Crime Report on Jan. 15, 2016

1. An Accident: Case FIR No 14/14 has been registered at PS Rampur on 15.01.2017 U/S 279 IPC on the statement of Sh. Vishal Kashyap S/o Sh. Prakash R/o Village Gharewati Tehsil Kumarsain Distt. Shimla HP alleging therein that on 14.01.2017, his friend parked Mohinder parked his vehicle No. HP-25A-6565 on the roadside on NH-05 at Dakolar.  At the same time one truck No HP-63-7374 driven by Vikram Singh S/o Sh. Ramesh Sharma R/o Kapila Complex Samproon, Distt. Solan, HP, came rashly towards Nogli and hit his vehicle and alongwith two another vehicles No HP-06A-3500 M/800 & HP-06A-6211 M/Cylcle. The case is being investigated by HC Susheel, I/O TTR wing PS Rampur.

2. An Accident: case FIR No. 05/17 has been registered at PS Chopal today on 15.01.2017 U/S 279 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Ravi Kumar S/o Sh. Som Nath, R/o Ward No. 4, Chopal Shimla stated threrein that on 14.01.2017 at about 10-15 PM, one vehicle No. HP-01A-2302 ( Tata Sumo) met with an accident near Jadawag Nala near Khagna due to rash & negligent driving of Amit Kumar, age 35 years and rolled down from the road. In this accident, driver Amit Kumar died on the way to hospital. The case is being investigated by HC Gian Singh, I/O PS Chopal.   

3. An Accident: Case FIR No. 08/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 15.01.2017 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sanjay Kumar, Hotel Owner Singhapur, near Sainj Kumarsain stated therein that today on 14.01.2017 at about 06-45 PM, one Maruti Car No. HP-06-3026 met with an accident near his hotel Singhapur at Sainj due to rash & negligent driving of Raj Pal, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by ASI Hem Chand, I/C PP Sainj.

4. During last 24 hours 260 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 82 & fine realized Rs. 30,900/- and 26 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs-. 3,000/-.

   FIRE INCIDENT

1. During the intervening night of 14/15.1.2017 at about 01-00 AM, fire incident took place at village Tangnu, in the jurisdiction of PS Chirgaon. Due to fire, 53 houses &12 goats have been burnt totally and 49 families affected. No human loss occurred in this fire incident.          

   INQUEST REPORT

1. Deceased Bheem Singh S/o Sh. Nand Ram R/o Village Shantha, PO Dewat, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, age 40 years, slipped from hillock, caused sustained injuries to him and died on the way to hospital. After postmortem at CH Chopal, dead body handed over to his relatives form cremation.  

   FOLLOW UP:-

1. Accused Raj Kumar S/o Sh. Dhan Bahadur R/o Village Laha, PO & Tehsil Dhali, Distt. Jajarlot Bheri, Nepal, age 25 years, arrested in case FIR No. 09/17 Dt. 11.01.17 U/S 376 IPC & 4 of POCSO Act at PS Rampur, is remanded in Police custody upto 16.01.2017, by the Ld. Court.

2. Three accused namely i) Vinod Kumar S/o Sh Yuv Raj, ii) Dharmender Singh S/o Sh Durga Dass and iii) Om Prakash S/o Sh Dharam Singh residents of Village & PO Kao Tehsil Karsog Distt Mandi arrested in case FIR No 02/17 on 14.01.2017 U/S 20,29-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Sunni are on Police Remand up to 16.01.2017.
