A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 16/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 28.01.2017 U/S 22-61-85 ND&PS Act has been registered on the rukka of ASI Ranjeet Singh, I/O PS Kotkhai stated therein that on 27.01.2017 at about 11-15 PM, during nakabandi alongwith staff at Hulli, a vehicle No. HP-63B-1129 (Santro) alongwith two persons namely Kapil Sawant S/o Om Prakash R/o Village Jaltar, PO Chalnair, Teshil Kotkhai, Shimla, age 30 years & Kushal Chauhan S/o Sh. Jia Lal R/o Village Kalamu, PO Chalnair, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla age 30 years, which was coming from Chhaila side, stopped by them for checking and recovered 02 Bottles of Correx (restricted medicine) from their possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Ranjeet Singh, I/O PS Kotkhai.
AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 09/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 27.01.2017 U/S 279,337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Amar Singh S/o Sh. Mehar Singh R/o Nikhil Cottage, Jawahar Colony, Bhatakuffar, Dhalli Shimla alleging therein that on 27.01.2017, he was coming to his office, PAR The Mall Shimla from home on foot. At about 07-20 PM, when he was crossing Sanjauli Bazar, at the same time a Alto Car No. HP-01A-5299 come rashly with negligently driving & hit him from back side and run away from the spot, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Vinay, I/O PP Sanjauli, Shimla.
AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 17/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 27.01.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Rakesh Kumar S/o Sh. Prem Dass R/o Village Kadog, PO Malyana, Tehsil Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 27.01.2017, he was going to home. At about 05-30 PM, when he reached near Workshop and saw that a Maruti 800 Car No. HP-06A-2323 came rashly and hit a person namely Mathu Ram R/o Dahanghati walking on the road and run away from the spot, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by ASI Lachhi Ram, I/C PP Matiana.
AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 18/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 27.01.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Hari Ram S/o Sh. Bal Govinder Gupta R/o Village & PO Chhaila, Tehsil Theog, Shimla stated therein that on 27.01.2017 at about 04-00PM, when his son namely Sunil Kumar alongwith Rohit Kumar & Rakesh Kumar was going to Petrol Pump at Chhaila to refuel in his vehicle No. HP-09C-2603, on the way a Wagon-R Car No. HP-09C-2603 driven by Ravinder @ Vinnu, came rashly in wrong direction from Theog side and collide with his vehicle. After that driver Ravinder @Vinnu run away from the spot. In this accident his son Sunil Kumar, Rohit Kumar, Rakesh Kumar alongwith two persons Kuldeep Chandel & Chet Ram who were travelling in Wagon-R car, sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Ashok Kumar, I/O PS Theog.
A FIRE INCIDENT: Case FIR No. 07/16 has been registered at PS New Shimla on 27.01.2017 U/S 285 IPC on the statement of Smt. Suman Dutta W/o Sh. Deep Kumar Dutta R/o Dutta Niwas, Kanlog, Shimla A/P Junior Asstt. in Govt. High School Khalini, Shimla stated therein that on 27.01.2017, she came to know that previous night fire incident took place in the school. On this, she visited the spot and found that ceiling, Roofs & Desks of room No. 2 & 3 has been destroyed due to fire. The case is being investigated by HC Narender, I/O PS New Shimla.
MISCHIEF BY FIRE WITH THE INTENT TO DESTROY HOUSE: Case FIR No. 06/17 has been registered at PS Rohru today on 28.01.2017 U/S 436 IPC on the statement of Sh. Prakash Panta S/O Late Sh. Harisaran Dass Panta R/O Village & PO Dadigunsa Tehsil & PS Jubbal Distt. Shimla HP stated therein that he is working as Senior Assistant in SDM Office Dodra Kawar and taken two rooms set on rent basis in the Building of Prithvi Raj Machhan near PWD Workshop Rohru. Today on 29.01.2017, when he was present at his home Dadigunsa, Sh. Sanjay Sood informed him telephonically that his two rooms set was on fire. When he reached there and saw that all things (Property) were burnt and the fire was already over-come by the fire brigade. He doubted that some unknown person set a fire in his two rooms set. The case is being investigated by ASI Gopal Singh I/O PS Rohru.
During last 24 hours 298 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 118 & fine realized Rs. 44,600/-, 90 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 9,850/- and 01 Challaned under Mining Act & Fine realized Rs. 7000/-.

Accused i) Kapil Sawant S/o Om Prakash R/o Village Jaltar, PO Chalnair, Teshil Kotkhai, Shimla, age 30 years & ii) Kushal Chauhan S/o Sh. Jia Lal R/o Village Kalamu, PO Chalnair, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla age 30 years, arrested in case FIR No. 16/17 Dt. 28.01.2017 U/S 22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Kotkhai, are being produced before Ld. Court today.
