Crime Report on Jan. 19, 2017

1. An Accident: Case FIR No 18/17 has been registered at PS Rampur on 18.01.2017 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Pankaj S/O Sh. Goverdhan Rana R/O Village & PO Koot Teh. Rampur Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that on 18.01.2017 at about 4.30PM, when he was going towards Jeori in vehicle No. HP-06A-5989 (B/Camper) and reached near HS Khaneri, at the same time a Motor Cycle No. HP-06A-6515 (Yamah) came rashly from Khaneri side and collide with his vehicle, caused sustained injuries to rider Adital Kumar and Atul Chauhan. The case is being investigated by HC Sushil Kumar, I/O T.T.R Rampur.

2. A Causing Death by Negligence: Case FIR No 03/17 has been registered at PS Nerwa today on 19.01.2017 U/S 336, 304 A IPC on the statement of Sh. Narayan Singh S/o Sh. Mishru Ram R/o Village Aar PO Bijmal Tehsil Chopal, Shimla stated therein that today on 19.01.2017 at about  09.30 AM, Naresh Kumar @ Nariya was washing the Bolero Camper No HP63A-0515 at Kedi. Suddenly the above vehicle got neutral gear & moving forward. He was overrun by the above vehicle, when he was trying to stop it,  caused sustained injuries to him and died on the way to hospital. The case is being investigated by ASI Ashok Kumar, I/O PS Nerwa.   

3. A Theft: Case FIR No. 11/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 18.01.2017 U/S 379 IPC on the statement of Sh. Jitender  Shaget S/o Sh. G.D Bhaget R/o Village Karali (Khaneti) PO Batari Tehsil Kumarsain alleging therein that on the intervening night of 16/17.01.2017, some unknown person has stolen away the four tyres of his vehicle No. HP-52A-6756, parked on Khaneti-Kotgarh road. The case is being investigated by ASI  Hans Raj I/O PS Kumarsain.

4. A Theft: Case FIR No. 08/17 has been registered at PS West today on 19.01.2017 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Munish Kumar S/o Sh. Pradeep Kumar R/o Geenfield Annexy, Cart Road Lakkar Bazar, Shimla alleging therein that he had purchased LP Truck No. HP-62A-4674 from Sh. Sant Ram Tanwar on affidavit. On the intervening night of 17/18.01.2017, some unknown person has stolen his above Truck parked by his driver Ravinder at Tutikandi Bypass, Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagat Ram, I/O PS West.

5. During last 24 hours 229 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 72 & fine realized Rs. 29,800/- and 82 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs-. 8,700/-.

   FOLLOW UP:

1. Three accused namely i) Vinod Kumar S/o Sh Yuv Raj, ii) Dharmender Singh S/o Sh Durga Dass and iii) Om Prakash S/o Sh Dharam Singh residents of Village & PO Kao, Tehsil Karsog Distt Mandi arrested in case FIR No 02/17 on 14.01.2017 U/S 20,29-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sunni. Today all the accused are remanded in  judicial custody by the Ld. Court.  

2. Accused Jia Ram S/o Sh. Surat Ram R/o Village & PO Jao, Tehsil Anni, Distt. Kullu, age 36 years, arrested in case FIR No. 09/17 Dt. 18.01.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Kumarsain, is remanded in Police custody upto 20.01.2017 by the Ld. Court.  

3. Accused Roop Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Uttam Ram R/o Village & PO Jaon, Tehsil & PS Anni, Distt. Kullu, age 32 years, arrested in case FIR No. 10/17 Dt. 18.01.2017 U/S 17-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Kumarsain, is remanded in Police custody upto 20.01.2017 by the Ld. Court.
