A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 13/17 been registered at PS Sunni on 19.02.2017 U/S 18-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SHO PS Sunni, Shimla alleging therein that on 19.02.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff one person namely Kamal Kishore S/o Sh. Munni Lal R/o Village & PO Kau, Tehsil Karsong, Distt. Mandi intercepted by them in Rain Shelter Mungna near Sunni and recovered 42 gram Opium from his possession. The case is being investigated by SHO PS Sunni.
A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 12/17 has been registered at PS Chopal on 19.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Ram Gopal, I/O PS Chopal alleging therein that on 19.02.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff one person namely Balkrishan S/o Sh. Sita Ram R/o Village Koti, PO Marog, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, intercepted by them and recovered 11 gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Gopal, I/O PS Chopal.
A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 39/17 has been registered at PS Sadar on 19.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Ram Pal, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla alleging therein that on 19.02.2017, he alongwith staff was on patrolling/checking towards Cart Road, Shimla. At about 07-30 PM, on the secret information, one person namely Pratap Singh R/o Village Mandhol, Tehsil Jubbal, Distt. Shimla, age 51 years, intercepted by them, who was staying in Panchayat Bhawan & recovered 162 gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Pal, I/O PS Sadar.
A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 37/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 20.02.2017 U/S 18,20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Rafi Mohd., I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that today on 20.02.2017, during traffic checking alongwith staff, one Wagon-R No. HP-07D-0479 alongwith driver namely Gautam Vady S/o Lt. Sh. Om Prakash R/o House No. 67, Shkuntla Niwas, Sanjauli, Shimla, age 36 years stopped by them for checking & recovered 1.68 gram Opium & 5.16 gram Charas from the vehicle under his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Rafi Mohd. I/O PS Kotkhai.
AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 16/17 has been registered at PS Rohru on 19.02.2017 U/S 39(1)HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Ranjeet Singh, I/C PP City Rohru alleging therein that on 19.02.2017 at about 06.00 PM, during patrolling along with staff, they raided in the shop of Dulat Singh Rawat S/O Sh. Ajab Singh R/O Mandal PO Dadiyar Teh Mohri Distt Utterkhashi U.K A/P Shopkeeper near Seema Teh Rohru Distt Shimla and recovered 04 Bottles of Country liquor marka Himachal orange from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Ranjeet Singh I/O PP City Rohru.
AN EXCISE ACT: case FIR No 09/17 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 19.02.2017 U/S 39 (i) HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Raj Kumar, I/O PS Jubbal, Shimla alleging therein that on 19.02.2017, on the secret information they raided in the store of Satish Kumar S/o Sh. Roshan Lal R/o Village Kelve Tehsil Jubbal, Shimla and recovered 10 bottles of country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Raj Kumar, I/O PS Jubbal
A MURDER: Case FIR No. 15/17 has been registered at PS Rohru on 19.02.2017 U/S 302 IPC on the statement of Sh. Aman Chauhan S/o Lt. Sh. Jaikaran Chauhan R/o Village Khashkandi PO Kutara, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 26 years alleging therein that on 19.02.2017 at about 02-00 PM, he heard some noise from outside his home. On this, he came out from his house and found that his neighbour Krishan Chand R/o Village Khaskandi, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 37 years was beating his old mother namely Kagal Devi, age 68 years with a Kudaali due to some domestic feud & killed her. Accused has been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by SI Mohan Singh, I/O PS Rohru.
A DACOITY: Case FIR No 22/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli today on 20.02.2017 U/S 395 IPC on the statement of Sh. Umesh Kumar S/O Sh. Tulsi Ram R/O Vill. Dhar PO Durgapur Tehsil & Distt Shimla age 25 Year stated therein that he is working with the First Grade Security Services Pvt. Ltd. Chakkar and attached as Security Guard in HP Electricity Deptt Central Store at Malyana. Today on 20.02.2017 at about 01.30 AM, when he was present in his gumati, three persons came there and asked him for drinking water. After that, they caught him and tied his mouth, hand & foot with clothes. One of them went out from the Gumati and two persons remained holding him. He heard chatting of 3-4 persons from outside the Gumati. Both persons left him at 3.15 AM and also taken his mobile Sim, battery, silver Kara and chain & locked inside the Gumati. After half an hour he untied his hand and foot and came out of the Gumati through window and found that locks of the store and office was broken. He informed Rakesh Sharma Asstt. Icharge Store, who also reached on the spot and found that copper wire about 36 quintal amounting to Rs. 11.40 lacs was stolen from the store. They transported the above wire in some vehicle. The case is being investigated by ASI Roshan Lal I/O PS Dhalli .
During last 24 hours 280 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 130 & fine realized Rs. 42,600/- , 190 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 19,100/- and 02 Challaned under Mining Act.
INQUEST REPORT:
During the night of 19.02.2017, Deceased Murat Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Sita Ram R/o Village Thantwari, (Tangnu) PO Tangnu) Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla, age 55 years fell down from the hillock, caused sustained injuries to him. He was shifted to CHC Sandasu, where doctor declared him brought dead. After autopsy, dead body handed over to his relative for cremation.

Accused (i) Rasheed @ Babru S/o Sh. Musahid and (ii) Munnu S/o Sh. Bajeer Ansari R/o Village Shahjamal, PO Kithor, Tehsil & PS Kithor, Distt. Merath, UP, arrested in case FIR No. 04/17 Dt. 02.01.2017 U/S 457 380 IPC at PS Sadar, are being produced before Ld. Court.
Accused Pratap Singh R/o Village Mandhol, Tehsil Jubbal, Distt. Shimla, age 51 years, arrested in case FIR No. 39/17 Dt. 19.02.17 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar, is being produced before Ld. Court today.
Accused Kamal Kishore S/o Sh. Munni Lal R/o Village & PO Kau, Tehsil Karsong, Distt. Mandi, age 47 years, arrested in case FIR No. 13/17 Dt. 19.02.2017 U/S 18-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sunni, is remanded in Police custody upto 22.02.2017, by the trial court.
Accused Krishan Chand R/o Village Khaskandi, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 37 years arrested in case FIR No. 15/17 Dt. 19.02.2017 U/S 302 IPC at PS Rohru, is remanded in police custody upto 21.02.2017, by the Ld. Court.
Accused Balkrishan S/o Sh. Sita Ram R/o Village Koti, PO Marog, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, arrested in Case FIR No.12/17 Dt. 19.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Chopal, is being produced before Ld. Court today.
Accused Gautam Vady S/o Lt. Sh. Om Prakash R/o House No. 67, Shkuntla Niwas, Sanjauli, Shimla, age 36 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 37/17 Dt. 20.02.2017 U/S 18,20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Kotkhai. He will be produced before Ld. Court tomorrow.
