Crime Report on Feb. 04, 2017

1. An ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 14/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli Shimla on 03.02.17 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act on he rukka of SI Virochan Negi, I/C PP Sanjauli, Shimla alleging therein that on 03.02.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff, at about 07-15 PM a vehicle No. CH-03-1392 alongwith driver namely Anshul Chauhan  S/o Lt. Sh. Ami Chand Chauhan R/o Village Ragavi, PO Kulunala, Tehsil & PS Kotkhai, Shimla, age 28 years, intercepted by them. During the search of vehicle, he recovered 80 Tablets of Nitrosum-10 (Restricted Medicine) from the dashboard of above vehicle under his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Virochan Negi, I/C PP Sanjauli, Shimla.

2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 07/17 has been registered at PS Sunni today on 04.02.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Thola Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Mast Ram R/o Village Suma, PO Jalog, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla alleging therein that today on 04.02.2017 at about 09-30 AM, one Bolero-Camper No. HP-35-2539 met with an accident near Suma Nala due to rash & negligence driving of  Pharsi Dass S/o Sh. Tikkam Dass R/o Village Bathora, PO Baag, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla, age 48 years and rolled down approx. 100 meter from the road, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by SI Prem Lal, I/C PP Jalog.   

3. During last 24 hours 390 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 171 & fine realized Rs. 54,700/- and 298 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 30,600/-.   

   INQUEST REPORT:

1. On the intervening night of 02/03.02.2017, Deceased Jeet Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Bhim Singh R/o Village Dhadi, Tehsil Jubbal, Distt. Shimla, who is serving as Watchman in Rest House Rathal has been died due to fell down about 120 feet in the deep gorge near HP PWD Rest House at Rathal, in the jurisdiction of PS Jubbal. After autopsy, dead body handed over to his relative for cremation .

2. On 03.02.2017, Deceased Birendera Prasad S/o Sh. Ghanshyam Dutt R/o Village Kanda Bhakra, Distt. Chamoli, Uttrakhand, age 49 years A/P serving as ASI in ITBP 43^rd Bn.  at Shalabag, feels chest pain and shifted to MGMSC Khaneri, Rampur where doctor declared him brought dead. After autopsy, dead body handed over to his relative for cremation.

3. On 04.02.2017, Deceased Lekh Ram Sharma S/o Sh. Roop Chand Sharma R/o Village Navi, PO Himari, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla, age 67 years fell down from corridor of his house, caused sustained head injury to him. He was shifted to CH Sunni, where doctor declared him brought dead. After autopsy, dead body handed over to his relative for cremation.   

   FOLLOW-UP:

1. Accused Anshul Chauhan  S/o Lt. Sh. Ami Chand Chauhan R/o Village Ragavi, PO Kulunala, Tehsil & PS Kotkhai, Shimla, age 28 years, arrested in case FIR No. 14/17 Dt. 03.02.17 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, is remanded in police custody upto 06.02.2017, by the Ld. Court.
