Crime Report on Jan. 26, 2017

1. A GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No. 07/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 25.01.2017 U/S 13-3-67 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of HC Balbir Singh, I/O  PS Chirgaon alleging therein that on 25.01.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff four persons apprehended  by them during playing gambling with cards near Sandasu and recovered Rs. 2,920/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Balbir Singh, I/O PS Chirgaon.

2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 04/17 has been registered at PS Rohru on 25.01.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ankush Luta S/o Sh. Hem Raj Luta R/o Village & PO Karasa, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 27 years stated therein that on 25.01.2017, he alongwith his friend Rakesh Samta S/o Sh. Rattan Samta R/o Karchari, Rohru was going towards Mehandali in his vehicle No. HP-10B-9119. At about 096-00 PM, above vehicle met with an accident & rolled down from the road, caused sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by HC Vijay Kumar, I/O PS Rohru.

3. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 15/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 25.01.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Suraj Pal S/o Lt. Sh. Ram Shah R/o Village Sikandar Pur, PO Raipur, Tehsil & PS Mirzapur, Distt. Sarahanpur, UP alleging therein that on 25.01.2017 at about 05-00 PM, when he was at Chol near Kotkhai, at the same time, one Alto 800 Car No. HP-10A-7663 driven by Nitin Kumar S/o Sh. Gian Singh R/o Kupri, PO Pujarli, Rohru, came rashly from Kokunala side and hit him, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated  by HC Tulsi Ram, I/O PS Kotkhai.  

4. A WRONGFUL CONFINEMENT:  Case FIR No. 08/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 25.01.2017 U/S 323 342 392 427 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Gian Hetta R/o Hetta Niwas, Upper Chalaunthi, Sanjauli Shimla alleging therein that on 22.01.2017 at about 08-00 PM, when he was going towards Theog in his car from Chalauthi, suddenly three persons attacked on him & took him alongwith car towards Kelti. They have beaten him brutally & snatched Rs. 9,000/- from his pocket. After that, they again come to Chalaunthi and broken the glasses of his car. The case is being investigated by HC Kishore Kumar, I/O PP Sanjauli.

5. A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN & CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION: Case FIR No 25/17 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 26.01.2017 U/S 341,323,506,34 IPC on the application of Sh. Arjun Singh S/O Sh. Chaman Lal R/O Village Kuhal PO Deothi Tehisl Rampur Bsr Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that on 25.01.2017 at about 04.30PM when he was going to Bawari (Pond) to bring the water, on the way Raju, Sureder and Subhash S/o Sh. Sohan Lal obstructed his way, beaten him brutally & threatened with dire consequence. The case is being investigated by HC Ram Lal, I/O PP Taklech.

6. A THEFT: Case FIR No. 05/17 has been registered at PS Rohru on 25.01.2017 u/S 379 IPC on the statement of Sh. Bhupinder Sharma S/o Sh. Pratap Sharma R/o Village Palkan, PO & Tehsil Rohru, Shimla stated therein that he is working with contractor Anil Chauhan. On 25.01.2017 at about 10-15 PM, he saw that three persons stolen fuel (diesel) from vehicle No. HP-10A-3015 parked near Subzi Mandi Rohru and run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Ashish, I/O PS Rohru.

7. During last 24 hours 541 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 416 & fine realized Rs. 1,10,000/- and 154 persons challaned underSmoking Act & fine collected Rs. 15,400/-.

INQUEST REPOT

1. Deceased Dimple @ Kaku S/o Sh. Chunni Lal R/o Village & PO Sheel, Tehsil Rohru, Distt. Shimla, age 26 years found dead on Khara Pathar-Sheelghat Road near Deem Nala, in the jurisdiction of PS Jubbal. During preliminary enquiry it is found that he died to hyperthermia. The body was shifted to CH Jubbal for further legal proceeding.

1.    Accused i) Sanjay Kumar S/o Sh. Beli Ram R/o Village Lunalout, PO Tandi, Tehsil Anni, Distt. Kullu, age 28 years A/P Posted as Constable at PP Taklech &ii) Ram Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Janaki Dass R/o Village Seri Majheli, PO Taklech, Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 21/17 Dt. 23.01.2017 U/S 302, 34 IPC at PS Rampur, are remanded in Police custody upto 27.01.2017 by the Ld. Court.

2.    Accused i) Sandeep Sharma S/o Sh. Mohan Lal, age 28 years and ii) Sandeep @ Rinku S/o Sh. Rajender Singh, age 21 years (Both) R/o Village Bagail, PO Tiyali, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 13/17 Dt. 22.01.2017 U/S 363,366A,376 IPC & Sec. 4 of POCSO Act at PS Theog,  are on Police custody up to 27.01.2017.

3.    Accused Ankul S/o Sh. Guddu R/o Pedi Nangla, Tehsil & Distt. Bijnaur, Uttar Pradesh, age 24 years, arrested in case FIR No. 202/16 Dt. 12.10.2016 U/S 363 IPC at PS Dhalli, is on Police remand up to 27.01.2017.

4.    Accused Daleep Singh @ Banu S/o Sh. Sher Singh Village Halog P/o Khaneri Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla age.-26 years, has been arrested  on 24.01.2017 at Rampur in Case FIR No. 22/17 Dated 23.01.17 U/S 452,323,324,506,307 IPC PS Rampur is on police Remand up to 27.01.2017.
