Crime Report Jan. 20, 2017

1. A ND&PS Act: Case FIR No. 04/17 has been registered at PS Nerwa on 19.01.2017 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Sant Ram, I/C CP Jhamradi, PS Nerwa alleging therein that on 19.01.2017, one HRTC Bus No. HP-03B-6172, coming from Jubbal towards Chopal stopped by them for checking and recovered 68+52 (Total 120 Bottles) of Correx from the possession of two persons namely Gulab Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Bhawani Singh R/o Kandal, PO Tikkari, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, age 65 years & Salig Ram S/o Sh. Relu Ram R/o Village Ramdara, PO Telor, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, age 45 years. Above accused have been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by HC Sant Ram No. 240, I/C CP Jhamradi, PS Nerwa.

2. An Accident: Case FIR No. 12/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 20.01.2017 U/S 279 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Baldev S/o Sh. Jevi Ram R/o Village Prashan, PO Teshan, Tehsil Kumarsain, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 19.01.2017 at about 10-15 PM, one LP Truck No. HP-11-5680 met with an accident near Prashan, due to rash & negligent driving of Nitish Sharma and rolled down from the road. In this accident driver Nitish Sharma, age 28 years alongwith two another persons died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Hem Chand, I/C PP Sainj.  

3. A Wrongful Restrain & Criminal Intimidation: Case FIR No. 06/17 has been registered at PS New Shimla on 19.01.2017 U/S 341,323,504,506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Himanshu S/o Lt. Sh. Hari Dass  R/o Shiv Shakti Rana Cottage, Kanlog, Shimla stated therein that on 18.01.2017, he was coming to Kanlog from Manali in his vehicle. At about 10-25 PM, when he reached near Kanlog, at the same time his neibourer Ajay Parcha obstructed his way by stopped vehicle in front of his vehicle & beaten him. He also abused him and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Prakash, I/O PS New Shimla.

4. A Wrongful Restrain & Criminal Intimidation: Case FIR No. 10/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 19.01.2017 U/S 341 323 506 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Paras Ram S/o Sh. Nara Ram R/o Village Bagari, Tehsil Theog, Shimla alleging therein that Sh. Inder Singh alongwith his wife obstructed his way, beaten him brutally & threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Ashok, I/O PS Theog.      

5. During last 24 hours 304 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 122 & fine realized Rs. 43,300/- and 57 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs-. 6,300/-.

1. Accused Jia Ram S/o Sh. Surat Ram R/o Village & PO Jao, Tehsil Anni, Distt. Kullu, age 36 years, arrested in case FIR No. 09/17 Dt. 18.01.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Kumarsain, today remanded in judicial custody upto 30.01.2017 by the Ld. Court.  

2. Accused Roop Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Uttam Ram R/o Village & PO Jaon, Tehsil & PS Anni, Distt. Kullu, age 32 years, arrested in case FIR No. 10/17 Dt. 18.01.2017 U/S 17-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Kumarsain, today remanded in judicial custody upto 30.01.2017 by the Ld. Court.  

3. Accused i) Gulab Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Bhawani Singh R/o Kandal, PO Tikkari, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, age 65 years and ii) Salig Ram S/o Sh. Relu Ram R/o Village Ramdara, PO Telor, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, age 45 years, arrested in case FIR No. 04/17 Dt. 19.01.2017 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Nerwa, are remanded in Police custody upto 23.01.2017, by the Ld. Court.

4. Accused Rahul Chauhan S/o Sh. Shiv Lal R/o House No. 25, IAS Colony, Sargheen, Panthaghati, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 155/16 U/S 420,467,468,471 IPC at PS New Shimla, is remanded in Police custody upto 21.01.2017 by the Ld. Court.
