An Excise Act case FIR No. 12/15 is registered at PS Sunni today i.e. 19.02.2015 U/S 39 HP Excise Act & 192,196,181 MV Act on the rukka of ASI Prem Lal, I/O PS Sunni stated therein that on 19.02.2015, he alongwith staff was on Naka duty on Zero point jalog-Himri Road. At about 08-00 AM, one Car No. HP-03-4137, driven by Roshan Lal S/o Sh. Beg Ram R/o Village & PO- Himmari, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla, stopped for checking. During checking, he recovered 108 bottles of country liquor marka Darling from his possession. Driver Roshan Lal was also failed to produced vehicle documents & driving license. The case is being investigated by ASI Prem Lal, I/O PS Sunni.
An Accident case FIR No. 20/15 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 18.02.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Rohit Kumar S/o Sh. Sagar Dass R/o Village Kaithu, PO Taklech, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla stated therein that he was going to Sholding (Kinnaur) alongwith his father on Motorcycle No. HP-06A-1832. At about 02-00 PM, when they reached near Manglad, at the same time one Bolero Campur No. HP-06-0287 came rashly from Jeori and hit his motorcycle. In this accident, they sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Gopal, I/O PP Joeri.
An Accident case FIR No. 50/15 has been registered at PS West on 19.02.2015 U/S 279,337,304A IPC on the rukka of SI Kulwant Singh, I/O PS West, Shimla stated therein that on 18.02.2015, he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty towards Shoghi. When they reached near Taradevi- Totu bifurcation, he found that one vehicle No. DL-1YB-3416 (Indica) met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of car driver and rolled down 200 meter from the road. In this accident two persons namely Rahul Nimrde R/o Nagpur, Maharashtra & driver Amit R/o New Delhi have sustained injuries and one female Rucha Mate W/o Sh. Rahul Nimrde R/o Nagpur, age 22 years died on the spot. The case is being investigated by SI Kulwant Singh, I/O PS West.
An Accident case FIR No. 07/15 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 19.02.2015 U/S 279,304A IPC on the rukka of ASI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Kotkhai stated therein that in the intervening night of 18/19.02.2015, a vehicle No. HP-09A-3995 (Alto 800), met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Pankaj S/o Sh. Shanti Singh R/o Village Kamhali, PO Himri, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla and rolled down 100 meter from the road near Himri Kainchi Jurag curve. In this accident Pankaj died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Kotkhai.
An Accident case FIR No. 51/15 has been registered at PS West on 19.02.2015 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the rukka of HC Shyam Lal, I/O PP Jatough, Shimla stated therein that on 19.02.2015, on the accident information at PP Jutough, he alongwith staff rushed to the spot and found that one vehicle No. HP-01A-4268 (Alto Car) met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of car driver and rolled down 120 meter from the road at Shalu Curve near Banuti. In this accident two persons namely Driver Pradeep Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Keshav Ram R/o Village &PO- Rouri, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, age 37 years & Rajender S/o Lt. Sh. Roop Singh, R/o Village Nalyal, PO Chaily, Summer Hill Shimla, age 33 years have died on the spot and one person namely Kuljeet Singh S/o Sh. Amarjeet Singh R/o Village neri, PO Chaily, Summer Hill Shimla, age 32 years sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by SI Harish Kumar, I/C PP Jutogh.
A Burglary case FIR No. 66/15 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 18.02.2015 U/S 454 380 IPC PS Dhalli on the complaint of Sh. Rajesh Sharma, Retired Principal, Surya Niwas, Cemetery Road, Sanjauli, Shimla alleging therein that on 10.02.2015, some unknown person entered in his house from window and stolen away golden/silver ornaments i.e. 2 necklace, 4 bangles (kada), 5 ladies finger rings, one silver necklace, 3 silver payals, 2 silver bangles, one Micromax Mobile etc. & cash Rs. 5000/- from the room. The case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Singh, I/O PS Dhalli.
A Wrongful Restraint & Criminal Intimidation case FIR No. 07/15 has been registered at PS Chopal on 19.02.2015 U/S 341,323,427,506,34 IPC on the application of Sh. Ram Lal S/o Late Sh. Kamal Chand R/o Village Thana, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla alleging therein that on 18.02.2015 at about 08-30 AM, Sant Ram alongwith his son namely Pramod Kumar R/o Thana, Tehsil Chopal, obstructed his way and damaged the wall of his field. They have also beaten and threatened him with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Gopal, I/O PS Chopal.
During last 24 hours Total 150 vehicles challaned by Shimla police under MV Act. Total Challan compounded= 71 and Fine realized Rs. 23,400/-.
Follow-Up
Accused Rajesh Kumar S/o Sh. Tek Ram R/o Village Kainthser, PO Fagu, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 35 years has been arrested in case FIR No. 26/15 Dt. 13.02.2015 U/S 18,21-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Theog, sent to judicial remand upto 04.03.2015 by the Trial Court.
