Crime Report February 24, 2015

1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 45/15 has been registered at PS Sadar on 23.02.2015 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Jasveer Singh, Addl. SHO PS Sadar, Shimla stated therein that on 23.02.2015, he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty towards Lalpani & Krishna Nagar in Shimla. At about 09-40 PM, when they reached near School Gate at Lalpani, one person namely Pankaj Sidhu S/o Sh. Raj Kumar R/o Labour Hostel, 1^st Floor Krishna Nagar, Shimla, age 16 years intercepted by them. During search, 416 charas recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Jasveer Singh, Addl. SHO PS Sadar, Shimla.

2. An Excise Act case FIR No. 32/15 has been registered at PS Theog on 23.02.2015 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Dharam Sain, I/O PS Theog, Shimla stated therein that on 23.02.2015, during patrolling, he recovered 07 bottles of English Liquor marka Master Blind  from the Dhaba of Jai Ram S/o Sh. Rupi Ram R/o Village Vamahal, Tehsil Theog, Shimla. The Case is being investigated by SI Dharam Sain I/O PS Theog.

3. An Excise Act case FIR No. 07/15 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 23.02.2015 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Manish Raj Sharma, SHO PS Chirgaon stated therein that on 23.02.2015 at about 5:30PM, during patrolling he recovered 12 Bottles of country liquor & 6 bottles bears from the possession of Banti S/O Sh. Shiv Singh R/O Village Kaloti, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla. The Case is being investigated by SI Manish Raj Sharma, SHO PS Chirgaon

4. A Rioting case FIR No. 44/15 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 23.02.2015 U/S 147,149,341,323,504 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Chander Kant Verma S/o Sh. Hans Raj Verma R/o Set No. 3, Block No. 10, Banaras Court, Chhota Shimla stated therein that on 23.02.2015 at about 06-00 PM, when he was going towards Kalibari Temple, on the way 5 persons namely Amit @ Prince, Atul Sharma, Ajay Thakur alongwith 2 another persons have obstructed his way, abused & beaten him. The case is being investigated by ASI Paramjit Thakur, I/O PS Sadar.

5. Act endangering life or personal safety of others case FIR No 30/15 has been registered at PS Rampur on 23.02.2015  U/S  336,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Shyam Lal S/O Sh. Bhau Ram R/O Shah, PO Dofda, Jhakri, Teshil Rampur  Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that on 23.02.2015 at about 01.30 PM,  he was coming towards Rampur in M/Cycle No CH-03-M-5220 along with Ishwar Mehta and Kader Singh. When they reached near Nogli, at the same time one JCB Machine came rashly from Nogli Temple and hit with JCB Bucket  due to rash and negligent act/driving of JCB driver and created endanger to human life. They sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Karam Chand, I/O PS Rampur.

6. Assault on public servant during discharge of his duty case FIR No. 09/15 has been registered at PS Chopal on 23.02.2015 U/S 353,332,504 IPC on the application of Sh. Gian Bragta S/O Sh. Ram Dass R/O Rarat, P.O & Tehsil Chopal A/P Superintendent Gr-II G.S.S.S. Dewat stated therein that on 23.02.2015 one person namely Prem Dutt (Helper) abused him, and pushed him and torn off his sweater while he was on duty at  GSSS Dewat. The Case is being investigated by HC Gian Singh No.214 I/O PS Chopal.

7. Mischief by destroying public authority case FIR No. 11/15 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 23..02.2015 U/S 435  IPC on the statement of Sh. Satish Ghajta S/O Late Sh. Devinder Singh R/O Anti Tehsil Jubble Distt. Shimla stated therein  that  he is a shopkeeper at Anti Bazar and also owner of truck No. HP62A-2078. On 22.02.2015, the above truck parked on the road side beside his shop at Anti Bazar. In the intervening night of 22/23.02.2015, some unknown person has set a fire in his truck  and destroyed it. The case is being investigated by ASI Ranjeet Singh I/C PP Sarswati Nagar.

8. An Accident case FIR No. 54/15 is registered at PS West on 24.02.2015 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Manjeet Kumar S/o Sh. Mandan Lal R/o Block No. 4, Set No. 30, Police Line Kaithu, Shimla stated therein that on 24.07.2015, he was going towards Bharari in his scooter No. HP-07-4067. When he reached near road bifurcation at Kaithu, at the same time one Pick-Up No. HR-65-5392 came rashly and hit his scooter. In this accident he sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Laiq Ram, I/O PS West.

9. A House Trespass case FIR No. 14/15 is registered at PS New Shimla on 24.02.2015 U/S 451,504,506,323 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Mahender Thakur S/o Late Sh. Jeet Ram Thakur R/o Jeet Ram Building, Lower Khalini, Shimla stated therein that on 23.02.2015 at about 01-00 PM, one person namely Ravi Kant entered in his house and abused his uncle Prakash Chand. When he tried to stopped him, he slapped him and threatened him with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by  L/HC Shanta, I/O PS New Shimla.

10. A Committing Affray case FIR No. 69/15 has been registered at PS Dhalli on  24.02.2015 U/S 160 IPC on the rukka of ASI Dharam Singh I/O PP Sanjauli alleging therein that today he alongwith staff was on patrolling and law and duty at Sanjauli chowk, Shimla. At  about 12.50 PM, two persons namely Mohd Shajid S/O Mohd Yusuf R/O Krishna cottage Sanjauli a/p fruit seller at Sanjauli Bazar and mohd Ashif S/O Shamshad Khan R/O Apakha Apple Agency Shop No.15 Sabzi Mandi Shimla A/P commission agent fruit seller were quarrelling and created a nuisance in public place. The case is being investigated by ASI Dharam Singh I/O PP Sanajuli.

11. During last 24 hours Total 246 vehicles challaned by Shimla police under MV Act. Total Challan compounded= 89 and Fine realized Rs. 47,100/-.
