Crime Report on Feb. 08, 2017

  1. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 09/17 has been registered at PS Rohru on 07.02.2017 U/S 39(i) HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Vikas Sharma, Addl. SHO PS Rohru alleging therein that on 07.02.2017, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Munchara area. On a secret information, he alongwith staff raided in the shop of Vipin S/o Sh. Jalpu Ram R/o Village Munchhara, Rohru and recovered 11 Bottles of Country liquor marka Himachal Orange from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Vikas Sharma, Addl SHO PS Rohru.

  2. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 09/17 has been registered at PS Sunni on 07.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Tevender Singh, SHO PS Sunni, Shimla alleging therein that on 07.02.2017 at about 09-30 PM, during patrolling one person namely Het Ram S/o Sh. Choudhary R/o Village Nagar, PO Sainj, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla apprehended by them at village Nagar and recovered 21 Bottles of country liquor marka Una No. 1 from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Tevender Singh, SHO PS Sunni, Shimla.

  3. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 12/17 has been registered at PS East today on 08.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Daleep Chand, I/O PP Kasumpti, Shimla alleging therein that today on 08.02.2017 at about 03-10 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff one person namely Prakash Chand S/o Sh. Lal Bahadur R/o Godwani Niwas, Forest Colony, Sargheen, Shimla, age 23 years apprehended by them on the road leading towards Sargheen from Panthaghati and recovered 05 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No. 1, from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Daleep Chand, I/O PP Kasumpti, Shimla.  

  4. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 14/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 08.02.2017 U/S 39(i) HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Devi Ram I/O PS Kumarsain alleging therein that today  on 08.02.2017, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Kandyali. At about 01-00 PM, on the secret information, they raided in the shop of Ravi Dutt S/o Lt. Sh. Anant Ram R/o Village Kandiali, Tehsil Kumarsin, Shimla and recovered 24 Bottles of Country liquor marka Nagpuri Santra from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Devi Ram, I/O PS Kumarsain.  

  5. A GAMBLING ACT:  Case FIR No. 27/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 07.02.2017 U/S 13-3-67 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of ASI Deep Chand, I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that on 07.02.2017 at about 06-30 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff four persons namely Surender Chauhan, Kali Bahadur, Balak Ram & Pratap Singh apprehended by them during playing gambling in public place at Village Bankuffar and recovered Rs. 3,690/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Deep Chand, I/O PS Kotkhai.  

  6. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 16/17 has been registered at PS West on 07.02.2017 U/S 07.02.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Jagdish Mehra S/o Sh. Maan Sukh R/o Village Sharan, Nankhari, Shimla alleging therein that on 07.02.2017, he was going towards Solan from Rampur in his Alto Car.  At about 01-00 PM, when he reached near Sonu Bungalow, at the same time one Innova vehicle  came rashly and hit his vehicle. The case is being investigated by HC Narender, I/O PS West.    

  7. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 26/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 07.02.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the complaint of Smt. Manjula Devi alleging therein that on 02.01.2017 at about 05-00 PM, when she alongwith her son at Bhui Bazar, a Santro Car No. HP-16A-9100 came rashly & hit her son & run away from the spot, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Inder, I/O PS Theog.

  8. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 18/17 has been registered at PS West on 08.02.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act  on the statement of Sh. Umesh Sharma S/o Sh. Beli Ram Sharma R/o Village Kanair, PO Kuftu, Tehsil Kandaghat, Distt. Solan, HP stated therein that today on 08.02.2017, he was going to Kandaghat in his Motorcycle No. HP-52A-6594. When he reached near Garbage Centre, Bharyal, at the same time one Bolero Vehilce No. HP-28A-4612 came rashly in wrong direction and hit his motorcycle and run away from the spot. In this accident, he sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder Kumar, I/O PP Jutogh.  

  9. ATTEMPT TO MURDER: Case FIR No. 27/17 Dt. 07.02.17 U/S 451 307 506 IPC & 25-54-59 Arms Act at PS Theog has been registered on the statement of Sh. Bala Nand S/o Lt. Sh. Gyaru Ram R/o Village Alahar, PO Kyar, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 50 years stated therein that his younger daughter namely Reeta has got love marriage with Lokinder S/o Sh. Matha Ram R/o Village Teer (Sangvi) Tehsil Theog Shimla, two weeks ago. On 07.02.2017, after marriage his daughter & Son-in-law came to his house first time. After refreshment, they went to the house of his brother namely Matha Ram, nearby his house. At about   04-00 PM, when his daughter Reeta, Son-in-law Lokinder, Vipin & Meenakshi were coming back to home, at the same time one  Jagdish R/o Village Veergarh came with gun and threatened them with dire consequences.  On this they all run inside his house. As his daughter Reeta was closing the door, Jagdish fired on them with his gun, caused sustained injuries to him alongwith his daughter Reeta & wife Smt. Savitri Devi. After that Jagdish run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Purshotam Chand, I/O PS Theog.

  10. ATTEMPT TO THEFT: Case FIR No. 10/17 has been registered at PS Rohru on 07.02.2017 U/S 379 511 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Hameed S/o Sh. Gafoordeen R/o Village karalash, PO  Kansakoti, Rohru alleging therein that on 07.02.2017 at about 07-30 AM, when they checked their parking vehicles and found that a vehicle No. HP-62A-3310 fled the spot in suspicious condition. At this they found that their vehicles were sabotaged and attempt to siphon the fuel diesel/petrol was made by two persons identified as Ashish S/o Sh. Laxmi Singh Nagta R/o Village Shekhal, Rohru, age 28 years & Dinesh Thakur R/o Village Brasli, Kansakoti, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 28 years. Above both persons have been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by HC Vijay, I/O PS Rohru.

  11. A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 17/17 has been registered at PS West today on 08.02.2017 U/S 457,380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Surender Kumar S/o Sh. Hira Singh R/o Village & PO Jathia Devi, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla A/P running a Kariana/Mobile Shop at Jathia Devi, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 07/08.02.2017, some unknown person has broken the shutter locks of his shop and stolen away mobile phones. The case is being investigated by ASI Mohan Lal, I/O PP Jutogh.

  12. During last 24 hours 438 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 175 & fine realized Rs. 72,500/- and 223 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 22,200/-.   

    INQUEST REPORT:

  1. On 07.02.2017, Deceased  Lokinder @ Lucky  S/o Sh. Sant Ram R/o Village Jaei, PO Kyar, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla, age 30 years, committed suicide by consumed some intoxicated substance and found dead at his own house. After autopsy, dead body handed over to his family members for cremation.    

    RECOVERED STOLEN PROPERTY

  1. On 08.02.2017, a stolen Car has been recovered at Rohru in case FIR No. 11/17 Dt. 05.02.2017 U/S 379 IPC at PS New Shimla, from the possession of two persons namely Ashish Nagta & Dinesh Kumar. They disfigured the original number of the vehicle and were using fake No. HP-62-3310.

  2. Four persons namely i) Rojudeen, ii) Mohd. Umed, iii) Mohd. Rihana and iv) Chand Mohd. have been arrested from Meerut in Case FIR No. 221/16 Dt. 27.08.2016 U/S 457 380 IPC at PS Sadar, who have stolen 21 smart phones  from a Mobile shop at Lower Bazar Shimla and recovered 07 Mobile Phones from their possession.   

    FOLLOW-UP:

  1. Accused Dhyan Singh S/o Sh. Kanshi Ram R/o Village Jodhpur, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla, age 42 years, arrested in case FIR No. 25/17 Dt. 06.02.2017 U/S 18-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Theog, is remanded in police custody upto 09.02.2017, by the trial court.

  2. Accused Pawan Kumar S/o Sh. Sangat Ram R/o Village Rothi, PO Shawar, Tehsil Anni, Distt. Kullu, HP, arrested in case FIR No. 31/17 Dt. 07.02.2017 U/S 342 323 IPC at PS Rampur, is being produced before Ld. Court today.   

  3. Two Accused i) Ashish Nagta S/o Sh. Laxmi Singh Nagta R/o Village Shekhal, PO Dhadi, Rohru, age 28 years & ii) Dinesh Thakur  S/o Sh. Devender Kumar R/o Village Brasli, Kansakoti, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 28 years, arrested in case FIR No. 10/17 Dt. 07.02.2017 U/S 379 511 34 IPC at PS Rohru, is on police remand upto 10.02.2017.  

  4. Four Accused namely i) Rojudeen S/o Sufi Saleem, age 26 years ii) Mohd. Umed S/o Mohd. Yusuf, age 24 years iii) Mohd. Rihana S/o Sh. Abdul Rasheed, age 18 years and iv) Chand Mohd. S/o Mohd. Yusuf, age 28 years  all the resident of Mohalla Sahajmal, Kithor Gramin (Merath),arrested in case FIR No. 221/16 Dt. 27.08.2016 U/S 457 380 IPC at PS Sadar, is remanded in police custody upto 10.02.2017, by the trial court.
