CRIME REPORT 2 MAY

1.       An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 75/13 is registered at Police Station Rampur 01-05-13 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Pawan Sharma S/O Charan Dass Sharma R/O VPO Duttnagar Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla alleging therein that on 01/05/2013 he was at his shop, at about 9.30 p.m one M/Cycle No HR 2L-4114 coming from Nirath side fell down in the deep Nullah, during this accident which Motor Cycle rider Rajender Rana @ Raj and Mehboob (Nepali) sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Bakhshi Ram No 1688, I/O PS Rampur.

2.       An EXCISE ACT case FIR No.I8/13 is registered at P.S.Kotkhai on 01.5.13 U/s 39 OF HP EXCISE ACT on the rukka of HHC Ganga Ram No. 431 PS Kotkhai alleging therein that on 01.5.13 at 5.00 p.m 12 Bottles of illegal wine (Royal Stag) has been recovered at Mahasu Mela ground from the possession of Deepak Raj S/o Dharam Raj S/o Sh. Dharma Raj C/O Rajinder Chauhan R/o Vill-Dhangvi PO-Prem Nagar, Tehsil- Prem Nagar,Kotkhai, Distt. Shimla. Case is being investigated by HHC Ganga Ram No. 431 PS Kotkhai.

3.        An EXCISE ACT case FIR No. 19/13 is registered at P.S.Kotkhai on 01.5.13 U/S 39 of HP EXCISE ACT on the rukka of HC Dev Krishan No.46 I/O PP BAGHI alleging therein that 01.5.13 AT 5.30 p.m 12 Bottles of illegal wine (Royal Stag) & 12 Bottles (Green Label) were recovered at Mahasu Mela ground from the possession of Prem Bahadur S/O Puran Bahadur (Nepali) C/o Padam Singh Chauhan R/o Vill-Bagra, PO-Bagra, PO-Gumma, Tehsil-Kotkhai, Distt. Shimla. The case is being investigated by HC Dev Krishan of P.P.Kotkhai.

4.       A HOUSE TRESSPASS  case FIR No. 20/13 is registered at P.S.Kotkhai on 02.5.13 U/S 452, 323 IPC on the complaint of Harka Bahadur S/o Puran Bahadur (Nepali) C/o Khemu R/o Vill-Baghi, Tehsil & PS Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein thaton 01.05.2013 at about 9.45 pm one person namely Saurabh entered his room with a stick in his hand, he also picked a Darat from his room and hit him on his head with stick & Darat. The case is being investigated by HC Dev Krishan No.46, PP Baghi.

5.       A Wrongful Restraint Case FIR No.91/13 is registered at P.S.Sadar Shimla on 01-5-2013 U/S 451, 34 IPC on the Complaint of Sh Gurcharan Singh S/O Lt Sh Jaswant Singh Saiyad Manjil House No 133/08 near Gurudwara Bus Stand Simla alleging there in that he was driving a Private bus No HP-63-3832, on 1/5/13 at 6.00 p.m and when he reached old I.S.B.T Simla some HRTC Driver & Conductor stopped his bus & wrongfully  restraint him.  This case is being investigated by LHC Mamta No 7 I/O PS Sadar Shimla.

6.       A fire INCIDENT case FIR No 92/13 is registered at P.S.Sadar Shimla on 01.05.2013 U/S 285 IPC on the complaint  of Sh. Vijay Thakur S/o Lt Sh Kirpa Ram R/o Tenant Sh Sukhpreet Singh  Gulri, Shankli Lakkar Bazar Simla alleging therein that on 01.05.2013 at 06.15 p.m Sh Gagam informed him that fire have broke out in Elysium Villa Building,  Shankli Lower Bazar Shimla & he rushed to spot. There is no loss of Human life and loss of property yet to be estimated. This case is being investigated by  HC Amar Dutt No 137 I/O P.P L/Bazar Simla

7.       An ACCIDENT case FIR NO72/13 is registered at P.S.West on 2-5-2013 U/S 336 337  IPC on the statement of  Kumari Puja  D/O Sh Madan Lal  Village Bharari P.O-Nehri  Sarail,  Tehsil- Ghumarwin  Distt Bilaspur alleging therein that she is a student of  HPU Summer Hill, while she was going towards  H.P University Summerhill an HRTC Bus came and hit her and she sustained injuries during this accident. This case is being investigated by HC Ravinder No.83, PS West Shimla.

8.       During last 24 hours 106 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under  M.V. Act for the violation of Traffic rules, 07 persons was challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005) and no challan under Mining Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans under MV, Mining & COPTA Act is Rs. 17,400/-

9.       An INQUEST report has been lodged at Police Station Kotkhai on 30.4.13 at 07.45 p.m on the complaint of Ravinder Chauhan S/O Sh. Laia Ram Vill-Dakhal, PO-Kiari, Tehsil & PS Kotkhai, Shimla stating therein that a nepali girl is lying dead outside a dera on this ASI Om Krishan along with staff rushed to spot and found that in the morning of 30.4.13 two nepali persons found deceased Manju D/o Lt. Prem Bahadur lying dead on pagdandi at a distance of about 50/60 meter from her dera.  Deceased girl was suffering from epilepsy, no mark of hurt/ scratch was found on the dead body of deceased. No foul play has been found so far in her death, enquiry of inquest is on.
