Crime Report on Jan. 31, 2017

1. A ND&PC ACT: Case FIR No. 11/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli today on 31.01.2017 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Virochan Negi, I/C PP Sanjauli, Shimla alleging therein that on 31.01.2017, he alongwith staff was on Nakabandi/traffic checking duty at Sanjauli Chowk Shimla. At about 04-45AM, one Honda City car alongwith driver namely Lakhan S/o Sh. Nirmal Kumar R/o House No. 3, near Veterinary Hospital, Cart Road Shimla, intercepted by them and recovered 32.6 mg. Smack/Brown Sugar from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Virochan Negi, I/C PP Sanjauli, Shimla.

2. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 23/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 30.01.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that on 30.01.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff towards Bagori, he recovered 05 Bottles of Country liquor marka Malta from the dhara of Dhan Bahadur S/o Sh. Chhabi Lal R/o Village Bagori, PO Rawlakiar, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal  Dev, I/O PS Kotkhai.

3. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 05/17 has been registered at PS Nerwa on 30.01.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of Insp. Narender Singh, SHO PS Nerwa, Shimla alleging therein that on 30.01.2017, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Bharanu. On the secret information, they raided in the shop/godown  of Maheshwar Singh S/o Sh. Mohar Singh R/o Village &  PO Bharanu, Chopal A/P running a Daily Needs Shop at Bharanu and recovered 24 Bottles of Country Liquor and 06 Bottles of English liquor marka Royal Stag  from his possession. The case is being investigated by Insp./SHO PS Nerwa.

4. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 11/17 has been registered at PS Sadar on 30.01.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Jasveer Singh, I/C PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla alleging therein that on 30.01.2017, during patrolling, one person namely Aparnav S/o Sh. Mangi Ram R/o House No. 329, Ajay House, near Deep Cottage, Kuftadhar, Shimla intercepted by them near Hotel Regency Bharari & recovered 09 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No.1 from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Jasweer Singh, I/C PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.  

5. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 12/17 has been registered at PS Sadar on 30.01.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Rampal, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla alleging therein that on 30.01.2017,  during patrolling alongwith staff at about 11-00 PM, one person namely Pala Ram S/o Sh. Ramkishan R/o Village Kot Krarkhan, PO Patra, Distt. Kapurthala, Punjab A/P Dhara below Singh Sabha Gaddi Khana, Shimla age 48 years, intercepted by them near Police Gumati at Cart Road Shimla and recovered 08 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No.1, from  his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Rampal, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla.         

6. During last 24 hours 316 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 118 & fine realized Rs. 37,700/- and 153 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 15,600/-.

   RECOVERED STOLEN PROPERTY

1. On 30.01.2017, A raid has been conducted in the residence cum junk shop of Nirmal @ Nimma R/o Ghora Hospital, near Krishna Nagar, Shimla & recovered 6 Nos. of Dry Batteries, 15 Kg. Aluminum, 38 Kg. Brass, 21 Kg. Albow Pipe Joints etc., 45 Kg. Copper wire and 75 Kg. New & old steel Taps from his possession. The above material has been seized and being verified/identified. Further investigation is being conducted by SHO PS Sadar, Shimla.

2. Accused Krishan @ Shiva S/o Sh. Govind R/o Madrasi Colony, Ram Nagar, Karnal, Haryana, age 26 years, arrested in case FIR No. 10/17 Dt. 29.01.2017 U/S 20,21-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar, is remanded in police custody upto 02.02.2017 by the Ld. Court.

3. Accused Rajkumar @ Raju S/o Sh. Pratap Singh R/o Village Bhui PO Chhaila, Teshil Theog, Shimla age 48 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 20/17 has been registered at PS Theog, Shimla on 30.01.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act & 39 HP Excise Act at PS Theog, is on police remand upto 01.02.2017.

Raj Kumar R/o House No. 12, Kachcha Makaan, near Lal Kothi, Phagli, Shimla, age 20 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 08/17 Dt. 25.01.2017 U/S 323,342,392,427,34 IPC at PS Dhalli. are remanded in police custody upto 02.02.2017 by the Ld. court.

5. Accused Lakhan S/o Sh. Nirmal Kumar R/o House No. 3, near Veterinary Hospital, Cart Road Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 11/17 Dt. 31.01.2017 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, is remanded in police custody upto 02.02.2017 by the Ld. court.

    

Crime Report on Jan. 30, 2017

1. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 20/17 has been registered at PS Theog, Shimla on 30.01.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act & 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of Insp. Sandeep Kumar, SHO PS Theog, Shimla stated therein that on 29.01.2017, he alongwith staff was on patrolling & collection of intelligence regarding illegal trading of drugs/liquor & investigation in case FIR No. 19/17 U/S 379 IPC towards Chhaila, Bhue etc. During the investigation of case FIR No. 19/17, he searched of the shop/residential rooms of Rajkumar @ Raju S/o Sh. Pratap Singh R/o Village Bhui PO Chhaila, Teshil Theog, Shimla age 48 years and recovered  cement bags (for Govt. supply only), diesel, 185 gram Charas, 13 Bottles of Country liquor & 02 Boxes of Beer  from his possession. The case is being investigated by Insp. Sandeep Kumar, SHO PS Theog, Shimla.

2. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 07/17 has been registered at PS Rorhu on 29.01.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of HC Rajinder, I/O PP Tikker, Rohru alleging therein that on 29.01.2017 at about 03.30 PM, during patrolling along with staff towards Dhanoti, he recovered 04 Bottles of Country liquor  marka VRV Orange from the shop of Ram Krishan S/O Kahana Chand R/O Village Dhanoti PO Samra Teshil Rohru Distt. Shimla. The case is being investigated by HC Rajinder No 18 I/O PP Tikker .

3. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 19/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 29.1.2017 U/S 13-3-67 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of ASI Roshan Lal I/C PP Baghi, Kotkhai alleging therein that on 29.01.2017 at about 02-00 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff when they reached at Kalbog and found that eight persons namely Rajeev Dogra, Ramesh, Pradeep, Rajeev, Vinod Rajta, Amit, Sudarshan & Rajender were playing gambling at public place and recovered Rs. 39,400/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Roshan Lal, I/C PP Baghi (Kotkhai).

4. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 20/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 29.01.2017 U/S 13-3-67 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of ASI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that on 29.01.2017 at about 04-15 PM,  during patrolling alongwith staff   six persons namely Sanjeev Kumar, Raju, Pyare Lal, Mohender Lal, Chet Ram & Sanjay apprehended by them during playing gambling at public place near Ram nagar and recovered Rs. 29,100/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Kokthai.

5. A THEFT: Case FIR No. 19/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 29.01.2017 u/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ashwani Kumar, Project Manager, C&C Construction Ltd. alleging therein that his company is being constructed a road from Theog to Kharapathar and their camp, Office Store & Mechanical Workshop is situated at Village Bagain (Theog). When he checked the store and found that 80 cement Bags & 150 liter diesel has been stolen from the store. He doubts that one person namely Rajkumar R/o village Bhue has stolen the above materials. The case is being investigated by ASI Purshotam Chand, I/O PS Theog.

6. A CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST: Case FIR No. 21/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 30.01.2017 U/S 409,467,468,471, IPC  on the complaint of Sh. Anant Ram Negi R/o Village Halaila Tehsil and PS Kotkhai, Shimla stated therein that Smt. Saroj A/P Pradhan, GP Mahsu prepared forgery document in the year 2016 in c/w construction of water tank and withdraw cash in fake account with the intention to get wrongfully profit.  The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev I/O PS Kotkhai.

7. A CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST: Case FIR No. 22/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 30.01.2017 U/S 409,420467,468,471, IPC  on the complaint of Sh. Anant Ram Negi R/o Village Halaila Tehsil and PS Kotkhai, Shimla stated therein that Smt. Saroj, Pradhan GP Mahsu, cheated panchyat people by illegally spend the government fund for getting wrongfully profit. The case is being investigated by ASI Deep Chand  I/O PS Kotkhai.

8. A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN: Case FIR No 21/17 has been registered at PS Theog today on 30.01.2017 U/S 323,341 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Nitu Chandel S/o Sh. Vijay Chandel R/o Chandel Niwas, Court Colony, Theog, Shimla alleging therein that one person namely Atma Ram S/o Sh. Neerma Ram R/o Village Basa Theog, obstructed his way & beaten him brutally. The case is being investigated by HC Adrash Kumar, I/O PS Theog.

Crime Report on Jan. 29, 2017

1. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 10/17 has been registered at PS Sadar today on 29.01.2017 U/S 20,21-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Radhe Shyam, I/O PS Sadar Shimla stated therein that today on 29.01.2017, he alongwith staff was on patrolling in the jurisdiction of PS Sadar. At about 03-45 AM, one person namely Krishan @ Shiva S/o Sh. Govind R/o Madrasi Colony, Ram Nagar, Karnal, Haryana, age 26 year, intercepted by them on Shimla Bypass road near Lalpani and recovered 2.072 Kg. Ganja & 40 gram Smack/Brown Sugar from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Radhe Shyam, I/O PS Sadar.

2. AN EXCISE ACT:  case FIR NO. 17/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 28.01.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Kamal Dev  I/O PS Kotkhai alleging therein that on 28.01.2017 at about 5:10 PM, during patrolling along with staff towards Kiari, he recovered 6  Bottles of Country liquor marka Ranger Orange  from the shop of Kharak Singh S/o Dal Bahadur R/o Village & PO Kiari  Teshil Kotkhai Distt. Shimla.  The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev  I/O PS Kotkhai.

AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 18/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 29.01.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Deep Chand, I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla stated therein that today on 29.01.2017, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Kiari in Kotkhai. At about 11-55 AM, on the secret information he alongwith staff raided in the shop of Arun Sharma S/o Sh. Girdhari Lal R/o Village & PO Kiari, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla and recovered 24 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Deep Chand, I/O PS Kotkhai.

4. MISCHIEF BY FIRE WITH THE INTENT TO DESTROY PROPERTY:  Case FIR No. 10/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 28.01.2017 U/S 435 IPC on the statement of Sh. Devi Chand S/o Sh. Mansa Ram R/o Village & PO Chanawag, Tehsil Sunni, Distt. Shimla A/P working as Cook in HP TDC at Kufri, Shimla stated therein that on 28.01.2017 at about 07-15 AM, he saw the smoke from the Char Minar Handloom showroom. He went near to the shop and saw that above showroom of Sh. Anurag Singh & another shop of Kartik was completely burnt due to fire. He doubts that some unknown person has set a fire by throwing a burning match stick inside the shop. The case is being investigated by ASI Roshan Lal, I/O PS Dhalli. 

5. A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN: Case FIR No. 05/17 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 28.01.2017 U/S 341 323 504 IPC on the statement of Bahadur Thapa @ Choti Lal S/o Sh. Lvoan Thapa Nepali Presently residing C/o Anil Ghegta R/o Old Jubbal, Shimla stated therein that on 28.01.2017 at about 07-00 PM, when he was going to his Dhara, one person namely Sanjay Ghegta @ Sanju R/o Old Jubbal, Shimla obstructed his way, abused him and beaten him brutally. The case is being investigated by ASI Raj Kumar, I/O PS Jubbal.

Crime Report on Jan. 28, 2017

1. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 16/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 28.01.2017 U/S 22-61-85 ND&PS Act has been registered on the rukka of ASI Ranjeet Singh, I/O PS Kotkhai stated therein that on 27.01.2017 at about 11-15 PM, during nakabandi alongwith staff at Hulli, a vehicle No. HP-63B-1129 (Santro) alongwith two persons namely Kapil Sawant S/o Om Prakash R/o Village Jaltar, PO Chalnair, Teshil Kotkhai, Shimla, age 30 years & Kushal Chauhan S/o Sh. Jia Lal R/o Village Kalamu, PO Chalnair, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla age 30 years, which was coming from Chhaila side, stopped by them for checking and recovered 02 Bottles of Correx (restricted medicine) from their possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Ranjeet Singh, I/O PS Kotkhai. 

2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 09/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 27.01.2017 U/S 279,337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Amar Singh S/o Sh. Mehar Singh R/o Nikhil Cottage, Jawahar Colony, Bhatakuffar, Dhalli Shimla alleging therein that on 27.01.2017, he was coming to his office, PAR The Mall Shimla from home on foot. At about 07-20 PM, when he was crossing Sanjauli Bazar, at the same time a Alto Car No. HP-01A-5299 come rashly with negligently driving & hit him from back side and run away from the spot, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Vinay, I/O PP Sanjauli, Shimla.

3. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 17/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 27.01.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Rakesh Kumar S/o Sh. Prem Dass R/o Village Kadog, PO Malyana, Tehsil Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 27.01.2017, he was going to home. At about 05-30 PM, when he reached near Workshop and saw that a Maruti 800 Car No. HP-06A-2323 came rashly and  hit a person namely Mathu Ram R/o Dahanghati walking on the road and run away from the spot, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by ASI Lachhi Ram, I/C PP Matiana.

4. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 18/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 27.01.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Hari Ram S/o Sh. Bal Govinder Gupta R/o Village & PO Chhaila, Tehsil Theog, Shimla stated therein that on 27.01.2017 at about 04-00PM, when his son namely Sunil Kumar alongwith Rohit Kumar & Rakesh Kumar was going to Petrol Pump at Chhaila to refuel in his vehicle No. HP-09C-2603, on the way a Wagon-R Car No. HP-09C-2603 driven by Ravinder @ Vinnu, came rashly in wrong direction from Theog side and collide with his vehicle. After that driver Ravinder @Vinnu run away from the spot. In this accident his son Sunil Kumar,  Rohit Kumar, Rakesh Kumar alongwith two persons Kuldeep Chandel & Chet Ram who were travelling in Wagon-R car, sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Ashok Kumar, I/O PS Theog.

5. A FIRE INCIDENT: Case FIR No. 07/16 has been registered at PS New Shimla on 27.01.2017 U/S 285 IPC on the statement of Smt. Suman Dutta W/o Sh. Deep Kumar Dutta R/o Dutta Niwas, Kanlog, Shimla A/P Junior Asstt. in Govt. High School Khalini, Shimla stated therein that on 27.01.2017, she came to know that previous night fire incident took place in the school. On this, she visited the spot and found that ceiling, Roofs & Desks of room No. 2 & 3 has been destroyed due to fire. The case is being investigated by HC Narender, I/O PS New Shimla.  

6. MISCHIEF BY FIRE WITH THE INTENT TO DESTROY HOUSE: Case FIR No. 06/17 has been registered at PS Rohru today on 28.01.2017 U/S 436 IPC on the statement of Sh. Prakash Panta S/O Late Sh. Harisaran Dass Panta R/O Village & PO Dadigunsa Tehsil & PS Jubbal Distt. Shimla HP stated therein that he is working as Senior Assistant in SDM Office Dodra Kawar and taken two rooms set on rent basis in the Building of Prithvi Raj Machhan near PWD Workshop Rohru. Today on 29.01.2017, when he was present at his home Dadigunsa, Sh. Sanjay Sood informed him telephonically that his two rooms set was on fire. When he reached there and saw that all things (Property) were burnt and the fire was already over-come by the fire brigade. He doubted that some unknown person set a fire in his two rooms set. The case is being investigated by ASI Gopal Singh I/O PS Rohru.

Crime Report on January 27, 2017

1. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 12/17 has been registered at PS Jhkari on 26.01.2017 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Dharam Sain S/o Sh. Bhagat Ram R/o Village Kotla, PO Jeori, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla stated therein that on 26.01.2017 at about 02-50 PM, when he was going towards Jeori in his vehicle No. HP-51T-1591 and reached near Gasso, at the same time  a Car No. HP-26A-1881, driven by Ram Lal R/o Chirgaon, came rashly from opposite direction and collide with his car. In this accident, one person namely Shravan Kumar R/o Village Gafor Sora, Tehsil Nichar, Distt. Kinnaur died on the way to hospital and 03 persons namely Ramlal, Ravi Kumar & Jagat, sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PS Jhakri.

A GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No. 07/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 25.01.2017 U/S 13-3-67 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of HC Balbir Singh, I/O  PS Chirgaon alleging therein that on 25.01.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff four persons apprehended  by them during playing gambling with cards near Sandasu and recovered Rs. 2,920/- from the spot. 2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 04/17 has been registered at PS Rohru on 25.01.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ankush Luta S/o Sh. 4. A WRONGFUL CONFINEMENT:  Case FIR No. 08/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 25.01.2017 U/S 323 342 392 427 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Sohan Lal obstructed his way, beaten him brutally & threatened with dire consequence. The case is being investigated by HC Ram Lal, I/O PP Taklech.

6. A THEFT: Case FIR No. 05/17 has been registered at PS Rohru on 25.01.2017 u/S 379 IPC on the statement of Sh. Bhupinder Sharma S/o Sh. Pratap Sharma R/o Village Palkan, PO & Tehsil Rohru, Shimla stated therein that he is working with contractor Anil Chauhan. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 06/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 23.01.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Baldev Singh, I/C PP Junga, PS Dhalli alleging therein that on 23.01.2017 at about 05-45 PM, when he alongwith staff was on patrolling in the jurisdiction of PP Junga. At about 05-45 PM, when they reached near bifurcation Hotel Cedar Height, at the same time one vehicle No. HR-21K-8629 alongwith seven persons namely Kulbeer, Deepak, Sukhbeer, Hardeep, Anup, Sandeep & Suresh intercepted by them for checking and recovered 07 Bottles of English Liquor marka Peter Scot (sale for Haryana only) from their possession. At about 06-00 PM, on the way one Machine Excavator, operated by Kamlesh Kumar S/O Uday Ram R/O Vill. Bhannaur Tehsil Poanta Sahib Distt. Sirmour age 36 years, coming from Pangla pul met with an accident & rolled down 200 meter from the road, caused sustained injuries to him. Crime Report on Jan. 23, 2017

1. A MURDER: Case FIR No. 21/17 has been registered at PS Rampur on 22.01.2017 U/S 302 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Parma Nand S/O Lt. Sh. Shyam Sukh R/O Rumali PO Jaon Tehsil Anni Distt. Kullu HP alleging therein that his elder Son Ram Krishan went to his relation at Dugga Matla 02/03 days before. On 21.01.2017, his son told him telephonically that he is at Taklech in the quarter of Sanjay Kumar who is serving in Police Department at PP Taklech. On dated 21.01.17 Sanjay Kumar told him telephonically that he killed his son Ram Krishan. He also heard a noise of another person who was instigating him, both of them were seems to be in intoxicated. He came to Taklech in search of his son and on 22.01.2017 at about  5:30 PM, dead body of his son found from  Taklech Nala. He doubts that above two persons murdered his son. Both accused has been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by Insp. Sanjeev, SHO PS Rampur.

2. A TRESPASS: Case FIR No. 22/17 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 23.01.2017 U/S 452 323 IPC on the statement of Sh.Mahesh Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Beli Ram R/o village Halog, PO Khanari, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla stated therein that on 22.10.2017 at about 09-00 PM, one Daleep @ Bano S/o Sh. 3. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 14/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 22.01.2017 U/S 279 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Rohit S/o Sh. Gauri Shankar R/o Village & PO Chhaila, Tehsil Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 22.01.2017 at about 11-30 PM, one vehicle No. HP-09C-1132 (Eon) on the way towards Mahauri from Chhaila, met with an accident near Chhaila, due to rash & negligent driving of Rajeev S/o Sh. Laiq Ram R/o Village & PO Dhar, Tehsil Theog, Shimla & rolled down from the road. In this accident, driver Rajeev died on the way to hospital. The case is being investigated by HC Inder Singh, I/O PP Chhaila.

4. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 06/17 has been registered at PS Chopal today on 23.01.2017 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Smt. Ruvita Devi W/o Sh. Ajay Zinta R/o Village Jaigarh, PO & Tehsil Chopal, District Shimla aged 26 years stating therein that today on 23.01.2017, she along with her sister Ritu, Dimple and Om Prakash were coming towards Chopal from Nerwa in the vehicle No. HP-08B-0400 (Alto Car) driven by Joginder Dhopta. At about 10-00AM, when they reached near Village Premnagar above vehicle met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Joginder Dhopta and rolled down about 20 meter from the road. In this accident, they all sustained injuries.  Case is being investigated by HC Naresh Kumar, I/O PS Chopal.
