PRESS NOTE 22 FEBRUARY, 2015

 

1.   A Gambling Act case FIR No. 43/15 has been registered at PS Sadar on 21.02.2015 U/S 13-03-67 Gambling Act, on the statement of HC Ravinder No. 80 & Const. Vivek NO. 1478 stated that he alongwith const. Vivek was on patrolling duty in the Ridge, Holilodge area. He got an secret information that four persons are playing cards on bet at Regal Building, on this Sh. Babu Ram S/O Sh. Tek Ram who was on night duty in the School at Regal Building, joined in raided party and captured four persons namely: Narotam Ram, Chet Ram, Priyatam Singh & Kundan Lal who were playing cards on bet and recovered Rs. 35,200/- cash from them. The case is being investigated by ASI Amar Nath, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla.

2.   An Accident case FIR No. 11/15 has been registered at PS East on 21.02.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC, on the statement of Sh. Med Ram S/O sh. Bhagat Ram R/O Vill. Patti, PO Rajhana, Tehsil & Distt Shimla, HP served in MC Shimla, on dated 20.02.2015 at 6.30 PM when he was crossing the road at Vikas Nagar Gate, a car came from Mehli side and hit him. He could not read the number of that car. In this incident he got injured. The case is being investigated by HC Om Krishan I/O PAR Vikas Nagar, PS East, Shimla.

3.   A Cheating case FIR No. 9/15 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 21.02.2015 U/S 323, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120(B) IPC, on the complaint of Sh. Ashok Jhina & Ajay Jhina Sons of Late Sh. Huma Nand R/O Vill. Nehra, PO Panog, Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt Shimla, recd. U/S 156(3) Cr.PC. from the court of Ld ACJM Theog, alleging therein that Bhupinder Singh Dhanta & Dalveer Dhanta Sons of sh. Ram Singh Dhanta R/O Vill. Nehra, PO Panog, Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt Shimla, HP beaten them and forged, fabricated & tempered the revenue record of land Khasra No. 264, 272 & 265 of Nehra Check with the help of revenue officials. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla.

4.   A Roiting case FIR No. 15/15 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 21.02.2015 U/S 341, 323, 147, 149, 504, 427 IPC on the Application of sh Ram Parkash s/o Lt sh Hukam chand r/o kingal PO kingal Tehsil kumarsain Distt Shimla HP, stated that today on the demand of manager Jai Gopal Adani group Bithal, kumarsain transport co-operative society Kingal secretary Rakesh kumar send a truck on Bithal in which self and pankaj kumar went on the truck for Bithal cold store, where Ranjeet Behak, Madan Mehta, Ronnu, Binnu and Member of kotgarh Vally truck operater union obstruct their way and beaten, abused them and also broken the truck glasses. In this incident they sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Lachhi Ram i/o PS Kumarsain.

5.   A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 13/15 has been registered at PS Sunni today on 22.02.2015 U/S 341, 323, 504 IPC on the statement of Smt. Dropti Devi W/O sh. Paras Ram R/O Vill. Manjhali Jayan, PO Chanawag, Tehsil Sunni, District Shimla alleging therein that on dated 21.02.2015 at 5.00 PM her Brother-in-Law Rajesh obstructed her way and abusing & beaten her and her son Amar Dev. In this incident they both sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Hem Raj i/o PS Sunni.

6.   During last 24 hours Total 180 vehicles challaned by Shimla police under MV Act and 01 challaned under Mining Act. Total Challan compounded= 68 and Fine realized Rs. 20,300/-.

1.    Accused Santosh Kumar S/O sh. Durga Singh R/O Chandel Niwas, Nr Durga Gas Agency, Sanjauli, Shimla-6 Age 18 years arrested on dated 21.02.2015 in Case FIR NO. 66/15 Dated 18.02.2015 U/S 454,380 IPC PS Dhalli.
