Crime Report February 18, 2015

1. An Excise Act case FIR No. 08/15 has been registered at PS Newa on 17.02.2015 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Narender Singh, SHO  PS Nerwa stated therein that on 17.02.2015, he alongwith staff on patrolling duty. When they reached near Dawada Pul, on the secret information he searched the shop of Inder Singh S/o Sh. Devi Ram R/o Village Bharanu A/P Shopkeeper Bharanu. During search, he recovered 84 bottles of English liquor marka XXX Rum from the Godown of his shop.   The  case is being investigated by SI narender Singh, SHO PS Nerwa.
2. An Accident case FIR No. 19/15 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 17.02.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Kamlesh Kumar S/O Sh. Ram Lal, R/O Khalti, PO Sarahan, Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla (HP) age 22 years stated therein that on 17.02.2015, he alongwith Kapil Kumar R/O Rangori went to Kyar for purchasing the articles of shivratri pooja. After purchasing, they are waiting for bus at bus stop Bathara At about 12:30 PM A Private Bus Bus No. HP-63 A- 1417(Hallaluhaia) come to Sarahan from Rampur. They stopped the bus, when they carried the articles (Goods) on the roof of bus, suddenly the driver started the bus and Kapil fell down on the road by due to negligent driving  of Bus driver. In this incidents, Kapil sustained injuries. The case has been investigate by ASI Cherring Dorje, I/C PP Sarahan.
3. An Accident case FIR No. 49/15 is registered at PS West today i.e. 18.02.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC on the  statement of Sh. Hirda Ram S/o Sh. Durga Ram R/o Village & PO Tand, Tehsil Sadar, Distt. Mandi, HP A/P Driver in Private Bus No. HP-65A-0786 (Akram Caoch) stated therein that On 08.02.2015, he was coming from Mandi to  Shimla in above bus. At about 08-50 AM, when he reached near Old Dump Store, at the same time one Truck No. HP-64-2764, came rashly towards Shimla and collide with his bus. The case is being investigated by HC Yog Raj, I/O PP Dhami.
4. During last 24 hours Total 148 vehicles challaned by Shimla police under MV Act and 04 Persons challaned under Smoking Act. Total Challan compounded= 100 and Fine realized Rs. 29,500/-.

 Follow-Up

1. Accused Hem Raj Chlawane S/o Sh. Chkuntne R/o Orda No. 3 Vill. Sidheshwari Distt. Salyan Aanchal Rapti Nepal, aged about-20 Years has been arrested in case FIR No. 33/15 Dt. 21.01.15 U/S 302,34 IPC PS West Shimla, today sent to judicial remand by the Trial Court.
