1. A BURGLARY case FIR No. 29/13 is registered at Police Station New Shimla on 21-05-13 U/S 454, 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Rajender Sharma S/o Sh. Sidhu Ram R/o B. No. 11, Set No.-2, Sec-5, Phase-3, New Shimla, alleging therein that on 21-05-13 some unknown person has stolen away 1 gold ring, 1 gold chain and cash Rs. 50,000/- from his house. Total cost of stolen property is Rs. 90,000/-(app). Case is being investigated by ASI Mohinder Singh I/o PS New Shimla.
2. A THEFT case FIR No. 49/13 is registered at Police Station East on 21-05-13 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Mr. Sandeep Justa S/o Sh. Mohan Lal R/o Vill Deora, PO Jais, Teh Theog, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that during the intervening night of 21/22-05-13 some unknown person has stolen away his M/Cycle Pulsar No. HP-07-7430 parked near Liquor Shop Mehli. Case is being investigated by HC Harish I/o PS East, Shimla.
3. A THEFT case FIR No. 87/13 is registered at Police Station Rampur on 21-05-13 U/S 381 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Parkasha Nand S/o Sh. Noya Nand R/o Vill Sunair, PO Nishani, Teh Niramand, Distt Kullu, alleging therein that during the intervening night of 21/22-05-13 his driver named Bittu has stolen away his vehicle IKon No. HR-49A-0532. Case is being investigated by HC Sunil Kumar I/o PS Rampur.
4. A WRONGFUL RESTRAINT case FIR No. 88/13 is registered at Police Station Rampur on 21-05-13 U/S 341, 323 IPC on the application of Smt. Ram Piyari W/o Sh. Padam Dass R/o Vill Karali, PO Dansa, Teh Rampur, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 21-05-13 at 6:00 PM one Smt. Shanti Devi R/o Vill Karali, PO Dansa, Teh Rampur, Distt Shimla wrongfully obstruct her way and beat her. Case is being investigated by HC Ram Lal I/o PS Rampur.
5. During last 24 hours 72 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act for the violation of Traffic rules and 09 persons were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005). The total amount of Compounding fee of challans under MV & COPTA Act is Rs. 14,500/-.
