CRIME REPORT 1 MAY

1.      An ACCIDENT case FIR No 42/13 is registered at Police Station  East Shimla on 30-04-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the information of an accident through PAR Shimla  one vehicle M/cycle No. HP-16-4418 met with accident near Tibetan School Chhota Shimla when PSI Parveen Kumar PS East Shimla rushes the spot he found M/cycle rider Mr. Sarvesh Thakur S/o Sh. Arjun Singh R/o VPO Bhelan. Teh Pachhad, Distt Sirmaour and Monika D/o Sh. Liaq Ram R/o Vill Jarla, PO Kadiwan, Teh Rohru, fell down from the above M/Cycle and sustained injury. Case is  being  investigated by PSI Parveen kumar I/o PS East Shimla.
2.   During last 24 hours 95 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act for the violation of Traffic rules and 09 persons were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005). The total amount of Compounding fee of challans under MV, Mining & COPTA Act is Rs. 22,900/-.
