Crime Report February 17, 2015

1. An Accident case FIR No. 06/15 has been registered at PS Chopal on 16.02.2015 U/S 279, 337 IPC  on the statement of Sh. Ankush Sharma  S/o  Sh.  Sant Ram Sharma R/o Village  Badlawag, PO Chambi, Tehsil Chopal alleging therein that on 16.02.2015, at at about 07.15 PM, one  Alto K-10 car met with an accident at near Okkta dhank and rolled down approximately 300 feet from road due to rash & negligent driving of Sh. Praveen Kumar S/o Sh. Jai Ram R/O Village Badlawag. in this accident two persons sustained injuries.  The case is being investigated by HC Dinesh Kumar,  I/O PS Chopal.
2. An Accident case FIR No. 05/15 is registered at PS Chirgaon today i.e. 17.02.2015 U/S 279, 304A IPC on the rukka of ASI Kuldeep Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon Shimla alleging therein that today at about 08-00 AM, an accident information received at PS Chirgaon. On this information, he alongwith staff rushed to the spot and found that one vehicle No. HP-62-2012 (Bolero Pick-Up) met with an accident at Ranol Khad near Devidhar, due to rash & negligent driving of Desh Raj S/o Sh. Madan Sain R/o Village Kulgaon, PO Jangla, Chirgaon Shimla and rolled down 40 meter from the road. Driver Desh Raj died on the spot in this accident. The case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon.  
3. A Wrongful Restraint Case FIR No. 27/15 has been registered at PS Theog on 16.02.2015 U/S 341,323 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Man Mohan Singh S/o Late Sh. Rangi Ram R/o Village Devathi, Tehsil  Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 16.02.2015, one person namely Raju @ Sahib restraint his way and beaten him. He sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Sunil Kumar, I/O PS Theog.
4. During last 24 hours Total 92 vehicles challaned by Shimla police under MV Act and 13 Persons challaned under Smoking Act. Total Challan compounded= 53 and Fine realized Rs. 20,200/-.

Follow-Up

1. Three Accused namely (1) Atul Singh S/o Sh. Vikram Singh R/o Sector-III, Negi Niwas, New Shimla, age 19 years, (2) Rahul Chauhan S/o Sh. Khoob Chand R/o Vilalge Jehrwin, PO Karsog, Distt. Mandi, age 21 years and (3) Rajesh Kumar R/o Khalini Chowk, Type-I, Set No. 7, Shimla, age 20 years, have been arrested in case FIR No. 09/15 is registered at PS New Shimla today i.e. 11.02.2015 U/S 21,29-61-85 ND&PS Act PS New Shimla, sent to judicial custody by trial court.
