Crime Report on Jan. 24, 2017

1. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 06/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 23.01.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Baldev Singh, I/C PP Junga, PS Dhalli alleging therein that on 23.01.2017 at about 05-45 PM, when he alongwith staff was on patrolling in the jurisdiction of PP Junga. At about 05-45 PM, when they reached near bifurcation Hotel Cedar Height, at the same time one vehicle No. HR-21K-8629 alongwith seven persons namely Kulbeer, Deepak, Sukhbeer, Hardeep, Anup, Sandeep & Suresh intercepted by them for checking and recovered 07 Bottles of English Liquor marka Peter Scot (sale for Haryana only) from their possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Baldev Singh, I/C PP Junga, PS Dhalli.

2. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 13/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 24.01.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Rajneesh Thakur, SHO PS Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that today on 24.01.2017 at about 03-15 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Sanju Rajta S/o Sh. Budhi Ram R/o Village Rajtadi, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla, age 34 years intercepted by them and recovered 12 Bottles of English liquor marka Officer Choice from his possession.  The case is being investigated by SI Rajneesh Thakur, SHO PS Kotkhai.   

3. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No 04/17 has been registered at PS Jubbal today on 24.01.2017 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Madan Singh S/O Basti Ram R/O Village Bathad, PO Dugana Tehsil Kamrow PS Shillai Distt. Sirmour therein that on 23.01.2017, he was going towards Pangla Pul in his Tipper No. HP-63-4927. At about 06-00 PM, on the way one Machine Excavator, operated by Kamlesh Kumar S/O Uday Ram R/O Vill. Bhannaur Tehsil Poanta Sahib Distt. Sirmour age 36 years, coming from Pangla pul met with an accident & rolled down 200 meter from the road, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by ASI Keshav Chand I/C PP S/Nagar.

4. AN AFFRAY: Case FIR No. 04/17 has been registered at PS Sunni on 23.01.2017 U/S 160 IPC on the statement of Sh. Bhupal Singh S/o Sh. Devi Ram R/o Village Himari, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla, age 40 years  stated therein that on 23.01.2017, he was serving his duty in ITI Complex at Sunni. At about 07-00 PM, three persons namely Ram Krishan S/o Sh. Chet Ram, Vishal S/o Sh. Rajender Kumar Gupta & Rajender Sharma @ Kaku S/o Sh. Shnakar Dev Sharma create  nuisance in public peace at ITI complex Ground Sunni by quarrelling with each-other. The case is being investigated by ASI Dila Ram, I/O PS Sunni.    

5. A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 07/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli today on 24.01.2017 U/S 454 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Vivek Awasthi S/o Dr. B.D. Sharma R/o Awasthi Cottage, Engine Ghar, Sanjauli Shimla stated therein that on 23.01.2017, some unknown person has broken the window panes of his house and stolen away one Mobile Phone & Cash Rs. 20,000/- from his house. The case is being investigated by HC Vinay Kumar, I/O PP Sanjauli.

6. During last 24 hours 289 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 120 & fine realized Rs. 49,800/- and 44 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 4,400/-.

   INQUEST REPORT

1. On 24.01.2017, Deceased Prakash (Nepali) S/o Sh. Mahavir R/o Village Lachwala, PO & Tehsil Machkanda, Distt. Salyan, Nepal, age 33 years has committed suicide by hanging himself on tree near Village Jarind, in the jurisdiction of PS Jhakri. After postmortem at MGMSC Khaneri, deadbody handed over to his relative for cremation.

1. Accused i) Sanjay Kumar S/o Sh. Beli Ram R/o Village Lunalout, PO Tandi, Tehsil Anni, Distt. Kullu, age 28 years A/P Posted as Constable at PP Taklech & ii) Ram Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Janaki Dass R/o Village Seri Majheli, PO Taklech, Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 21/17 Dt. 23.01.2017 U/S 302, 34 IPC at PS Rampur, are remanded in Police custody upto 27.01.2017 by the Ld. Court.

2. Accused i) Sandeep Sharma S/o Sh. Mohan Lal, age 28 years and ii) Sandeep @ Rinku S/o Sh. Rajender Singh, age 21 years (Both) R/o Village Bagail, PO Tiyali, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 13/17 Dt. 22.01.2017 U/S 363,366A,376 IPC & Sec. 4 of POCSO Act at PS Theog,  are being produced before Ld. Court today.

3. Accused Ankul S/o Sh. Guddu R/o Pedi Nangla, Tehsil & Distt. Bijnaur, Uttar Pradesh, age 24 years, arrested in case FIR No. 202/16 Dt. 12.10.2016 U/S 363 IPC at PS Dhalli, is being produced before Ld. Court today.
