii) Chand S/o Sh. Pawan Kumar R/o Village Sehadi, Chamara, PO Dharampur, Tehsil Kasauli, Distt. Solan, age 25 years iv) Vijay S/o Sh. Goli Ram R/o Village Malhed, PO Ratti, Tehsil Balh, Distt. Mandi, age 24 years v) Sher Singh S/o Sh. Kuk Ram R/o Village Deyargi, PO Atgarh, Tehsil Balh, Distt. Mandi, age 38 years, vi) Rajinder S/o Sh. Billu Ram R/o village Malthed, PO Ratti, Tehsil Balh, Distt. Mandi, age 35 years, vii) Vicky @ Golu S/o Sh. Raj R/o village Malthed, PO Ratti, Tehsil Balh, Distt. Mandi, age 22 years  and viii) Mohd. Ali S/o Sh. Ali Hussain R/o Village Bindhar, PO Grahan, Tehsil & PS Sadar, Mandi, age 29 years, arrested today in Case  FIR No. 22/17 Dt. 20.02.2017 U/S 395 IPC at PS Dhalli, further remanded in Police custody upto 01.03.2017, by the Ld. Court.

  2. Accused Abhay Kumar S/o Sh. Rikhi Ram R/o Rikhi Ram Building, Vijay Nagar, BCS Shimla, age 26 years, arrested in case FIR No. 32/17 Dt. 25.05.2017 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS East, is remanded in judicial custody by trial court.  

  3. Accused Virender Singh S/o Sh. Rann Singh R/o Village & PO Korag, Tehsil Renuka, Distt. Sirmaur, HP A/P Rana General Store, Vikas Nagar, Shimla, arrested in Case FIR No. 33/17 Dt. 26.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS East, is remanded in judicial custody by the Ld. Court.

  4. Accused Tota Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Sadhu Ram R/o Village Rakanee, PO Billadi, Tehsil Karsog, Distt. Mandi, HP, arrested in case FIR No. 35/17 Dt. 27.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS East, is remanded in Police custody upto 01.03.2017, by the Ld. Court.

  5. Accused Lalit Kumar S/o Sh. Tara Chand R/o Village Prgagali, PO Balindi, Tehsil & PS Karsog, Distt. Mandi, age 33 years, arrested in case FIR No. 36/17 Dt. 27.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS East, is remanded in Police custody upto 01.03.2017, by the Ld. Court.

  6. One lady accused arrested in case FIR No. 43/17 Dt. 25.02.2017 U/S 4(2), 5 The  Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act at PS Sadar, is remanded in Police Custody upto 01.03.2017, by the Ld. Court.

  7. Accused Vinay Kumar S/o Sh. Lal Dass R/o Village Bhunt, PO Jagothi, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 34 years, arrested in case FIR No. 19/17 Dt. 27.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Rohru, is on police remand upto 01.03.2017.

  8. Accused Sagar Thakur S/o Sh. Ajeet Singh (Nepali) A/P Village Neen, PO Koti, Sub. Tehsil Junga, Shimla, age 24 years, arrested in case FIR No. 37/17 Dt. 27.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS East, is remanded in police custody upto 02.03.2017.

  9. Accused Karn Singh Nepali S/o Lt. Sh. Jeet Ram R/o C/o Sh. Bhoop Ram R/o Malyana, Shimla, arrested today in Case FIR No. 38/17 Dt. 28.02.2017 U/S 18,20-61-85 ND&PS at PS East. Tomorrow, he will be produced before Ld. Court.
