Crime Report February 02, 2015

1. An Accident case FIR No. 20/15 is registered at PS Theog  today i.e. 02.02.2015 U/S 279,337,304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Amit Kumar S/o Sh. Hira Singh R/o Village & PO Maid, Tehsil Sadar, Hamirpur stated therein that he and another vehicle No. HP-67-3043 driven by Jayoti, was going towards Madom (Chopal) from Chandigarh loaded with HIMFED compost. When we reached near Sainj, driver Jyoti lost his control and above vehicle met with an accident & rolled down from the road. In this accident, Driver Jyoti died on the spot and one person sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Kamalpati, I/O PS Theog.  

2. A Theft case FIR No. 23/15 has been registered at PS Sadar on 01.02.2015 U/S 379,511,34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Jagdish Chand S/o Late Sh. Sahnu Ram R/o Village Rangol, PO Kalighati, Sub- Tehsil Dhami, Shimla A/P Watchman O/O PWD, Sub-Division No. 2, IGMC, Shimla alleging therein that On 01.02.2015, when he stood outside his quarter and saw that three per  sons were coming towards PWD Store below the Rain Shelter at Lakkar Bazar Shimla. On this he alongwith Sh. Ram Aasara, watchman in Bio-Medical Waste Plant of MC Shimla, went towards PWD Store and found that  three persons namely Suresh Kumar @ Suraj Kumar S/o Sh. Bir Bahadur R/o Village Metuli, PO Bestra, PO Delakh, Anchal Beri Nepal A/P  Dhara near Gulab Singh Building Lower Sangti, Sanjuali Shimla, age 26 years,  Raju S/o Sh. Ram Bahadur, age 21 years and Rajkumar S/o Sh. Shankar, age 19 years (both) R/o Mehta Building. Engine Ghar, Sanjauli, Shimla were uprooting the Iron Gate (grill) of PWD Store with the intention to theft and ran away from the spot. Above accused have been arrested by the police and case is being investigated by ASI Tek Ram, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla. 

3. A Theft case FIR No. 53/15 is registered at PS Dhalli on 02.02.2015 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Suresh Kumar S/O Sh. Gyan Chand R/O Vill. Danalata, PO Janedghat, Sub-Tehsil Junga, Distt Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 01/02.02.2015, some unknown person has stolen away four bag of cement etc. in the vehicle No. HP-16A-0225. The case is being investigated by ASI Beldev Singh I/C PP Junga.

4. During last 24 hours Total 122 vehicles challaned by Shimla police under MV Act & 02 challaned under Mining Act. Total Challan compounded= 97 and Fine realized Rs. 17,600/-.

Follow-Up

1. Three accused namely Suresh Kumar @ Suraj Kumar S/o Sh. Bir Bahadur R/o Village Metuli, PO Bestra, PO Delakh, Anchal Beri Nepal A/P  Dhara near Gulab Singh Building Lower Sangti, Sanjuali Shimla, age 26 years,  Raju S/o Sh. Ram Bahadur, age 21 years and Rajkumar S/o Sh. Shankar, age 19 years (both) R/o Mehta Building, Engine Ghar, Sanjauli, Shimla have been arrested in case FIR No. 23/15 Dt. 01.02.2015 U/S 379,511,34 IPC at PS Sadar.
